“She was great with Chase; she kept me updated every day—sending me photos and updates on his behavior. Chase was very happy with her. I would definitely contact her again. Thanks, Rihanna.”

“David is the Dog Sitter of dog sitters. He made our pal Galileo very comfortable and happy. I think Galileo was all choked up when I came to get him. We will not hesitate to call David in the future if we need his expertise.”

“Lauren was an awesome sitter for Camper. She sent me lots of pictures every time he went out (which was several times a day) and made sure that he got lots of play time with other dogs. She was also great giving him medicine. There was great communication before, during, and after his stay. I’d use her again every chance I get.”

“Randy was amazing!! He and my dog were so great together! I received plenty of pics and updates about our pup while we were away! Amazing sitter and really cool human! Will definitely reach out to him the next time we travel.”

“Mary is fantastic! She took both my dogs for a week and they were cared for in a safe place with exercise, tons of snuggles, a beautiful fenced yard, and the company of her two friendly dogs. The easy communication with Mary and her easy going attitude makes you feel like you are leaving your dogs with a trusted friend you’ve known for years . This has been the most positive pet sitting experience I’ve ever had using Rover. Thank you Mary for looking after the doodles like your own.”

“Teresa was kind and accommodating, especially with our last minute request for a sitter! She took great care of our furbaby as evidenced by the happy demeanor of the regular photo updates and status. Our furbaby was instantly at ease with Teresa and we could tell that she would be treated just like she was her own. Highly recommend Teresa! 5 🐾 rating!”

“Kate was super caring and communicative and our dog had such an amazing time — so much so that I could tell that she was disappointed to return home to us. We would highly recommend Kate! Your dog will be in excellent hands!”

About: I work from home, which gives me plenty of time to hang out with your fur baby. I can do obedience training if requested, and all the treats I have are homemade with good ingredients and love:) I have a golden retriever myself. I take her out for potty at 6 in the morning, followed by food time and a longer walk around the neighborhood. While I work at home, I take my dog out to play every 1-2 hours. Five in the afternoon is our dog’s second meal. Then depending on the weather, I take my dog out for a long walk in the evening. I treat my clients’ pets as mine! I never leave pets unsupervised in the back yard, and since I work from home, I always keep an eye on the dog during the day. Treats are homemade with good ingredients and love, but make sure you let me know any allergies your fur babies have.
“Stephanie was a great sitter for SamE! She is quick with her communication, accommodating with her schedule, made sure our dogs were comfortable together, and kept me updated during SamE’s stay. I appreciate the care she provided and have already rebooked her.”

“Shawn and Chuck were fabulous! They had a great setup at their home so it was easy to see Oliver fitting in their groove. We got multiple pictures and videos everyday and great communication before and during. I HIGHLY recommend them!”

I’m comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, and senior pets who may need a little extra patience and care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority, and I’ll make sure you feel at ease with regular updates and communication. I work 12-hour hospital shifts, so my availability can vary slightly week to week, but I’m intentional about only accepting bookings I can fully commit to. On my days off, I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, walks, playtime, and care they need. I’m reliable, communicative, and always make sure pets stay on their normal routine as much as possible. I care for every pet with patience, attention, and genuine love. I know how important it is to trust someone with your animal, so I make safety, comfort, and communication a priority. About: I’ve been pet sitting for over 5 years and absolutely love getting to know your pets and you! I’ve cared for dogs, birds, rabbits and cats of all ages from energetic puppies to senior pets needing a little extra patience and care. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering oral medications, and supporting pets with anxiety or special routines. I always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I treat every pet like my own and keep communication open with regular updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is for you to feel at ease and your pet to feel happy and at home. I currently am in graduate school at Duke, so my schedule is flexible! That means I have plenty of time each day to play, walk, and care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, and I make sure every pet gets lots of attention and care throughout the day. I live on 13 acres of beautiful land with backyard access to trails, which gives plenty of space for walks and outdoor playtime. While the area isn’t fenced, I always keep pets safe and supervised during any time outside. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so your furry friends will have my full attention and plenty of company while they’re here. I also know many pets feel more comfortable staying in their own familiar environment, so I’m always happy to care for them in your home. I primarily offer in-home sitting and make sure to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

93% of sitters in Osmond can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Osmond.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
