About: I absolutely love cats and dogs. I grew up raising/training labs and German shepherds. I currently have 3 fur babies; my oldest shepherd is actually from my families last litter and our youngest shepherd is a rescue although you wouldn’t know it since they act like siblings. Our cat is also a rescue and prefers to stay out of sight from the dogs but is super friendly and talkative when he meets new people. I had a chocolate lab and took care of him until he was 14. (Diapers , shots, oral medication, you name it he and we probably went through it together) if you have a senior dog I am more than happy to help with any extra care that comes along. I’ve raised all my fur babies (with the exception of our cat) from the puppy stages to the elderly stages. I recently moved here and spend 24/7 with my fur babies so I figured why not spend time with more fur babies! I’m currently available Monday to Friday any time. We do allow the fur babies on the furniture and have a small patio that is fenced in so the dogs can go potty when it’s too hot to walk. We also have a small pool that we regularly set up for the dogs in the back so they can play outside in the heat (supervised). I take my dog on walks before the sun starts cooking us and when the sun goes down to stretch their legs. I can take the dogs to the park and play with them as well😊.

“Donna was fantastic with Tesse. She stayed with Tesse, in our home, for five days and Donna sent us daily photos and updates. She took her out daily and Tesse strongly bonded with Donna. Donna treated our home as her own and when we returned the home and dog were cleaner and happier than when we left. She also took care or our 30 year old water turtle and contacted us when “Leonardo”had an episode. I cannot imagine a better home pet sitter than Donna. About: I’m still quite new to this but I have a few munchkins of my own to know how to handle them. I’ve done some pet sitting when I was younger and found it to be a lot of fun. I want to be more active so walking your pets is perfect for us both! I’ve lived with animals my whole life so I have so much compassion for them. I have a lot of patience and love for them all. I would love for you to have trust in me to do my best for your pet. I know I have little experience but a lifetime of caring for animals; big and small. I am currently a part time server so my schedule is always changing, I mostly work nights most days. The days i’m off and available I’ll be able to be around as many hours as needed. Weekends are unsure depending on my schedule, if anything I’d be available in the mornings and late nights. I unfortunately can’t board any pets at my home. My own pets are all inside pet’s except my dogs of course, my dogs have a fenced in backyard and go on daily walks themselves. My pups are 4 years old but aren’t fully socialized to other dogs so I wouldn’t feel 100% safe to board pets at the moment. I also have cats, they are my personal favorite, all whom I’ve had for many years. What can I say i’m a animal person. I have a few exotic pets; a snake and two geckos who stay in cages!

“Don was great with both my dog, Neko, and my Cat, Teri. He sent videos regularly and keep me informed about Neko and especially how Teri were doing. Also, Don went out of his way to care for Teri, my cat. Teri has kidney disease and requires hydration with a saline solution every day. Don was wonderful with Teri by injecting the solution under his skin. This was accomplished by placing a needle under Teri's loose skin and slowly allowing the saline solution to flow under his skin. Don is very personable and I recommend him very highly for caring for your pet.”

I’m currently in vet tech school from 9am to 12pm, Monday through Thursday, so I plan the rest of my day—and weekends—around caring for animals. Whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or house sitting, I have open availability in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. Since I’m training to become a veterinary technician, I’m always looking for ways to build experience and spend more time with animals. Caring for pets outside of school feels natural to me, and I love giving them the attention, comfort, and care they deserve. I am completely comfortable to do drop ins or stay in your home with your pet while you are away and can give updates as often as needed. I am going to start school in the morning for veterinary technicians but I am available in the afternoons and weekends.
