I needed a sitter for my dog super last minute and David came through for me - was super quick to respond and was an extremely good communicator from the very beginning to the end of Olive's 2 night stay. His dog and mine got along really well which is great because my Olive can always use more friend time! David was very accommodating, always making sure Olive always felt comfortable and he checked in with picture messages several times a day which gave me peace of mind. He lives close to a state park and has a great yard - so I can definitely vouch that any dog who stays with David is going to basically feel like they are on vacation and get a ton of stimulating exercise. Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have a large, fully fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run, play, and explore safely. I’m very observant and hands-on, so pet parents can feel confident that their dogs will receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection throughout their stay. I work from home and have plenty of time and attention to give to your dog(s). I wake up early so we can get outside before it gets too hot. Happy for short or long stays! I have an acre fenced yard that is reinforced every few inches that is full of fun and smells and space to run. They will always be supervised, and indoors there is lots of cozy spots to lay and/or cuddle.

About: I've been caring for pets since I was young (including dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs) and I currently have 3 cats. 2 of my cats are declawed and get along with the dogs, 1 cat has claws. I'm use to caring for the unique needs of senior pets, including extra bathroom breaks and administering meds. I have three kids, 2 in college and a 17yo, that love pets as well and assist when they can. I live on 12 acres well away from the road but the yard is not fenced. I opened a business in town 9/2021 so I'm no longer home during the day but my husband works from home and when the kids are home from college they assist. I would love the opportunity to get to know your pet(s)! My husband works from home so he can care for them and keep them company during the day. I own a business in town and am usually home by 4pm. I have three kids that love dogs and assist when schedules permit. My cats also get along well with dogs. Dogs are not allowed on furniture but we do play with them if they are the playing kind or let them sleep if that is their preference.

My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. I would play with them, feed them, walk them, and sometimes if they have injuries I would change them and keep an eye on them while they were in my care. I'm currently not working at this moment. Please do NOT book past August 10th.* Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ As I previously mentioned, I have two dogs (both Jack Russells) of my own that are 2 and 8 years old. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: I've had animals ever since I can remember. Big, small, smaller, just about anything you can think of I've had. I take pride in making sure all animals around me are happy and cared for. I can care for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and any small animal from hamsters to bunnies. I'm currently searching for a part-time job, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your animals. I love to be around animals, more than people. So, I've got time to take long walks and excellent care of all your animals. I always take my pups out on a leash. They are trained to go into their crates when we leave. All of my animals get plenty of exercise, lots of toys, and all my love. About: I’ve had animals of many kinds from tiny to huge growing up. I’d normally house sit for family and friends until I decided to join the Rover crew. I enjoy house sitting as I’ve realized pet are usually more comfortable in their own homes. I have the ability to bathe, walk, feed, and of course play with your pets! I am a part time college student doing majority of my classes online. For the time being my schedule is an empty open book waiting to be filled! I have a huge soft spot for making your pets the happiest they can be while they are with me! If they enjoy the car, cuddling up for a movie, stores, parks, or even just being in the backyard you name it and I’d love to make it happen! About: I have been a pet sitter for three years with particular experience with senior dogs, dogs that require medications, and high energy dogs but have taken care of pups of many breeds and temperaments. Pet sitting is my full time job so i am available at all times as long as it does not interfere with other clients scheduling or any important person events which will be communicated. I do drop in visits to keep your pet taken care of for as long and as my times as you need each day i also do overnight care where i drop in throughout the day for the pets needs then spend the night to keep your pet company and taken care of. I have a dog who has a fenced in back yard and is crate trained along with a indoor cat who is litter trained for taking care of clients pets i resupply water, food and give any medication needed, make sure your pets use the restroom and spend time with your pet. i only require that your pet has a safe environment, food and water i do not give treats that are not brought by me as many can cause chocking I also will not provide your dog with any food/medicine they have not had before again for safety reasons.

Over the years, I’ve cared for many dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. I have a large, fully fenced yard that gives dogs plenty of room to run, play, and explore safely. I’m very observant and hands-on, so pet parents can feel confident that their dogs will receive lots of attention, supervision, exercise, and affection throughout their stay. I work from home and have plenty of time and attention to give to your dog(s). I wake up early so we can get outside before it gets too hot. Happy for short or long stays! I have an acre fenced yard that is reinforced every few inches that is full of fun and smells and space to run. They will always be supervised, and indoors there is lots of cozy spots to lay and/or cuddle.
