About: I've had at least two dogs my entire life. I've cared for puppies through adult dogs. I have even cared for some with special needs. When your dog stays with me, you also get my whole family to care for them. I'm a stay at home mom and I have plenty of time to care for your baby. I can be with your dog at all times. I have a fenced in yard and three dogs who would love to play and snuggle. I will also walk your dog if you'd like.
About: I've taken care of my family dog for 6 years, and I also was entrusted with my friends and family's dogs since I was 9. Currently, I am doing volunteer work and shadowing physicians as I am home for the summer from college. I am available majority of the week and weekends. I make sure to let our animals have their separate spaces for when they are in need of a rest. They also have fulltime access to food and water, and I have a fenced in yard with enough room to run around. In a client's home I will make sure your pet has food, water, and a clean place to go to the bathroom. I will ensure they are mentally stimulated with plenty of play time and cuddle time.
About: Hi there! I’m Andrew—a lifelong animal lover with a big heart and an even bigger soft spot for furry friends. Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets my full attention throughout the day. I build in time for morning and evening walks, play sessions, feeding routines, and any special care your pet may need. Whether it’s a quick drop-in or extended sitting, I’m able to adapt my routine to fit your pet’s needs and keep them comfortable, happy, and loved. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I do everything I can to maintain their normal routine and create a stress-free environment. If I’m providing care in my own home (depending on the service), I offer a calm, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. I make sure pets are never left alone for long periods, and I keep a close eye on their behavior, comfort, and health throughout their stay. In both settings, communication is key—I’ll keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
“Parisa took great care of my German Shepard. She provided plenty of exercise for him in her shaded backyard. He came home worn out every day which tells me that he had a great day with her. She also provided daily photos and updates via text. She is friendly and loved our dog while he was in her care.”

“Joe and Laurie watched our 2-year old, Shih Poo and had a great time. We found Joe and Laurie on Rover as we were looking to establish a good relationship with a sitter for future times but most importantly before we go on vacation. We were sent multiple pictures and updates throughout the day and could tell our pup was having a great time. She went on walks, hung out outside, and relaxed. I was never worried throughout the day and would definitely recommend them to anyone.”

About: Your Pup's new bestie! You can trust your pup with this safe and caring dog lover ! I provide fun and cozy care for your furry friend while you're away. As a Leadership and Financial Coach who works from home, I've been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life. My own beloved dog, Kara, is part of my family—she enjoys a balanced meal of boiled turkey, sweet potatoes, and dry duck food, and we share daily walks in our safe, quiet neighborhood. Every afternoon at 5:00 PM, we take a special pause for fun playtime together. I live in a welcoming end-unit townhome that features a lovely yard and a private walkout basement with plenty of grassy space. You can trust that I will care for your pet with the same love, warmth, and dedication as I do for my own. Your pet will be treated like my own pet, i.e., allowed on the furniture and bed, unless they use a crate or they have a bed. I use a retractable leash with built-in flashlight, that includes a poo bag holder. Happy to give them a bath with sensitive skin dog shampoo. If they need a nail trim, just let me know, it's a little extra but worth it. If I missed something, just let me know, happy to accommodate as I can. If I am at your house, I will follow your instructions according to your needs while also doing the same above.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Olde West Chester
Melissa is amazing. She is always so kind and flexible with me and my pups. I know they love going over to her house as they start whining excitedly as soon as we pull on to her street. The last facility we used my girl was petrified and did not want to go in, now she runs straight to Melissa's front door. They feel safe and I don't have to worry because I know they are in good hands.

I am a new dog owner and this was my first time using Rover. We did two days of daycare and T was awesome with my puppydog!! Her resident pups treated my Chili Dog like their new bestie and made her feel right at home. She had so much fun and was super excited to see them again on day 2. I also received lots of pics of Chili playing with her new buddies throughout the day. I wouldn't hesitate to book T again to look after my Chili Dog next time we're visiting Kings Island! 🥰 10/10 experience

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
