“Sarah has been walking my dog and 3 different foster dogs over the last (almost) year and I would be completely lost without her. It’s hard to find someone who is experienced with a strong & reactive dog that I can trust. She’s experienced in reactive dogs, is patient, and incredibly flexible with all the different dogs and scenarios and my lack of memory that I have thrown at her. She also follows any training I’m working on at the time in order to remain consistent to our dog. I can’t recommend her enough and my dog(s) are obsessed with her.”

“Frankie goes above and beyond when carrying for my fur babies. I was out of town when Frankie came to care for my dogs and not only were my dogs completely taken care of, but Frankie also made sure my house was secured after each visit. I was always well informed of my dogs care and needs after each house visit / dog walk. Frankie followed all of my directions completely and even applied hotshot spray to my dogs backs because of their seasonal allergies. While I was away on travel, I had absolutely no worries about my fur babies! Frankie will always be my number 1 choice for dog walking and house visits!”

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

While I’m currently a full-time college student at Samford University, during the summer months when school is not in session, I find myself having more free-time than usual to care for pets I have a large fenced in backyard and only two cats inside the home. I make sure that the pets that I care for have enough space of their own but are also attended to closely.

Throughout the day, I ensure they receive attention, exercise, and companionship tailored to their needs. For cats, this means interactive play and quiet moments of bonding. For dogs, it includes, play sessions, and cuddles. Since I work with a flexible schedule, I can dedicate quality time to every pet in my care, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and at ease. Whether it’s a daily check-in, an overnight stay, or extended care, pet well-being is always my top priority. Your fur baby will always be treated like family. I understand the importance of trust and communication, so I provide regular updates, photos, and videos to keep pet parents reassured.

“Abbie is absolutely amazing! I can not thank her or sing her praises enough for how much she has helped me out with Black. She is always quick to respond and confirm a walk even if it’s last minute which really puts me at ease. She spends extra time with him and really takes care of him as if he were her own. She even spent two hours trying to remove a tick, driving him to the emergency vet and back home one afternoon. I can not thank her enough for being such a kind, reliable, awesome dog walker!! Abbie is the best!!”

My husband and I have two dogs, Maki (Brindle Belgian Malinois mix) & Turbo (American Staffordshire Terrier/Black Lab mix) who are sweet, goofy, smart babies. Totally spoiled! Many of the pet pics are with my husband, Joe, bc I never get good ones of myself apparently ha. Not only did I grow up in a pet loving family that allowed me to get to know and love many different breeds and types of fur babies, but I have been trusted to pet sit by friends, neighbors, and relatives many many times over the years. Several of the photos up are of foster pups and of some I’ve rescued. Some of my skills include potty training, social training, aggression correction with puppies, recognizing early illness symptoms and care. I’m trained to watch, recommend and act when medical treatment is needed. I also have experience administering oral, topical, and injectable medications with dogs and cats. I live in a neighborhood perfect for walking your pup. I also enjoy hiking the trails at ruffner mountain.
