“Ashley was a great dog walker! She took our brood of three doodles out on a long walk while we were away for the day. Wrangling three dogs is not an easy task and she made it look effortless. She sent along some videos along the way so we knew all was well! Highly recommend her!!!!”

“Kara was amazing when I needed a last minute dog walker. She came everyday on time and communicated when she picked Moose up and dropped him off. She even wrote notes about the walk! I could not have found a better/sweeter friend for Moose that week! Thank you Kara!”

About: I've have had dogs since I was a child. Most recently, I have retired and have plenty of time to provide care and attention to your pet as well as my 2 year old, Miniature Golden Doodle, Steve. I have a 1200 Sq Ft outdoor play space and an Indoor play space for rainy days. We walk, take adventures out on Leelanau County trails and beaches. Come play with us! I am recently retired. Love to be outdoors, active and full of adventure. I am open to flexible scheduling. I understand the busy pet owner challenges. I have an outdoor and indoor play space. I believe a happy pup is a busy pup. Walk my pet and yours everyday. In addition to my pup, I will only care for one additional pet. This allows me to give all of the love and attention needed for a happy and healthy pet.

About: I have dog sat for younger, older, and more hyper dogs. I have also done some cat sitting. I have no problem dealing with puppies too. I am out of school for summer so I have a lot of time on my hands. I’m available almost all points in the day. I am capable of keeping a dog on the leash or in a yard. I can also keep a dog in the crate if needed.

About: I cared for my cat for 22 long and precious years, through sickness and old age. I believe my level of care provided that longevity. I clean residential homes during the day, so most days I’m gone for 3-5 hours (starting around 10/11am). My schedule tends to be more flexible in the colder months. I prefer to care for your pets exactly as you would, making their separation from you as painless as possible. I would love detailed/clear instructions.

About: I have had dogs and some cats most of my life...i cannot see my life with out them...I love them all..I will love yours too.. I'm currently working full time but will be able to take care of your pets on the weekends and maybe other days.. We will work it out... I am not going to board right now. I do not have the room or the fenced in back yard or the time since I work full time...

“Jonathan. So professional efficient on time loving and gentle with our Jayda. Jonathan is my Number 1 choice in the future. It was a pleasure and also calming to know Jonathan was taking care of our baby!! He left us notes on their walk and how Jayda enjoyed them! Thank you Jonathan!”

About: I love dogs! have been dog mama to 3 labs and a little 6 pound rescue guy - currently can’t have my own so would love to fill my heart with your furry pal when you’re away. I’m very active so enjoy walking / hiking / running with a dog. I work very part time - remote- so my schedule is super flexible. Love to take on hikes at the park if they are other dog friendly.

About: I've had my dog business for 5+ years and I devote my time to special dogs during the day or on weekends. I cared for my two dogs until they passed away. Now I have time to devote to other dogs who need my support. I have time in my life to care for your lovely dogs, walking them during the week and watching them for overnights on the weekends As my yard is not fenced in, I prefer to go to clients home to help out. About: I have a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees named Nala, a sweet and loyal guard dog, so I have experience and comfort interacting with all sizes, big and small. I also have two boy cats, Widget and Panko, whom I adopted 8 years ago. I love animals! Over the years, my friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their pets (and home) whenever they're out of town. I work in the field of film, which is typically 3-4 projects a month, so I have pretty open availability for pet care in the days between. I like to ensure that both pets and pet parents feel taken care of, whatever is needed to feel comfort and trust and not have to worry about anything. Beyond the essential needs, I like to go above and beyond by including whatever unique interactions, games, treats, routines, training needs, or other fun things the pet(s) are engaging with at that time.

With this, I've had lots of experience with a variety of animals- from cats, dogs, horses, cattle, rabbits- you name the animal and I’ve worked with it. With this, I have multiple volunteer/work hours within different areas of animal healthcare within animal hospitals, clinics, and humane shelters to grow my knowledge. I’m fairly flexible, im living in the area this summer as I have an internship working at the Traverse City Horse Show. My cat travels with me everywhere I go, taking her with me on flights and moving between housing options.

Karen B.
“Karen is one of the only people I trust to take care of my two English bulldogs. Bulldogs are quite sensitive to heat, too much exertion and have many other medical oddities, creams and wipes - and Karen handles all of that in stride, bringing water and really listening to what the dogs need, responding to them in the moment. Whether it’s a quick lunchtime walk that turns in to a play time, Potty breaks or even the more adventurous trail exploration Karen has the stamina, attitude and spirit of adventure- That’s just what any dog needs. She also helps my heart by sending me lots of pictures when she is with my babies and I can’t be!”

Emily M.

“Emily was great! She took such good care of my pup! She was flexible when plans changed and was super responsive.”

“Shannon is incredible! She is super patient with our pup, who needs an extra minute to greet people. She also is great at keeping him entertained with good play for his rambunctious personality and gives him lots of exercise. She's very flexible with our schedule, trustworthy in our home, and always goes the extra mile. Sometimes I think our pup likes her more than us! I cannot recommend her enough!”

Lorretta R.
“I can't say enough great things about Lorretta and the care she provides for my dog. Like many pet owners, my dog means the world to me, and it takes a lot for me to trust someone with them. Lorretta cares for my dog as if he were her own. She is extremely professional, responsible, and caring. She is very flexible and reliable and has made my life much easier. It has been very simple to schedule with her, and she provides very personalized care- easy to reach and gives updates after her visits. It has been a pleasure having Lorretta care for our dog, I highly recommend Lorretta to anyone looking for a dog walking service.”

James C.
“This is the sitter you've been looking for full stop. When looking for someone to watch your precious pets, and likely be in your space, you need someone you fully trust. You want someone who is willing to go above and beyond if the need should arise. Fortunately for myself (and YOU), that person is James! James has cared for my 3 cats and German Shepherd dog multiple times. Those periods have been a short as a weekend, and as long as 2 weeks. Every time, not only are the pets happy as can be, but we received updates throughout and he took care to ensure no blemish was left on our house. James is incredibly responsible, a pet owner/lover himself, and has my full trust when taking care of my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top-notch pet sitter.”

Catherine J.

“Catherine was great. She was responsive and had clear communication about timelines. Brady loved her walks. Would book again!”

Sara Z.

“Sara was so great and helped me out last minute. She was very responsive and took great care of Archie.”
