About: I have been a volunteer trainer with the Sierra At Tahoe Avalanche Dogs since I was about 10. My father runs the dog program so I grew up being taught how to train, take care of, and watch over dogs since I was a toddler. At the ski mountain I helped drill the dogs to find subjects in the snow, played, walked, fed, took to the bathroom, and watched over the dogs ages ranging from puppies to senior dogs. My family also has three dogs and three cats all of I have assisted in training, and most of the time look after on my own. I recently left my job so I am open full time with my schedule to take part in pet care. On some days I do need to watch my own animals since my parents work full time, but even then I am always available for even just a check in if needed! I make sure my pets have a set in feeding time as well as they have a signal for bathroom breaks, even if they do not show me they need to go I will periodically let them outside or take them on a walk. Besides just food and bathroom I love to work on skills, tricks, and just playing with the dogs throughout the day as to make sure they are enriched and happy. These qualities go for all animals I may watch too! I pride myself in being able to recognize their behavior so I can adapt for them what they need or want!

About: We have had dogs in our home our entire life. They are always a family member and treated with the best of love and care. I come from a family of breeders and a hunting and show dogs. Our seniors are loved and cared for savoring every last day. We have a ranch with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and explore as well as a huge dog run. We offer different places to keep them safe if running off leash is not the best for your baby. I am a self-employed realtor, who works from home. My husband is a rancher and contractor so one of us is typically home there are times of course when we leave but everybody is locked up safe and sound and they are also welcome to take the car ride with us should we need to run some errands. if it’s important that nobody ever leaves your baby, we can make that accommodation as well. We have a 12 x 24 kennel with multiple dog houses we have kennels of different sizes. We also have a barn with 12 x 12 stalls. We have a fenced in deck that is 30 x 50 so there are many opportunities for your baby to be outside in the fresh air And still be safe. If your dog is an inside dog, we will keep him inside with us and he will be warm and cozy at bedtime.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and my first dog was an Australian shepherd, Wish, who was my companion since I was 10 years old. Throughout the years, I’ve honed my training skills and attended Valor K9 Academy’s shadow program in May 2021. My husband and I currently have a Siberian Husky, Newt, whom we participate in conformation and other fun sports with. He has his UKC Ch and IABCA Ch and also his CGCA and TKA titles, and we are hoping to add some more titles this coming year. I have trained puppies to seniors and specialize in obedience and off-leash work. We currently already have experience boarding in-home with current clients and dogs that go through our evaluation during a consultation. Dog training is my full-time job, and besides volunteering at a local raptor center to gain experience to become a falconer, I spend my days at home with Newt and other dog(s) that we may have. My husband is a manager at a trucking company and helps when he is available/free, usually in the early morning and evenings, and also handles our finances. All pets are supervised. We are strict with our house rules including with our own dog, so if any dog(s) will not be supervised or I am out of the home, they will be crated for their safety and my peace of mind. Dogs are worked mentally and physically during their stay through enrichment and treadmill and training, and must be polite or will learn to be polite to other dogs staying concurrently.

About: I have an immense love for animals of all shapes and sizes. Ive had pets my whole life. From cats to dogs to rats and to my current animals now. I have even helped a dog give birth to 4 beautiful puppies. I currently have a LGD dog, 1 cat that mostly is in my office and my amazing farm animals that i tend to daily. 1 horse, 3 goats and chickens! We are located just a ten minute drive from Lotus rafting, come drop off your animals before having fun! I work from home on my own schedule so im always free to leave and take care of the animals any time of the day. As well as take care of animals while working from home. I have 3 acres of land that is all fenced off as well as a fenced off front yard and backyard. I always have a friendly LGD that protects all the animals. I have a pet friendly home that has toys and a clean bed for whoever stays.

