About: I grew up on a farm taking care of countless animals! I know every pet has specific needs and silly personalities to adjust to. I have been loving and caring for animals my entire life and I would be so excited to take care of your baby. The most amount of dogs I have cared for at once is 16! This isn’t my first rodeo and I’m 100% down to do whatever it takes for your baby to feel comfortable and content. I am a student at SHSU! I have a mostly flexible schedule- please feel free to ask questions! MWF: Available after 10 AM T, TH: Available after 5 PM Weekends: Open! I will be incredibly respectful to you and your baby, whether this is in your home, my home, or on the sidewalk :) I am skilled at leash control and will use a double leash if wanted. I will ensure that your baby is never left unattended or unsupervised. I am completely knowledgeable about street/walking safety, and your animal will never be forced into an interaction with another person or animal. I am incredibly respectful of you and your animal’s preferences and personalities!
About: Throughout my life I've grown up around and cared for many dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I've also had the wonderful opportunity to participate in my high school's doggie daycare, where we walked, played, and provided grooming services to dogs. My lifelong love for animals has led me to become a student at Texas A&M majoring in Wildlife and Fisheries, and for my freshman year I was a member of a service dog training organization called Patriot Paws. Currently I'm volunteering weekly at a wolfdog sanctuary where I clean enclosures and care for the wolfdogs that reside there! My availability should be accurately reflected on my calendar. Im usually available all times of day and any day of the week. I prefer at least 2 days notice for a booking. When caring for pets, I'll try to care for them in the same way they're used to when their owners are home. If there's any specifications for feeding, walking, etc. I'll follow it as close as I can.
About: Hi I am currently a student at SHSU! I’ve dog sitted since the age of 15. I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs; from bulldogs to chihuahuas. I’ve also trained puppies and taken care of senior dogs. I am currently a student and I work at part-time, so my availability to take care of your angels is mornings and evenings. Weekend mornings are also a great time! I am able to help with any training your dog needs, and there is a lot of trails around the town I am able to walk them through!

About: Hello, I am student at Sam Houston University and I'm studying animal science. I am also a brand new puppy owner of a puppy who was given to my family by an unhoused person. Im currently takinga nab at dog training. I also have two cats that were former strays. I grew up with a variety of animals, fish, mice, rabbits and I have experience with guinea pigs and horses, goats, and sheep. Im currently working part-time at Crunch Fitness in Conroe for 4 hours at a time. And I nanny/pet sit twice a week for 8hrs. I do school 2 days of the week for 4 hours as well. My shedule will constantly vary, but regardless majority of the time it is open. With my current pet-sitting gig and watch 3 dogs along with a little kid and those dogs will often get into some mischief. I always end up cleaning up some yucky mess one way or another. I am not one to yell at dogs or cats becuase thats not the way the learn. With a new puppy I understand the paitence associated with training as well as bond building.

About: I have been responsible for caring for animals my entire life, and caring for pets has always been something I truly enjoy. I volunteered at an animal shelter when I was just 12 years old, and growing up, my family always had dogs, horses, and livestock. I learned early on that animals depend on us for their care, safety, exercise, and companionship. As an adult, we have had several family pets, all of whom remained part of our family for their entire lives. One of our dogs was a diabetic Chesapeake Retriever who required daily insulin, which taught me the importance of being consistent, attentive, and comfortable with special care needs. I currently live at a lake house situated on three lots, giving dogs plenty of room to run, explore, and play. I have two rescue dogs of my own—a Lab mix who has been with us for ten years and a one-year-old Mountain Cur mix. My home has two floors with separate entrances, which allows me to safely and easily separate dogs if they need their own space or don’t get along. I enjoy taking my dogs on leash walks down to the lake and around the neighborhood, and I am always careful to clean up after them. I have also cared for my grand-dog in Queens, so I am very familiar with the responsibilities that come with caring for someone else’s beloved pet, including keeping their space clean and comfortable. Most importantly, I don’t see caring for dogs as simply a responsibility—I genuinely love spending time with them. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them attention and affection, taking them for walks, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while they are in my care. I understand that leaving a pet with someone is a big decision, and I would treat every dog entrusted to me as I would my own. I am retired so my availability is wide open. I have plenty of room both inside and outside for your pet. I live with an adult son so my dogs are cared for if i commit to sitting at your home. I have three lots so plenty of room for dogs to play. It is not fenced so I will always be with your dog whenever outside. I live in a rural neighborhood so I can walk dogs on a leash throughout the neighborhood including down to the lake.
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. Growing up, I was always responsible for feeding, bathing, and walking my family's pets. I am also a student majoring in pre-veterinary medicine and hoping to become a veterinarian. I love all animals deeply and strive to make every dog that comes under my care feel loved and wanted. Ensuring your pup's comfort is my top priority, so everything will remain as is. As long as I am shown the ropes on how everything is maintained, then you can trust that everything will remain the same as when you left it. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
