“It's my first time using Rover, and I absolutely hit the jackpot! Kelsey made the whole experience so easy and relaxed. She took excellent care of my pup. Can't wait to do this again.”
“Kelsey and family are a lovely home for our little Yorkie. I appreciate having a local, quality dog sitting arrangement. I have no hesitation recommending Kelsey as a pet companion and home sitting service.”

“Amazing! Our Clyde had such a good time! Kinda funny as when I left him, he didn't even want to say goodbye to me. Instead just followed the children into the house to play. Perfect stay!”

“From start to finish Rebecca and Nick were very responsive to our inquiries, calm and kind upon meeting them. They have a beautiful home which they have opened up for four-legged friends. We would recommend them. Note: they are located atop a mountain so get ready for a climb and distracting views of the San Juan Islands.”

“Kelsey was great. She and her family were all very welcoming and expertly introduced my dog Zoe to hers. The two dogs seemed to instantly make friends. She was comfortable walking Zoe off lead . Also Kelsey was super flexible with sleeping arrangements. The space was beautiful, clean and well organized with a large fun back yard. I would definitely use Kelsey's services again.”

“Andrea and family were fantastic. Our dog Stu seemed to love being there as soon as he arrived and we had no concerns about leaving him. They took him on a big adventure walk to a beach and musts have given him a bath as he came back soft and smelling cleaner then ever. Would definitely send Stu back there if we need a petsitter again!”

“Sarah was AMAZING. I was pretty nervous because my dogs aren’t as socialized as they should be. Sarah reassured me and kept me updated with regular photos and messages throughout my trip. Her communication and flexibility with my schedule was beyond exceptional. My two dogs came back home happy with lots of playful energy which tells me enough about their stay! And to top it off, she sent my girls home with cute little pink bandannas ☺️”

“Maryanne and her husband took very good care of my young energetic dog Twinkle, an Irish Water Spaniel. My dog was with them for more than 3 weeks and when she came back home she was relaxed and totally herself. Maryanne was extremely responsive to my communication which made the transaction easy and my vacation stress-free. The cherry on top of the cake: 2 days prior to leaving, Twinkle started her period. I was afraid they would not take her but they were up for the challenge. Its a lot of additional care and hassle so I told Maryanne I would compensate her for the extra work it would give her : she requested a reasonable amount for compensation. I received a couple of photos during our trip and they highlighted Twinkle second birthday party with extra treats and a birthday hat. Maryanne is for sure staying on my contact list of trusted dog sitter.”

“Lenore took the absolute best care one could hope for of my German Shepherd, Maggie. Over the course of the weekend my plans changed, and Lenore was exceptionally flexible. I was able to enjoy my weekend away, completely assured that Maggie was in truly capable hands and cared for by a compassionate heart. Maggie and Lenore‘s dog Rook also got along famously. It’s not just a relief. I have finally found Maggie‘s home away from home.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have spent my whole life with cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits. I helped care for them every day (food, water, bedding changes, grooming) until four years ago when I moved up to Bellingham for college (WWU!). I have always helped out with my family’s animals, but I started having serious responsibilities around the farm and barns when I was about 10 or 11. I have also assisted in birthing multiple litters of kittens, and even one miniature horse! My family currently has 5 horses, 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 fish, and a bunny, all whom I love and help care for when I am home. I also have my own cat and dog who I absolutely adore! We have neighbors who own horses as well, and they would rely on me to take care of them when they were out of town. I currently have a pretty free schedule around school, so I have plenty of time for your fur babies, and would love to spend any and all of it with them!:) My main priority is making sure your pet (or pets) are healthy, happy and safe, just as they would be with you! I will not hesitate to contact you with any questions or concerns so I can ensure your pet is getting the care you are asking for.
“Jael and her family made our dog feel right at home! Drop-off and pick-up were quick and easy, and when we returned, our dog was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. We’ve tried kennels before and our pup came back stressed and underweight — but with Jael, it was the complete opposite. Stella ate well, played, and looked so content when we picked her up. It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like family, but Jael truly does. We couldn’t recommend her more — 10/10 experience!”

“Bailey had a great time with her new friends. She was kept active and comforted when she was fussy ( new place syndrome 😁) She has a new buddy in Ollie and I couldn't be happier for her care! We'll be back!”

“Jack had a great time staying with Chelsea and her dogs and other boarders. I appreciated Chelsea’s willingness to accept a lengthy last minute request when my usual sitter canceled. Her communication was great, she clearly cares for dogs, and her facilities are excellent. I would highly recommend her services to any of my family and friends.”

“Vicki was available last minute to look after our Ridgeback for his very fist night away. She was so good with meeting him for the first time. She was also great about communicating with us and let us know he had settled in nicely. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. Thank you Vicki! We will definitely be back!”

“My husband and I realy felt Kevin and Kayla looked after Bella fantastically ,they loved her as much as we do,we will not hesitate to have them aagain. We realy appreciated there care and attention,. Thankyou to you both, Regards Jackie and Karl and Bella”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was a kid, and to this day, I'm the go-to pet sitter in my family. I have a small dog who’s 4 years old and is very friendly with other dogs, cats, kids, and more. I’ve had him since he was a puppy and personally potty trained him, so I have plenty of experience with puppies. While I haven’t personally cared for a senior dog yet I have lots of free time and am confident I can give any senior dog with the care he or she needs. I'm currently doing some online classes, and I'm unemployed because I'm new to the Bellingham area so I have a bunch of free time to spend with your dogs. I live in an apartment so | don't have a yard for your pup to play in but I'll take your dog on walks very often and I personally take my dog to the dog park very regularly and would love to take yours too if you'd like.
“It was my dog’s first stay away from home and we were both a bit nervous. Marlisa has a calm and gentle manner and a lovely older dog so my dog gradually settled in. I’m pleased with the care and attention she received from Marlisa.”

We have left our dog Woody with Nick and Rebecca several times and they are amazing! Woody always has so much fun and they update us with photos every day. They take such good care of him and he loves them so much he’s always sad on the ride home after a long stay. 10/10 would recommend if you have a trip off island and you can’t bring your dog with you.
