About: I grew up on a 25 acre cow farm. As a child I had every pet imaginable. As a mother I allowed my children to experience owning pets. My 2 youngest grown children have dogs and they are my grand dogs lol. We are a horse family. I have a degree in education and have been a teacher for ever. If I can be trusted with children then you can certainly trust me with you pets. I currently don’t have any pets due to where I live. The landlord is strict on the no pets policy. I know it’s a bummer 👎 All my children are grown so I have evenings and weekends free 👍 I know pets can be considered as a family member so I will take care of them as if they are my own children. I will provide plenty of extra love and kisses.

About: I’ve taken care of many different animals. Cats, dogs, lizards: you name it! I’m experienced with big dogs who have lots of personality, as well as cats who can be skiddish and shy. I also have a cat and dog of my own, and have experience with administering medication for all your pet’s needs! I’m available for you and your pet when you need me. My schedule is very flexible, and we can always talk about what times work best for you and your pet’s needs. I am well-versed in the animal language. Having many pets of my own and other experiences with animals, I can understand exactly what your pet needs. I am a fun loving person that has lots of love and comfort for your animal!

About: I don't have any pets myself, but I have lots of experience with them! I used to have chickens for several years, and I've also worked with horses as well. I gained a lot of experience working in a dog kennel, and became very comfortable with all different breeds and temperaments of both dogs and cats. I also have occasionally house sat for friends and family over the years and have taken care of several senior dogs. I love caring for animals and making sure they get the love and attention they deserve, so I can't wait to take care of your pet! Please be advised if your pet cannot be alone for more than just a few hours, I still work a full time job, so some days I might be working an 8 hour shift. My schedule changes week to week, so some days I might be able to stay with your pet the entire day but that will depend on my work schedule. Currently I am not able to care for any pets in my own home, but I very flexible and can care for your animals however you wish in your home.

About: I love working with animals, I even work at an animal hospital and I am with pets all day long! I love pet sitting and watching out for your pet! Anything you need I am willing to do it all! I have a lot of practice in the field and even own my own pets. I have a cat and 2 dogs. I have pet sat for other animals in the past and love what I do. I work at an animal hospital but am off during weekends. So I am used to dogs and cats all day long. I am able to administer medication and fluids to senior dogs or even dogs that need it for allergies, aniexty, etc. feeding and walks are always done in timely manner and multiple times if needed.

About: I grew up taking care of pets at home, and even the neighbors! That includes dogs, cats, lizards, frogs, chinchillas, fish, hamsters, all different types! I’m currently an online student so I have a very flexible schedule! I was recommended to rover through a friend and I thought it would be perfect for my schedule especially for people who need a last minute sitter/ walker! I love going on walks and will be happy to take your pet for a long walk if wanted! I also like to spend lots of play time with pets.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have cared for pets of my own/family owned pets since I was a teenager, including turtles, cats, dogs, hamsters, and even rats. I attempted fostering dogs but fell in love with my first foster and ended up adopting him 🤣❤️🐶 I’ve had experience caring for animals of all ages, from young to old, tiny to large. Love them all! Taking shelter dogs for a “dogs day out” has been one of my favorite activities recently. This activity allows me to take a dog from BARCS out for the day hiking, socializing, and getting them seen by possible adopters! Recently gained experience caring for dogs with medical conditions, including diet restrictions, medication administration, and managing feeding tubes. I’m currently working as a RN 3days a week. I only schedule services on days that I am not working in order to devote all my time and attention to your pets I have experience caring for older and younger pets, medication administration, separation anxiety, high to low energy pets. My basic philosophy is to treat every pet the way I would want my own treated!

When I begged my mom at 12, and got my own dog, my mom told me I would have to do the work, and my mother doesn’t play. I did the work, trained my puppy to use one side of the yard for potty. She was trained so well, she could be walked off leash, and always responded. My dog had allergy problems, at age 12 I gave my dog allergy shots. As an adult, I lived in apartments, and cats suited my life better. I babysat a few cats, one for a month, and then adopted my first cat. Another cat came for a home to my back door. Both of my cats were raised with 3 kids, harmoniously. My schedule is open, whether you need play and activity for your pets, check-ins, or overnights. Mornings, nights, or weekends, I’m here to help your family! My goal caring for your babies, in their homes, is to keep their lives as stable and consistent as possible. I know how important keeping your fur family’s lives as regular as possible is, when you can’t be there. I love your advice on the details of what your baby/babies wants and needs when you can’t be there.

About: Hi there! My name is Jamiah, but feel free to call me by my nickname, Mia! I started building my pet care business in 2017. Now in 2025, I work at a non profit as a Communications & Marketing Specialist. While I took time away from Rover to start my career, my heart is calling me back to my ultimate passion-providing high quality care and comfort for all furry friends, while meeting fantastic like-minded people along the way! My love for all animals is deeply immense. Thanks to my mother-I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, as well as birds! And I was encouraged to always look out for animals and even saved a pregnant cat and raised a litter of kittens when I was 10 (I will share that story when we have the pleasure of meeting). With the animal lover trait being instilled in me, I take the utmost pride in being selected to look after yours. I currently have 1 dog (german shepherd) and 1 cat! I also take care of my mom’s dog (shepherd mix). I attended Conrad Schools of Science and chose the Animal Science career pathway for 3 years. Those 3 years provided me with the basic knowledge about all barn animals and pets. This experience enabled my passion for helping animals no matter how large or small. I’ve always taken the opportunity to volunteer and give back to shelters who need support. Faithful Friends became my home for a few summers as I walked dogs and cleaned countless litter pans. About: I specialize with big dogs and elderly dogs. I'm a taller guy with a longer walking stride so larger dogs can get more for workout. My schedule is daily throughout the whole day. I normally like to plan 24 hours in advance but if my schedule is open I don't mind same day or last minute. Tuesday -Thursday from 11am-3pm I am not available I currently have no pets right now at my home I do have a rather large backyard. At the parents home, I do make sure that the pets are well fed and hydrated before leaving unless otherwise told. Disclaimer: If there issues at the home during my time at your residence and not disclosed before booking such as but not limited to: proper running water, working AC/HEAT, controlled pest infestation, power outage, violent pet(s), unsanitary conditions, health concerns without proper insurance you will liable for the vet bill and transportation cost or all day 24 hour care with a pet(s) that can not be alone for 3-4 hours than will incur with an extra inconvenience charge of $100 or more and/or cancellation with the help of Rovers support team.

I have a wonderful Standard Poodle named Stormi Bless. Caring for pets is my part-time job while I’m also pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. About: I'm so in love with all types of animals! I've use to go on house sitting jobs with a close friend which led to me falling in love with the job! Just bonding with the dog or cat by feeding, bathing and snuggling really makes my heart warm! My schedule is flexible outside of animal care I'm a freelance artist. I don't get extremely busy and most of the artistic things can be done from home. I prefer house sitting at the dogs/cats original home so they don't feel out of place. When walking the dogs I will find the safest/peaceful route to a nearby park with other animals so they will be able to play with others or just enjoy themselves. I always carry a care bag for each pet that consists of first aid, water, poop bags, and etc. most importantly I will listen to your pet and use the routines you have set in place. pets have no problem expressing how they feel or what they would want to do for the day.
