About: Throughout my life I've grown up around and cared for many dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I've also had the wonderful opportunity to participate in my high school's doggie daycare, where we walked, played, and provided grooming services to dogs. My lifelong love for animals has led me to become a student at Texas A&M majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries, and for my freshman year I was a member of a service dog training organization called Patriot Paws. Currently I'm volunteering weekly at a wolfdog sanctuary where I clean enclosures and care for the wolfdogs that reside there! My availability should be accurately reflected on my calendar. Im usually available all times of day and any day of the week. I prefer at least 2 days notice for a booking. When caring for pets, I'll try to care for them in the same way they're used to when their owners are home. If there's any specifications for feeding, walking, etc. I'll follow it as close as I can.
About: Hi I'm Liz! I am 26 years old and a certified pet lover. I've always had a soft spot for pets and adore getting to know all their personalities, whether your pet is a couch potato, playful puppy, or an adorable senior, I'm all for it. I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past as well as owned dogs/cats for as long as I can remember. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone who is patient, kind, and most of all CAREFUL; so I'm here to ensure your pets get all the care, cuddles, and kindness our faithful companies deserve. Expect lots of love and lots of picture updates!!! Right now, I mainly focus on work while I’m away from home, but I have flexibility in my schedule for routine walks, drop-in visits, or check-ins while you’re on vacation (or simply need a night to yourself!) 🐾 My schedule can vary, and I understand life can get chaotic, too. I’m happy to work around your needs whenever I’m available. Rover is also a fun way for me to stay active, get some fresh air, and take a little mental break by spending time with some precious pets! Safety and caution are incredibly important to me when caring for my own pets and yours. A careless sitter can affect more than just your day—your pet is family. I’ll treat them with the same patience, attention, and care I’d want for my own, while respecting your home, routines, and instructions.
About: I’ve grown up with animals since I was a newborn. My first dog was with me for 16 years of my life. I have loved animals since I was able to walk and talk, that I swear I could actually talk to them, of course that’s when I was younger. I have had dogs my entire life, from a shitzu to a Rottweiler. Animals hold a special place in my heart, as they bring so much joy and an abundance of love. I work from 11:30am-8pm 4 days out of the week, I am off Wednesdays and Sunday, and I work 8am-5pm Saturdays. I am easily flexible during a lunch hour to make a stop to see the fur baby, or after and before work. If there are specific rules in your home for your dog, such as no getting on the couch, or certain areas in the house that cannot be accessed by the pet, will be maintained. I do also clean up any fur in areas the pet has been in. I know dogs shed a lot, and I love a clean home just as much as anyone else. I do clean up any water the pet might has tracked, as well as any accidents that may have occurred prior to my arrival. If allowed, I will bathe the pet in the home, should any accident had occurred. I also do not mind bathing the pet if the homeowner does not have time, or cannot do it for health issues. Updates will constantly be made, such as when they have been fed, when they were last out as well as pictures will be sent. Before arriving and departing, I will ask of specification or things that owner would like me to complete while I am there.
About: What sets me apart is that I’m patient, responsible, and genuinely love spending time with animals. I had both cats and dogs my entire like and I’m comfortable caring for both energetic young pets and senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra patience, or more frequent attention. I’m also happy to follow specific feeding, walking, medication, or training routines to help pets feel comfortable while their parent is away. I am currently a student at Sam Houston State University, studying Kinesiology (Pre-PT), so my schedule can be a little hectic. My availability is not always completely accurate, but if you get in contact with me we can work something out! I am super laid back and love to just spend time laying around, but I can also get up and moving if your pet is high energy.
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was always responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking my family's pets. I am also a student majoring in pre-veterinary medicine and hoping to become a veterinarian. I love all animals deeply and strive to make every dog that comes under my care feel loved and wanted. I have a gentle nature, and I am very patient with animals. If you have a rowdy pup, that is no problem! My schedule is relatively open, except when I have classes. Currently, my schedule is Monday: Unavailable Tuesday: Available after 10:45 am Wednesday: Unavailable Thursday: Available after 10:45 am Friday: Available after 10:50 am Saturday and Sunday: Open availability I am able to come and stay in your home, as well as check in on your pup every 2-4 hours to ensure everything is okay. I am a night owl, so late-night check-ups are no problem for me either! I try to keep the environment as close to your routine as possible. Ensuring your pup's comfort is my top priority, so everything will remain as is. As long as I am shown the ropes on how everything is maintained, then you can trust that everything will remain the same as when you left it. I will also provide frequent updates and contact you in the event of an emergency.
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Emily! She took such amazing care of our sweet Ozzy while we were away at the Renaissance Festival last weekend! 🐾❤️ She was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. She kept us updated on how Ozzy was doing and sent lots of pictures throughout his stay, which meant so much to us! It gave me such peace of mind knowing our boy was in such loving hands while we were away enjoying ourselves. You can tell Emily genuinely cares about the animals she looks after, and that makes all the difference! I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to love on their fur babies! Thank you so much, Emily, for taking such wonderful care of our Ozzy! We truly appreciate you! ❤️🐶”

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
