About: Dogs have been a part of our hearts and lives for as long as we can remember. My husband began breeding, training, and raising Labrador Retrievers during college, and when he moved here, his beloved Labs came with him. They were cherished members of our family until they passed at the incredible ages of 15 and 17. A year into our relationship, he gave me a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel for Valentine’s Day—and that’s when my love affair with Cavaliers truly began. That special gift opened the door to a lifelong passion for this sweet and gentle breed. We are proud foster parents with the Tennessee chapter of Cavalier Rescue USA, where we welcome dogs from all backgrounds into our home. We care for them, nurture them, and help them transition into the loving “furever” homes they deserve. In addition to fostering, we’ve volunteered with the Nashville Humane Association, participating in their “Doggie Day Out” program, which gives shelter dogs a much-needed break from the stress of kennel life. Taking them out for adventures and social time not only lifts their spirits but helps them connect with potential adopters. We’ve always loved dogs of all breeds, they hold a special place in our hearts, each with their own unique personalities. Over the years, we’ve also helped care for the pets of friends and family while they’re away—whether it’s a weekend trip or a longer vacation. With all this experience and love in our hearts, we thought: why not open our home to others who need trusted, loving care for their dogs? Our dogs are our kids. We cherish every moment with them, and we promise to treat your furbabies with the same love and attention as if they were our own. When your pup is with us, you can rest easy knowing they’re safe, happy, and surrounded by people who truly care. My husband works from home full time, so there’s always someone here to provide attention, care, and company throughout the day. I work weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and together, we make sure every pup is loved, played with, and well cared for. We love relaxing outside while the pups play in our fully fenced, spacious backyard—there’s plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore! We have two friendly dogs of our own to keep your pup company, and if your dog needs a break or their own space, we’re happy to crate them upon request. You can take comfort in knowing your furbabies will be safe with us and get lots of snuggle time!

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I work from home 8–5 and would love to welcome one dog into my daily routine for daycare. I recently lost my two senior dogs after 14 wonderful years, and I miss the joy of having a furry friend by my side. I have years of experience as a dedicated pet parent and am comfortable with pets who need a little extra care, whether it’s giving medication, managing special diets, or providing extra patience for senior pups. Your dog will enjoy lots of attention, walks during the day, and a calm, safe environment while you’re away. Because I only take one dog at a time, your pup will get all the love and care they deserve. Think of me as your dog’s second home during the workday! I am available to watch your pet from the hours of 8am to 5pm. I can take them out for all the potty breaks needed. As many breaks as I want to play and snuggle! I also get an hour lunch break everyday for walks! I do NOT have a fenced in back yard so I would need to take your dog out on a leash. I prefer your dog have a harness for extra security.

“Morgan is incredible - amazing, kind, patient, trusting and reliable! We just got a new puppy who is not yet trained and she’s so wonderful with him. My husband and I highly recommend and truly appreciate her! Thank you :)”

“I love how Jamie keeps me updated on how my baby is doing and what she’s doing. She answers her messages quickly which is a plus for me. My dog felt very comfortable with her she knows when she’s going to her house she gets excited in the car on the way there. I am very appreciative of Jamie keeping my baby. Jamie is someone that you can really trust to watch your fur baby. Jamie is very sweet and calm with my baby, I will always trust her to watch my baby and I don’t trust a lot of people watching her at all.”

About: Hi, I’m Brandy. Thanks for stopping by! I am happy to say I’ve achieved star sitter status because I am reliable, professional, friendly, caring and love what I do! I’ve been caring for pets on Rover for 6 years, but really, animals have been part of my whole life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, and bunnies, and I’ve loved and cared for everything from tiny puppies to sweet senior pets. I’m patient, gentle, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, a walk, or just keeping them company, my goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’d love to meet your fur baby. ❤️ Boarding, walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays — I’ll treat your fur baby like my own and keep them happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I work a few different gigs, which means my schedule is flexible and I can be there when your pet needs me. Having animals around always brightens my day, and I love giving them the consistent care, attention, and love they deserve. Whether you need boarding in my home, overnight stays at yours, drop-in visits for feeding and playtime, or daily walks, I’m happy to help. I can keep your pet company while you’re away, make sure they get their exercise, and give them all the snuggles they want. Reach out to set up a meet & greet — I’d love to see if we’re the perfect match for you and your fur baby. ❤️ In my home, pets have a safe, cozy space where they can relax and feel comfortable. I keep their routine as close to what they’re used to as possible — from feeding times to playtime so they feel secure. I make sure the environment is clean, pet-friendly, and free of anything that could be harmful. In a client’s home, I respect your space and follow all instructions to the letter. I keep doors and gates secure, make sure pets are never left unsupervised in unsafe areas, and always use a leash when outside. I also keep your home clean and neat, leaving it the way I found it or even better. My priority is making sure your pet is safe, happy, and cared for just like you would care for them yourself. ❤️

About: I have owned and cared for animals most of my adult life! Mostly dogs and cats, but a few rabbits, fish, and other oddities here and there (no snakes though!). Pets are my passion! I never had children of my own, so fur babies ARE my kids! Recently, I helped my baby girl, Dollie, deliver her first litter of Shih-tzu puppies. They are PRECIOUS and raising them was one of the biggest joys of my life so far! Prior to getting Dollie and Porter (yes, they are named after Dolly Parton and Porter Waggoner), I rescued a Shih-tzu named Nash and had him for 11 awesome years. He had a lot of medical issues, including surviving cancer twice, so I am also well-versed in caring for senior dogs and giving them medication, feeding special foods, etc. Additionally, my friends and family don't hesitate to call on me when they need help caring for their four-legged friends. I have two precious Shih-tzus as noted in my "Pet care experience" and am able to devote extra time to them because I currently work from home. That also means I have great flexibility to help care for your fur babies! I have a fully fenced-in yard where your pup(s) can run and play. My two Shih-tzus are also friendly and love to play and keep their four-legged friends company. I can also crate your pup if you or it prefer.

