About: I grew up on a 25 acre cow farm. As a child I had every pet imaginable. As a mother I allowed my children to experience owning pets. My 2 youngest grown children have dogs and they are my grand dogs lol. We are a horse family. I have a degree in education and have been a teacher for ever. If I can be trusted with children then you can certainly trust me with you pets. I currently don’t have any pets due to where I live. The landlord is strict on the no pets policy. I know it’s a bummer 👎 All my children are grown so I have evenings and weekends free 👍 I know pets can be considered as a family member so I will take care of them as if they are my own children. I will provide plenty of extra love and kisses.

We sadly loss our Koda in May 2023 - Have owned four cats and several dogs. I have Saturdays and Sundays off, and occasionally Fridays. Sophie works 2pm to 10pm a few days a week, her schedule is different every week. Since our schedules are opposite and Sophie has a bit more free time, one of us is always available to spend a good amount of time with your pet. The first thing we do when taking care of our own pets, or others pets, is let them out to go to the bathroom. Next, we prioritize feeding and medicating (if necessary) and cleaning and refilling all water bowls. Once everything important is taken care of, we then spend quality time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, cuddling or going for a walk. Before we leave, we make sure we let them back outside for a good while to make sure they take care of all of their business.

After many years in retail and then the lumber industry, I have decided to work for myself and advance in pet care where I truly thrive. From mice to horses I've done it all! Pet care has now become my full-time job and will remain that way as long as business keeps coming. I am very dedicated because I want to continue working with animals, which is my true passion. Currently I have five very sociable dogs who love making new friends. They vary in age, so it's a great environment for young dogs to socialize. I also have 13 chickens who are used to our dogs and are always willing to meet new ones, and lastly we have one cat who tends to do her own thing. My backyard is not fenced however I have multiple runs set up for dogs who are not recall trained, but we do have a fenced in deck around our pool where the dogs have free reign.
