“We’ve been using Bridget for dog walking for some time now and we can’t recommend her enough. She’s incredibly communicative, always keeping us updated on how our two golden retrievers are doing during their walks. Bridget is also punctual, arriving on time every single visit, and has been available whenever we’ve needed her, which has been a huge relief. Our dogs absolutely love her, and we trust her completely with their care. We highly recommend Bridget to anyone in need of a reliable, caring, and professional dog walker!”

“Thank you for walking Ted ! I appreciate your swift responses, the meet and greet and flexibility, and being prompt. Thanks for taking him out in the snow/cold! We really appreciate it! Highly recommend Holli!”

“Bethany was wonderful with my dog, Nova. They had a great walk together and Nova didn't pull her like she does me. Bethany is very kind, helpful and enjoys being with my dog. I appreciate her very much.”

“Kayla took Luna on a lovely walk while I was gone for the day! Luna loved her walk and was definitely tired for the rest of the day. Kayla was very communicative and even arrived early after checking it was okay to do so!”

“Lindsay is always great! This is my second time getting her support and my dog loves his time with her. I also enjoy that she completes the Rover cards, it’s so helpful to see each walk!”

Because of football practice, I’m available any day after 11:00 AM, including evenings and weekends. I primarily offer dog walks and drop-in visits, and my athletic background allows me to keep up with dogs of any size or energy level. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, runs, or active playtime, I’m happy to match their pace and make sure they get the exercise and attention they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. About: Hi👋 I'm Jill. I grew up on a farm and have always been around dogs & cats. I currently have two cats of my own. They were both strays and came into my life at different times. I love interacting with all types of animals. Since I can't have a dog of my own yet due to living situations, I would love to take care of yours! My sister and brother in-law have two dogs that I watch when they go out of town. One is a bigger 70 lbs Australian Shepard and the other is a smaller 10 lbs toy poodle. I hope to bring peace of mind to you and happiness & excitement to your pets. I work full time, but am available anytime on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays most weeks. 6 a.m. is the earliest I'm available and 10:30 p.m. is the latest. Availability breakdown: Sundays- Before 11 a.m. after 5:30 p.m. Mondays- After 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Wednesdays- After 3:30 p.m. Thursdays- 6 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. (Anytime) Fridays- Before 8:45 a.m. after 7:30 p.m. Saturdays- 6 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. (Anytime) My two cats are grazers so they get fed twice a day and eat when they get hungry. They have a water fountain that circulates the water to mimick a stream. They seem to enjoy moving water better than still standing in a bowl. When I watch my sister & brother in-laws dogs I take them for walks twice a day and we play & cuddle. I work on tricks with them too. I normally use their dry food as treats if we work on tricks for a while.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. Growing up I had cats and dogs and was the main caretaker for my families animals. I'm currently working part-time between 2-8 pm so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays. I will keep up to date if I have work or/and a event I have to go to if it interferes with our plans. Prefer not to do my home because my 3 dogs are skittish and can intimidate your pets. For my pets safety and yours, I refuse to offer services at my home.
About: I've had dogs growing up, currently have 2 dogs back home and my roommate has a cat here in my dorm. I love both and have walked my older dog since I was a little kid. I am a full time student but am always looking for things to do between, before or after classes. I'd be sure to be avaliable weekends and any days I don't have class. I can always go visit to take care of your animal(s), while I cannot offer assistance in my residence, I will always help out by walking or making frequent visits.
About: I’ve lived in a home with three or more pets for my entire life, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior companions, and I understand that every pet has their own unique personality and needs. I also worked at a 24-hour emergency animal hospital for over a year, where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals in a fast-paced clinical setting. I’m currently in school to become a credentialed veterinary technician, which has expanded my knowledge of animal health, behavior, and compassionate patient care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities while they’re in my care. I am currently in-between jobs, but actively in school through Penn foster so I have a relatively open a flexible schedule with proper notification ahead of time! I currently take lewie on walks fo outdoor enrichment ant local parks or we play fetch in the house! We do monitored potty breaks in the back yard. Sadly I will not be able to bring your pet to my home as I have a very reserved shy little guy here who isn’t too kind to others and doesn’t adjust well, but I will be glad to care for your fur baby at your home!
About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was 12. Friends and family have relied on me to feed, walk, and play with dogs! Currently I have a part time job but on the weekends I am free to walk, feed and play with dogs as needed! On the weekends I’m available anytime of the day! I am very good about watching dogs when they go outside to play or use the restroom to make sure they are okay. I follow feeding and walking directions very well to make sure the dog is getting what they need!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Orchard Farm. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. - 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