About: Hello, I am a patient and kind care provider for pets of all sizes, ages, and energy levels; including exotics and livestock. In addition to growing up on the Vargas Cattle Ranch in Fremont, California, I have many years experience as a foster pet mom and respite pet caregiver. My specialties are orphan care and special needs requiring medication and or specialized attention after surgery. I have occasionally provided respite to animal rescue homes with up to 15 animals when the proprietors are out of state on vacation. In addition, I scored a proficient level on "Indeed's" veterinarian technician assessment in the areas of knowledge of common medications, vaccines in medical tests as well as skill in addressing animals needs during treatment. I am also a retired certified nurse aide with first responder medical training, a safe driver with car insurance, and a trusted provider with a clean Federal back ground clearance as a Notary Public for the state of California. I serve all of Amador County. Although I would consider other counties on a case by case basis. I am a retired Health Care Provider with many years of Special Needs Pet Sitting experience and prefer to stay busy on my 3 acres of fenced in property. My pets and the pets that I host enjoy joining me on morning and afternoon walks on trails and playing fetch. I keep a close eye on them when we are outside. Then we all snuggle up on the couch and dog beds after meals while we watch a fun movie together.

I am energetic and adjust to every pet’s activity, while being cooperative and sensitive to any health issues. The health and safety of every pet is of utmost importance to me as well as their environment. I take every precaution to protect pets from harm including potential harm from other animals. Owners know I will follow their desires and instructions to the letter to make sure their animal is always treated with the same love and attention under my care. Whether it is a 30 minute walk or an extended house and dog care weekend or vacation your pet will enjoy all of their time with my services. My rates and availability are negotiable based on each customer’s situation. Unless otherwise agreed upon my normal rates for stays within 15 miles of Diamond Springs are: $40 for 1-3 pets per night for up to a 12 hour stay (for example from 7pm on a Friday to 7am Saturday morning) $50 for 1-3 pets for 12-18 hr overnight stay $60 for 1-3 pets for an 18-24 hour overnight stay Longer distances may affect rates. We can discuss your needs at a free Meet & Greet session or feel free to contact me for a quote or other information. I manage my own schedule and my priority is spending as much time as possible pet sitting and caring for animals. I think the more the merrier which is why I include up to 3 pets in my standard rates. Each pet is given their fair share of my attention and care. I think all pets deserve as much diversity and entertainment as is recommended for their breed or type so I strive to create safe activities and an environment that keeps them stimulated and happy.

About: Sara is your go to lady! She loves her dogs and understands their needs, going the extra mile such as providing some grooming along with ensuring your dog is receiving the care it needs. She will walk, play, and train your dog all at once. She also uses play to help train her dogs. Sara builds a report with her dogs and their owners, establishing a solid trust that is so important. She has been caring for her dogs for many years and is well known in the community, among friends and family as a dog lover! She is a registered nurse, caring for humans when not caring for dogs. She is available any time and at short notice. Very flexible and understands that things turn up last minute. She has excellent references available.

About: Owner Away? I’ll Sit and Stay. I am willing to take care of your dog at my house or yours and have been an avid lover of our furry friends for as long as I can remember. Besides caring for dogs, cats, birds, fish and gerbils of my own in the past, I have been declared the animal whisperer in my family. I am currently a third-year student studying to create prosthetics for animals at Cal Poly University and volunteer with Guide Dogs for the Blind as well as two other organizations that foster and rehouse animals to their furrrever homes. I would love nothing more than the opportunity to meet with you and your pet to give them the best level of care while you're away and to help you feel confident in trusting to leave your fur baby with me. I am currently taking this quarter off of school to focus on work and so I have quite a bit of free time as my job only requires that I work from home. That being said, whatever availability is required to fit your needs, that is a department I am more than flexible to appease. Ideally, I would like to offer care in the client's home, whether that be pet/house sitting or just walking the dog. In that situation, I would be more than happy to take care of upkeeping the household if need be (i.e. water plants, take out the trash, pick up the mail, etc.) I live in an apartment complex where smaller animals are allowed so depending on the client's case, I can try to accommodate housing arrangements in my home instead.

About: Your pups new bestie! I have had animals most of my life growing up since childhood and was raised with how to properly care for them. I also have a dog that I love so much! I thoroughly enjoy walks, runs, hikes, and playing with him. I am a big dog person! I currently work part time and am home most of the time. I’m usually home a lot as most of my work can be done from home. The flexibility is very nice and works perfectly with having dogs in our home! We currently have our own dog and so caring for yours will fit naturally into the flow we already have going! I have a fenced yard, where my pup and yours can play as much as they want! We have trails and parks near by for walks and runs, if you’d like for your pup to have exercise in those ways as well.
