About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! I am not ready to have a dog back in the house full time but have realized, after dog sitting for a friends and family’s dogs, this would be a great way to help care for others pets. My husband and I work from home so letting the dog out is no problem for us. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we do have a lead to let them out on and take frequent walks. We love to take dogs on hikes in the bike trails behind our house. Working from home enables us to make sure your doggy is well taken care of and loved on. We love walking dogs and playing fetch.

My family had rescued three pitbulls while I was growing up, so I am familiar with the process of taking in a dog and allowing them to become comfortable with you on their terms- especially in a home they are not familiar with. Since my own dog is a husky, I am most familiar with high-energy dogs. I work from home and we go on walks at least three times daily. While I don’t have a yard, the Miami Bike Trail is right outside my door so theres plenty of opportunities for walks . I use Rover both as a sitter and as a client so I understand the circumstances of ensuring your pup is in quality care. As a client, I prefer pic/video updates at least three times a day and will ensure you receive the same standard. Since I work from home, your pup will always have someone around.
