About: Bilingual and able to communicate with families in Spanish, as well. Neighbors and friends have trusted me to care for their pets/homes for almost 7 years. They often say we're (my fiance and I) the only ones they trust to care for their pets. I have experience with senior pets and worked at a rescue previously. Excited to be going full time pet sitting/walking in 2026! I'm very reliable, flexible and am available last minute, 7 days a week and on holidays. I take extra care to keep pets happy, safe and comfortable. I follow instructions given and use caution when necessary to prevent any escapes. I do not do boarding in my home.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I have been 8 years old. I have had dogs all of my life and am experienced with puppies and elderly dogs as well. I would love to play, walk, or even just provide companionship for your dog. I work full time but I am currently available part time Tuesday through Thursday to care for your pet. PMs are better for me but I can be flexible as well. My dogs are crate trained but only while I am away from home. They walk well on leashesand also have a nice fenced in area to play in my yard. I am comfortable caring for your pet to your preference and your pet's preference.
“My dog absolutely loves Emma. I had no worries at all while leaving him in her care. It seems like he had the best time with her while we were away and she sent us so many great pictures of him! We will be hiring her again for any other vacation we go on. It is so nice to have someone we trust in the neighborhood!”

About: Choosing who to leave your dog with is an important decision. We will treat your dog like part of our family so they feel relaxed, safe and comfortable. With no kids and no pets in our home, your dog will get 100% of our attention. We live on 37 acres in the country, so there’s plenty of room for your dog to explore. We have trails where we can walk your dog on a leash and a fully fenced 1-acre yard for safe, supervised play or a snooze in the yard. Whether your dog is active or more laid back, they’ll have what they need in our home. Your dog will be included in whatever we’re doing inside, outside or around the property. Throughout the day and evening they get a mix of supervised indoor and outdoor time, leashed walks on our wooded trails and play sessions with toys, balls and frisbees. We also make sure they have plenty of quiet time to rest and relax. Each dog's activity is adjusted based on their energy level and needs - whether they’re active and playful or prefer a more laid back routine. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * NOTE: My standard Daycare rate includes up to 10-hours of fun and companionship for your dog. I am always happy to accomodate a longer day. Stays beyond 10-hours will include an add-on of $4 per hour to cover the additional care. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * $35 - up to 10 hours per day $39 - 10 to 11 hours per day $43 - 11 to 12 hours per day $47 - 12 to 13 hours per day We are both retired so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods of time. We follow your dog's normal routine as closely as possible including feeding schedules, rest time and any specific care instructions. We want them to feel comfortable, secure and settled while they’re here.
“Ashley always does a wonderful job with our dog Lincoln. She is always on time, takes him for a walk, and plays with him before she leaves. We have hired Ashley several times and each time she has done a great job. Reliable, professional, and caring. We feel fortunate to be able to hire Ashley.”

“Kimberly did an awesome job with my two senior cats. Zeke didn’t lose any weight while I was gone and Willie was spoiled with frequent walks on his leash to the point that I probably can’t live up to his new expectations 🙄. Will definitely use Kimberly again.”

“My African Grey parrots were thankful for Becky’s company and seemed to enjoy her. We were grateful for her willingness to, not only care for our birds, but she also watered the garden for us!”

“Marissa was a fantastic sitter for Isla. She can be a shy kitty for strangers, but Marissa sent great photos her everyday, which means Isla warmed up to her quickly. It was a relief for us to know that our kitty was well looked after while we were gone. We will definitely try to book Marissa again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a good cat sitter. Thanks Marissa!”

“Kelly is awesome! She has a way with animals that puts them at ease. We feel super comfortable with her and will definitely be a repeat customer. Thank you very much Kelly!!”

About: I grew up with animals and have been dog sitting for 16+ years. I’m experienced with puppies, training, senior care, and dogs of all personalities. I’ve also cared for other animals, including horses and household pets. I treat every animal like family and provide loving, attentive care! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I enjoy spending time with animals throughout the day, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or simply giving them companionship and attention. I’m flexible and happy to adjust my routine to meet each pet’s individual needs and schedule. I have two loving dogs at home who enjoy walks, hikes, retrieving, deer tracking, and swimming. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
