“Ashley is a compassionate, calm pet sitter. I scheduled a meet and greet with my dog Piper ahead of day care date. We were greeted warmly and Piper enthusiastically explored her peaceful, pet safe yard. Piper was eager to return for her day of fun, and loved her 3 walks and frisbee play. Thank you, Ashley!”

“I was so touched by how Tiffany greeted my gentle dog and me outside her home--so warm and welcoming. She clearly has a natural way with dogs. Tiffany was great with prompt communication after I requested dog sitting. After I dropped Rocky off, she let me know that she would send me photos of Rocky throughout the day, but that she didn't expect/require reply. As promised, she soon sent lots of photos and delightful texts to let me know how Rocky was doing, including playing in the yard with her dogs, and then enjoying a nap. I felt very comfortable leaving Rocky with Tiffany, and I feel grateful to have met her. I definitely will book with her again! Thank you, Tiffany, for being such a loving sitter and for generously and graciously opening your home!”

“Sarah and Matt are a great match for our little pooch who gets overwhelmed by high energy and large dogs. They are thoughtful, compassionate, and great communicators.”

About: With over five years of hands-on experience as a veterinary technician, caring for animals is a passion. I’ve worked extensively with anxious, fearful, and/or reactive dogs and cats. I’m confident reading body language, building trust, and creating a calm, low-stress environment where animals feel safe. My schedule is fairly open and flexible while I navigate a career shift and going back to school. For "day-care", the house is 2 stories (the upstairs is typically blocked off to new furry friends). The house is on a gated, landscaped 1.12-acre lot, with plenty of room for zoomies. Dogs can be inside or outside (if I am home, I will often keep back door open for them to go in/out). I do not typically leave dogs alone, but if applicable, I prefer dogs to be kennel trained. I do have a large kennel in-house that can be used. There is 1 indoor/outdoor cat that lives downstairs (he is a passive, fearful guy) and 3 indoor only cats that live separately upstairs (visiting dogs have potential interaction with 1 cat). Both of my dogs (Ruby and Peter) are sweet, friendly, and welcoming :) I’m well-versed in basic dog training (ie. puppy crate training, basic obedience) and am a confident, educated handler. I also have resources for trainer referrals if need ;) I prioritize positive reinforcement and enriching activities - I always want dogs feel secure. My medical background means your pet is in knowledgeable, capable hands. I’m comfortable administering medications — including injections for dogs and cats — monitoring for subtle health changes and supporting pets with special medical or behavioral needs. I pay close attention to the small details, because often those are the ones that matter most.
“I couldn't have been more pleased with Julie! This was my 1st rover experience and I was a bit nervous. When my anxious pup took to her and her home pretty immediately, I relaxed and was able to enjoy some alone time by the pool on my "solo" birthday vacation. Julie is a gem!”

“Robin was very nice, from start to end. Found her walking her dog as I was arriving to drop off our dog. She was very caring and sent a few updates and pictures throughout the day. I was very comfortable leaving our dog with Robin for the day, we recommend!”

About: Spa Le Chien is specially tailored to your dog's needs while you are away from OR visiting California's Wine Country. I strive to make the experience unforgettable for your precious family member. I have been pampering pooches in my well-appointed modular house, located in a bucolic 55+ senior park in the charming village of Sonoma, for almost fifteen years. As a rule I only care for a single K9 at a time, so I can give it my full, undivided attention. There may occasionally be overlap between clients but rarely more than a single day or night. Safety is my first priority. Cleanliness, exercise, feeding and entertainment are our focus. I tend to work with small, older dogs and have helped elderly and infirm ones, too. But I am open to all types. I consult thoroughly with owners about their requirements before embarking on any regimen. I have never had a dissatisfied client...dogs love it here!
About: We have both grown up with dogs, having trained puppies into adulthood, and having senior dogs. We were so excited when we got our fur baby Sugar together last year! We call her our dog-ter and she makes us laugh every day! We did a lot of training with Napa Humane for support through puppyhood and learned so much! We love dogs and we will treat yours as our own. It would be our pleasure to watch your fur baby while you wine taste! We’ve lived in Napa for four years and can also provide recommendations about our favorite spots! We both work from home so your pup will get plenty of attention! We will only book services when one of us is working from home. And your dog will always have entertainment with Sugar. Our house is dog-friendly! We have a fenced in yard and live very close to the park. We joke this is Sugar‘s house. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and we have many dog beds around.
“Tammy was very responsive, which was great when trying to make arrangements. Our dog seemed to be well taken care of and found a fun playmate in her dog, Griffin. Her home has lots of space inside and out for the dogs to play. We definitely recommend Tammy's sitter services!”

About: I have over 20 years of experience owning and caring for friend’s dogs and cats. I have cared for senior animals and ones with medical needs as well. I work fully remote, so lots of attention and activity are on the board! We go on a couple walks a day and there is a dog social in my neighborhood if you are amenable to that. I have a dog and cat at home and they are used to other animals in their space and share it well. I follow detailed instructions well.
