About: Both of us grew up with pets in our homes; some of our fondest memories include time spent with our animals. Tristan has had dogs ranging from a little Chihuahua to a Great Dane, while Adeline had a series of high-energy mixes, as well as a couple mellow cats. We watched many of our friends' animals prior to adopting our pup George about a year ago, and have loved creating a forever home for him! We both are self-employed, and frequently work from home throughout the week. This flexibility allows us to be attentive with breaks and walks, and ensures that our pup and yours won't be left alone for too long each day. We have a fenced-in yard and live in a very walkable area near a park. We love to take walks and play with our dog, and will treat yours with the same amount of attention and care!

About: Hi, I’m Claire. I’m a lifelong animal lover, artist, and plant nursery owner based here in Twentynine Palms. I live out in Wonder Valley where I have a fenced yard with room to run, and a temperature controlled indoor area for dogs to hang out in. I’ve spent over 15 years dog walking and pet sitting, but my experience goes way beyond the standard routine. In 2018 I spent a summer living in a tent on the Denver Glacier above Skagway, Alaska, working as a dog handler and photographer for a sled dog expedition company geared towards providing excursions to cruise ship tourists. Managing teams of energetic Alaskan huskies in extreme weather taught me how to read canine body language instantly, manage energy levels, and keep anxious or excited dogs calm and safe. At home in the desert, I put that same deep understanding to use. I currently share my life with Gus (a mellow 6-year-old terrier mix) and Luna (a high-energy 2-year-old shepherd mix), and spent 14 beautiful years with my soul dog, Butters before he passed away at 17 in 2023. I’m just as comfortable with high-drive working breeds as I am with senior couch potatoes. Beyond dogs, I have extensive experience caring for cats, small mammals, reptiles, exotic birds, fish, and farm animals like chickens, goats, and rabbits. Because I run my own plant nursery and love household care, I'll keep your plants thriving and leave your home sparkling clean during any housesitting. I also have a degree in photography, so I like to try to capture some pet portraits of your fur family while you’re away! I’d love to chat about how I can help keep your pets safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Everything in my home and on my property is pet proofed to be completely safe - plants, food, medications, cosmetics, etc all are stored securely out of reach. In a client’s home I tend to play it safer with the furniture, unless I’m told they are allowed on it, I try to maintain the most well kept home and provide any exercise and entertainment outdoors, being mindful of the heat and keeping them hydrated during hotter seasons!

We go to the dog park every single day to play with all the other loving dogs. I’m currently working from home and am very flexible. About: Yes! I have base access! There’s nothing like the happiness pets bring into our lives! They’re always there for us, and they ask so little of us in return. Our pets have an amazing, giving spirit, and it’s definitely their selflessness that inspired me to become a pet sitter! I believe that animals need just as much love as we do, so I want to put a smile on as many faces as I possibly can. Not to mention, I love that I can give back to my community at the same time by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pet! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new clients! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! When your pet is in my care, I’ll always send tons of updates along so you can be in the loop on everything we’ve done during the day. I’m happy to send detailed information on anything that you need to know just how they’re doing—from behaviors to exercise times to meal prep. Likewise, those updates will always have accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pet and I are having together! I’m also very easy to get in touch with, so I’ll always be on call in case you have any questions or concerns. I’m available for drop ins, walks and short overnights. I am finishing my Masters degree in Education with an emphasis in social & emotional learning currently and tend to be pretty flexible overall, if you have a question send a message! While booking overnights at least a week in advance emergency or last minute drop-ins or walks can typically be accommodated. I try to respond as quickly as possible. I do drop in visits to your home and follow all instructions left. Times and expectations are agreed upon before arrival. I can let pets outside to use the restroom, feed them, give medication etc just ask! I also had a diabetic cat so I can perform injections if needed.

I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! Whether you have an easy to handle pet or one that is a little more difficult. I have the experience and patience for it all. Currently, I work from home. I also clean houses. My schedule is never really set in stone so I’m very flexible . I am also able to do same day sometimes depending on what I have going on that day! I will not just be checking in on your pet ! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.
