“Jen was amazing in every way! She sent us regular updates and took great care of our pup while we were hiking for the day. We are excited to have our dog stay with her again!”

About: I have had a dog at least 20 years. We occasionally have a Labrador a week at a time, he has full run of the house. I do not work, so I am home most of the time. I do local Arts Markets, but those aren't long days. A dog would get lots of attention. I have a fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for playing. The house is one floor, which would be easier on older dogs.
“Kim came to pick Numbers up from my wedding and helped her stay still in photos. I was thrilled to send the dog with her because I knew she would be safe and well cared for. When we came to pick her up the next morning was happy and even a little tired from playing.”

About: I am very attentive and enjoy playing with them. I will treat every animal if it were my own. I also continue my education on dog care so to provide the best experience for your dog. To add..I am also experienced with cats as well. I feel I am a responsible person that would make sure all my clients and their pets needs are met. I also respond to phone messages and emails promply to make sure you concerns are addressed as soon as possible. I also make sure Pictures and videos are sent throughout the stay to Mom and or Dad. I can give potty breaks as much as needed as well as walk or just play with to fit the needs of your furr baby. I am very attentive to your pet. Love playing with and walking them as well as just chilling on the couch with them. I am also very attentive to their feeding needs and will follow strict instructions of owner.
About: I have cared for all types of dogs big and small, and have lived, trained, and babysat dogs since i was little! I love animals, and currently have a flexible schedule to be able to care for yours. I treat them as if they are my own, and will love them with every ounce i have! I will show up in any weather, and have no problems giving medication. I have no fears of any size dog, and am usually the one found with the dog rather than people at any gathering ha! I am super careful, super thorough, and very reliable. I currently do work, but with my schedule I have a lot of time available during the day and afternoons, some nights. I am lucky in that my schedule is flexible, and can do daily visits, walks, short/long term, and potentially overnights. I am able to do overnights with your dog at my house, or happy to come to you as well. I have a big fenced in yard, and live across the street from a giant beautiful park with trails and fields to play in. I have friends who live on my street who, if ever needed, are beyond trust worthy if your pup ever needs anything. My boss also lives next door! I also live right near two other parks, and beaches. I am in a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks as well. I grew up with dogs my whole life, so my parents are also near by. Im also close to two animal hospitals

“Briana accepted our Daisy on short notice and on a holiday weekend. Daisy had such a good day that I don't think she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up! I would highly recommend her services.”

About: (If boarding with us we can do free pick up and drop off Welcome to our home! My husband, Zach, and I are lifelong animal lovers and understand how important it is to find a safe, loving place for your pet while you’re away. We live in a spacious home with both upstairs and downstairs areas, giving dogs plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. I prefer well-trained, housebroken pets. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. Dogs staying with us will enjoy regular walks and lots of attention. If your dog enjoys car rides, we can also go on adventures to local walking trails, parks, or other pet-friendly outings with your permission. Whether your pup prefers playtime, cuddles, or simply a quiet place to relax, we’ll do our best to make them feel right at home. We also have a cat named Phoebe. She is friendly but generally keeps to herself and stays out of the way of visiting pets. I provide frequent updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is being well cared for while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! (Also if it a house sitting it will be me gabby who does those!) Pet care is my full-time profession, which means I have the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of schedules — including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and even last-minute requests when needed. I take pride in being dependable and responsive, so whether you need consistent daily visits or occasional check-ins while you’re away, I’m here to help. My goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I understand that routines can change, and I’m happy to adjust accordingly to meet your needs. Just send me a message with your preferred schedule, and I’ll respond promptly to discuss availability and create a care plan tailored specifically to your pet. Your peace of mind and your pet’s well-being are always my top priorities. I look forward to working with you! When caring for your pet in your home, my top priority is to maintain a sense of consistency and security by following their established routine as closely as possible. I understand that pets thrive on familiarity — with their surroundings, feeding times, walking schedules, and the comforting rituals they’re used to. By preserving these routines, I help ensure that your pet feels safe, calm, and confident in your absence. I take the responsibility of entering someone’s home very seriously and treat every space with the utmost respect and discretion. I’m mindful of your home’s cleanliness, privacy, and any specific instructions you leave — from alarm codes and feeding schedules to favorite toys and bedtime habits. I also provide regular updates, including messages, photos, and notes about how your pet is doing, so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medication, monitoring behavior, or offering extra snuggles to ease separation anxiety, I’m committed to giving your pet the highest level of care and attention. Above all, my goal is to create a trustworthy and stress-free experience — for both you and your pet — by providing compassionate, dependable care in an environment where they feel most at ease: home.

