About: Hi, I’m Grace! I love all animals and grew up surrounded by them and have many of my own at home! I currently have 3 dogs,3 cats, parrots, and chickens who I take care of. I have even volunteered at Haven Humane many times, so I have lots of experience with feeding, walking, playing, and grooming! I also learned how to read pet body language and manage animals with different temperaments as a volunteer. I’m good with both young pets and older ones, and am even comfortable with administering medicine if needed, as I have pets that need regular medications. Whether you have an energetic pet who needs lots of attention and walks, or one who just wants to cuddle and needs someone to sit around at home with, I will take the best possible care of them! I’m currently working part-time usually Thursday through Sunday, though my schedule varies. I’m typically available in the afternoons or evenings on these days, so I can do walks or play dates. I’m free to house sit Mondays through Wednesdays and can even stay all day if needed. When staying at your home, I always make sure to never leave pets unattended for long periods of time, always keep them leashed while on walks, will send updates and often as possible, and carefully follow all instructions including feeding or medication instructions. I will also treat your home with the most care, and make sure everything is kept clean and secure.

My husband and I have used to her a few times while we have been out of town to give our 16 year old kitty her daily blood pressure medicine. Not only is she friendly and responsive towards people as well as reliable. She’s patient and kind with pets. My 16 year old girl who’s normally shy around strangers was at first shy around Melissa but has since warmed up that when it isn’t med time, she will greet her and let Melissa pet her for a few seconds (as is her nature she isn’t a kitty that likes being touched in general unless it’s on her terms) Melissa has her own two pets which I think helps with knowing how to read animal body language but also helps animals eventually trust her. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter for the things I’ve asked of Melissa while we are away, if you ask politely and remember she to is a person. She delivers exceptionally!! About: Ive always had a special bond with dogs. I have had the privilege of owning and having my 2 best friends in my life. They were an English bulldog and a rescued German shepherd . They have both crossed the rainbow bridge and they live in my heart forever. I helped trained our german shepherd which took a lot of work. When walking your dogs I never let them off leash and I never let any kids or people or any other dogs approach your pets for safety precaution I will be a big goofball with your pets and play with them but I'm also very protective and safe with your furry loved ones I've never had an instant ever occur because I'm very careful and want to make sure that your pets are safe and they're having an awesome fun time. I will send you lots of videos and pictures throughout the day and updates on how your dogs are doing a lot of my clients have cameras in their house so they feel a little more comfortable and at ease with somebody in their house staying with her pets which I totally understand I'm saying this to help you put your mind at ease that I have nothing to hide and that my main goal is to make sure that your pets have fun and feel loved while you're away on vacation