About: I've been taking care of our dogs and cats for over 50 years. We've had as many as 5 dogs and 3 cats at one time, all Rescue-all sizes and temperaments and living in our house. I walk the dogs most mornings and play with them in our fenced in backyard. We both volunteered at a Cat Rescue in Nashville for over a year. Mostly handling 30-40 kittens with feeding, cleaning & watering, but also some adult cats and general cleaning of the facility. We've Adopted many "Rescue" dogs/cats over the years and have Fostered several dogs. In addition we've donated our time/money to many of these organizations. Nashville Pittie, Clk/Mont County Humane Society, Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue, True Rescue in Nashville, etc. I love dogs and cats and hope to spend my free time with them! I'm retired, so I am available except for occasional appointments or activities. But, I can work around my schedule. My wife is also retired, and she will be help out when I'm not available. I am the Primary. Between each of us we can cover 24/7 needs. We've got a fenced in backyard for the dogs to Potty and Play in. I clean up after our dogs multiple times/day. We've also got an upstairs apartment with a separate entrance for Boarding. We've kept our Granddogs multiple times over the years and they needed to be separate from ours. I am able to spend time upstairs in the apartment and spend the night with them. If they get along with other dogs and want playmates we are happy to have them join our crew for either playtime or staying full time with us.

About: I have owned and cared for animals since I can remember! I can provide not only just walks for your dogs but because I workout 5-6 times a week i can help them get in shape too! Playing fetch is a great way to exercise ! Currently my Labrador Mac joins me on early morning strolls (sometimes runs) and accompany me during my studies to be a Veterinary Assistant. Learning how to properly care for animals is something I am so lucky to get to do everyday. I am excited to meet and care for your babies as if they were my own and look forward to seeing you all soon! I am a pet services owner and operator and my schedule is highly flexible! Caring for your pets is an added joy to my day and week! All the best for your in home care! Large bowls of cold water, special treats, lots of belly rubs and indoor-outdoor play! WagginTails is a must 😉

Leah & Wesley B.
“Leah fostered our Charlie before we got him, and we saw how much love she showed him when we first met her. She'd offered to watch him, and we've taken her up on it twice, both for weeklong vacations. We were afraid Charlie wouldn't want to come home because it was obvious how much fun he was having with his old pals, Aubie and Willow. Every day she sent us pictures and we could tell it was like he was going away to summer camp. We felt so comfortable knowing what a loving home he was in and that he was getting as much attention as if we were the ones with him. I highly recommend Leah as a pet sitter.”

Alexandria S.

“They are the best in every way possible. I never worry about my dog with them. My dog is always happy to be at their house and always good and tired when she gets home.”

Sarah J.
“Most dog sitters? Oh, they’re cute. They’ll feed your dog, maybe give it a pat, and call it a day. Some will forget their water bowls exist. Then there’s Sarah J. She’s a legend. Her dogs had beds in every room, rode in dog baskets in the car like little VIPs, lounged on cooling pads in summer, and curled up on heated pads in winter. Meanwhile, other sitters’ idea of luxury is…a blanket on the floor. Sarah has also handled every special need imaginable—seizures, anxiety disorders, hearing or sight issues, heart disease, glaucoma etc. If your dog needs their daily dose, she is experienced administering meds to even the most hesitant pup. And can we talk about her house? Cleaner than most doctors offices, but somehow comfy cosy at the same time. If you want someone who actually loves dogs and knows what they’re doing, you found her. Life is full of hard decisions with disappointing outcomes. Let me help you make an easy one. Choose Sarah. You’ll thank me later.”

“Brandy stayed in my apartment and watched my dog, Atlas, for 10 days while I was on vacation visiting my family in November 2023. She did an amazing job making sure Atlas was well taken care of, including following his strict dietary restraints and making sure he had his daily allergy pill. She messaged me daily with updates and photos on how Atlas was doing, which was comforting. She also went above and beyond to make sure my apartment was clean when I returned! I would highly recommend using Brandy to watch your pets! :)”

Clarisse G.
“Clarisse is great with dogs. She has taken great care of my sister's pug and they're in love with her after one day. She's also great with her dog who is very sweet.”

“Emily is fantastic! She communicated before and during my dog's stay with her. She sent pictures throughout the day as well. We will definitely book with her again!!”

Mistie L.
“Let me begin by saying that my dogs are my children and I treat them as such! I am very critical of who I allow to care for them. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend Mistie. She treats my dogs as if they were her own. She is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond. My dogs adore her and that means everything to me. The peace of mind in knowing that my dogs are well cared for is priceless.”

Patrick & Chris S.
“I can confidently say that pets absolutely love Patrick—and the feeling is mutual! He's responsible, attentive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. Whether it's a long walk, playtime, or snuggles on the couch, Patrick goes above and beyond to make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. If you're looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for your furry friend, Patrick is the perfect choice. I highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet caregiver on Rover.”

Brittany G.
“I highly recommend Brittany as a pet sitter. I have two older dachshunds and a lab with tons of energy. She’s always willing to throw the ball for the lab and even helps my 15 year old dachshund down the steps. I have special instructions for my dogs regarding food since one has allergies and she is always mindful of their specific needs. She’s always my first call when I need pet help.”