“We are so grateful for Jane’s care of Teddy while we were on vacation in NH. On our second day of day care, Teddy walked right into her house without hesitating, showing us he already felt at home. We appreciated the pictures and updates and would not hesitate to book Jane again!”

About: I have always had dogs but am currently without one after my 16-year-old golden retriever passed away. I am comfortable working with dogs of all ages, and understand how their needs, routines and personalities change throughout their lives. I live in a quiet community with beach access a short walk away. If you have a pup that loves to swim, go on adventures or walks, or simply spend time outside, I would be a great fit. While your away, you can be sure they too are enjoying a mini vacation. I can work from home so your dog will not be lonely during the day. There are some days I may not be home all day, but I will be sure to give them plenty of exercise with time to run, play or swim in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. I also have a life jacket for those dogs who are not strong swimmers or who may want a little extra support in the water. I've not crated any of my dogs, but if you are more comfortable with crating, I can accommodate that if you bring yours. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a small side yard, access to trails and a beach so they will get plenty of time outside.
“Hannah was excellent. She responded to me quickly—very important when you have left your search til the last day. She was clear, always very nice, calming, and she checked to be sure that my dog, Frances, had a temperament which did not object to the presence of her, evidently mellow, two dogs and one cat—she was just very good at customer service. I felt very secure with my dog staying in her (and her husband’s) care. She (and they) obviously knows and cares for dogs. I had useful feedback from the visit (my dog was fine with her cat—(and dogs)—though she has had very little exposure to cats—so it appears vibes are what count with Frances. ) Hannah was friendly even when I changed my time plans on the actual day, oh-so-gently informing me she would definitely modify whenever she could, but she was dealing as well with other customers’ sometimes conflicting schedules. She was very good!”

“Kate and John were incredible in looking after our black lab Pepper! We were visiting Conway from CT and needed a couple of days to visit area attractions with our kids. Their proximity to downtown Conway was perfect for us. Both days Kate and John were ready for us upon arrival and sent messages and pictures throughout the day. They even took Pepper on a nice long walk with their own dogs, which was super nice! I would highly recommend Kate and John if you need a sitter in the Conway,NH area.”

“This was our first experience every using this service or using anything like this and Brittany was a very sweet and kind person! She kept us up to date and sent the most wonderful photos of shadow to us! We recommend for sure! Thanks so much for taking care of our baby ?”

“Becky is as close to perfect as one can get. She is thoughtful, caring, happy and reliable. Seriously do not know what we’d do without her to care for our very shy doggie - who can get into trouble now and then and she goes out of her way to help when we need, Thank you Becky 💛💛💛 Nothing but respect!”

“Soleil had a nice time at Hailey’s home! She offered doggy day care services and was very caring and communicative as a host. She had a very sweet dog named Misty who was also welcoming and got along well with my pup. Lovely property with plenty of space for dogs to roam.”

“Communicating with Suzanne was prompt and easy. Our dog had a meet and greet Saturday, he was very comfortable there. We had a day at the house and all was great. We will be scheduling overnights next.”

About: I’ve owned and worked with dogs my whole life. I am the owner of a grooming salon and have worked in dog daycares as well as an animal hospital. We will treat your pups like our own! 🥰 We like to stick with what they are used to at home. Sleep on the bed? No prob! Snuggle on the couch? You got it! But if you have rules you are working on we are happy to help with those too. We have a large fenced in yard but the snow is high right now. So to be safe we are only taking dogs under 30 lbs. I have always specialized in senior dog care so if you have e an older buddy they are in good hands! ♥️Can’t wait to meet your pups! Also, we have 2 small dogs so yours must be ok with other pups. My husband and I both work from home so it’s easy for us to give the pups attention and care all day. Together we have plenty of time for walks, play, and snuggles! I have a large fenced in yard, but if you prefer walks that’s totally doable. I also have a Chinese crested mix and a Schnoodle who are very used to new dogs in the home. We also have baby chicks in the house until spring but they are in enclosures. In case your pup has a high prey drive, they can be moved to a safer area. 😆

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 111 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Ossipee. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Ossipee commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 111 sitters in Ossipee, 97% respond to messages in under an hour.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
