About: I had the pleasure of caring for and loving my two shelter (or, found outside in the cold) dogs for about 14 years. From puppyhood to senior years. I understand all stages and will meet their needs as required. I am a mom of four very active boys. I work mornings, Monday through Thursday, so I am free in the early afternoon. I am able to make my own schedule around sports, school, doctor's appointments, etc. My evenings are more busy than my afternoons. I will gladly make time during my day for some four-legged, furry friends. I will gladly come to your home to feed, let out, and/or walk your dog when you cannot. We can schedule an initial meeting to familiarize the dog and myself, and go from there.

About: Throughout my life, animals and children have been drawn to my soft energy. I’ve had and been around dogs and cats all my life. I’ve been working with my giant schnauzer and friends’ dogs that range from rescued grey hounds to small mixed breeds. I am the go-to for any pet sitting for the fur babies. I’m an aunt to a female brindle kitty that is a sassy lady but loves to snuggle me when I visit. Additionally, I frequently watch a reactive grey hound and I am able to still provide the attention she deserves. I understand patience is key when working with people and animals. I currently am a travel Behavioral Therapist for children with autism. I travel to clients’ homes and usually am not gone for more than 5 hours including commute. My weekly schedule can vary but I am clear through with my communication and the expectations needed for any situation. I am typically a homebody who enjoys movies, games, and reading. When house sitting, I usually hang around with your fur baby and offer emotional support until you return. I’ll follow their lead and offer bids for connection. I stick to the routine schedule provided to me (feedings and potty breaks). While providing the known routine for comfort to the animal, I use this time to attempt pairing whether that be with pets of affection, extra treats (if allowed and within acceptable limit), or structured play time.

About: I have had pets all of my life. Growing up we have always taken in shelter dogs and I continue as an adult to adopt rescue dogs. I have taken in dogs while my friends and family have been away and had dog sat at other peoples homes. I have always had dogs with some anxiety and I am very patient with the pups because I know fear in animals and I just want them to feel safe. I am reliable and very compassionate I currently work part time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available week days and nights and on the weekends. I can work with your a schedule. My yard is not fenced and my dog is trained to stay in the yard. I take my dog Scotty for walks and I use a harness on him. I am very patient as I would be new to your pet and it would take them time to get used to me.

About: I used to work at a doggy daycare, and have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. I am comfortable giving medications, bathing, and in cooperative dogs even nail trims. I work part time in the mornings, and I have a few recreational evening activities. I am almost always available by 2pm, and can even stop by in between jobs at work. I am comfortable with using crates when needed, and I am willing to use my car to bring your pup to parks for walks. I also can provide mental stimulation with different kinds of play.

About: I’ve been an animal owner since I was 4 years old, and I’ve worked on a large and small animal farm for 10+ years. My mother was a vet tech so I’ve been trained in animal first aid. I’ve owned dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, poultry, rodents, fish, etc so I’m very experienced! With my college classes I have a few blocks of a couple hour breaks so I can fit pet care into these blocks and on weekends! In my home and in clients home I can do anything from feeding, watering, giving oral medication, walking, play, beginner training, basic first aid, bathing, senior care, and more!

About: I absolutely love animals. I have had quite a few animals throughout my lifetime, and I have always cared for them whether it was volunteering, farms, House/petting sitting. I volunteered for an animal shelter for a couple of years, and that was a dedication and joy. I currently work and house sit on a farm with all sorts of animals that I personally would do for the rest of my life. I enjoy going for hikes and being very active, so if your pet(s) is full of energy then that's a plus. I have a flexible schedule and I'm really nice and easy to work with. I'm available any day anytime after 8 am and available for overnight, and house sitting if it is needed.

About: I’ve always be driven more towards animals, rather than people. I have 2 African mastiffs of my very own! And my family dog, Remington! She is a Rottweiler. I’d love to spend more of my time caring for other peoples pets and suiting their needs while also being a good suite for their parents! In hopes of building a clientele large enough to make this a full time success! I appreciate you considering me, as your pets, sitter/ walker! I have worked in dog daycare facility for 2+ years providing daily care. I gravitate towards shy/ timid dogs who need time to come around. I have some experience with senior dogs, walking dogs (leash trained is preferred). Administering medications, feeding instructions, etc. I am confident in providing day to day care and routine that you & your pet need. As of right now I have full availability (aside from what I have blocked off here on Rover.) Recently due to high anxiety I’ve had to resign from work. So I’ve spent my time caring for my own pets and others pets morning noon and night. I like to make homemade snacks for the pups, enrichment activities, fun outside (weather permitting), walks (as long as they are good on leash❗️), car rides for pup cups! I can administer medications if necessary. I prefer over-nights to be no longer than 1 week. I do crate my Rottweiler, she has found her crate to be more of her safe space where she will take her treats and toys and hang out just because she wants to. With that being said I am familiar with crate training if that’s one of your pets necessities. We stick to a very structured routine. All of my pets get fed twice a day. AM & PM, 2 cups each. With snacks in between. I make lots of homemade snacks as well as trying to stick to all natural! All of them are up to date on all vaccines, flea & tick treatment as well.

“We met with Rachael the evening before her first time sitting with our dogs. She was very nice and seemed excited to doggie sit. I was happy to know that they were not stuck inside all day and that they had a chance to relieve themselves outside.”

About: I’m a compassionate and dedicated animal lover with over 11 years of experience in pet care and farm management. From a young age, animals have been a central part of my life, and my love for them only continues to grow. Whether it’s through my own pets or helping friends and family, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in animal care. I’m on a mission to create a rescue and horse stall that will not only offer a safe haven for animals but will also serve as a place for children with autism and special needs to experience the healing power of animal therapy. My goal is to create an environment where both animals and people can thrive, connecting through the unique bond that therapy animals offer. What I Offer I provide a range of services with your pet’s health and happiness as my top priority, including: • Nail care, grooming, and baths • Dog walking and pet sitting • Specially prepared homemade food tailored to your pet’s dietary needs I believe in offering care that goes beyond just the basics. Your pets will be treated like family, and I promise they will be in the best hands possible. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your pet’s needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help! Thank you for trusting me with your furry family members. Please feel free to share your preferred schedule, here on rover and I’ll do my best to accommodate both your needs and your pup’s. Thank you. I have a partially fenced yard with a river in the back, and my two pups, Nala and Winchester, are here to keep your dog company—there will be plenty of activities and fun for your pup! For the safety and well-being of all pets in my care, I do require an up-to-date vaccination record for each pet. I also ask for a brief overview of your pet’s daily routine, so I can maintain their schedule and ensure they stay comfortable and happy during their time with us. Additionally, please feel free to share any important details, such as potential triggers, resource guarding tendencies, allergies, or anything else I should know. I’d love to also hear about their favorite treats, toys, and activities to make sure they have an enjoyable stay!
