When Candace opened the door and got right on the ground to greet her, Georgie bounded in and never looked back. Candace and wonderful Jimmy and their family are pure dog people. Their home is dog heaven with outside access all the time, toys, cozy dog areas, soft couches and humans always available. Their adorable dogs are super friendly and welcoming. I can’t say enough how loving and sweet Candace and Jimmy are. Georgie loved them and I grew concerned she wouldn’t leave!!! Candace has a lifetime of experience and an unequaled passion for dogs. About: I truly believe pets are family and treat every dog and cat in my care with patience, love, and attention. I grew up with both dogs and cats and had my childhood dog, Misty, for 18 wonderful years. She crossed the rainbow bridge in June of 2026. I also have experience coordinating adoption events for foster pets through nonprofits, giving me hands on experience with animals of all temperaments, including rescues. As a stay-at-home mom, I offer a flexible schedule and can accommodate early mornings, evenings, drop in visits, and long walks. I’m also comfortable administering medications and adapting to your pet’s specific needs and routine. Always happy to do meet & greets to ensure I am a good fit for your fur babies. 🐾 🤎 I’m home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for drop ins, walks, and consistent care. I’m especially available early mornings and evenings, and I’m able to plan my day around your pet’s needs. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, and I always keep pets separated in my home to make sure everyone stays comfortable and stress free. I keep a clean, calm environment and keep a close eye on all pets at all times. I really try to stick to your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I’m happy to follow whatever schedule you have for feeding, potty breaks, walks, meds, and playtime. I’m very flexible and easy to work with, just tell me what your pet needs and I’ll make it happen. I’m also totally comfortable with security cameras in the home and believe in being open and transparent. 🙂 I’ll also send photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away!

House/pet sitting; I am available to discuss this option, but as a pet parent, can be challenging to accept but I definitely will work with you on the details, to make sure everybody’s taken care of in a timely manner, ie potty breaks. I have done pet care in my home along with overnight stays at client’s homes. I have also done dog/puppy and kitten fostering for local area shelters since 2019, as well as on my own, rescuing countless pets and reuniting lost pets with their owners, for decades. I treat all animals the same way I would want mine treated. Your beloved pet becomes THE VIPet, in my home. My pets are fully vaccinated and on monthly flea and tick preventative. I am relatively new to Rover as a pet care provider. True to my nature and love for animals I fall in love and care for each, and every one, I care for in and outside of my home. For dog walking services: Summertime: I prefer before 11 AM or after 7 PM, to avoid excessive overheating of your pet and the ground and when there is normally shade throughout the typical neighborhood in which they can be walked.
