About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life so I would love to help your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re out of town this summer. I started doing in home pet sitting for family in my teens and extended to family friends in my 20s. To date my most stressful stay has been handling emergency vet care for a dog who suddenly presented Lymes disease while his parents were out of the county. When the owner returned I had a urine sample ready to drop off and they only needed to settle their bill and continue his care. I have a natural caregiving personality and my full time work involves working with disabled individuals since I was 20. I work for the school district so during the summer I will only be working half days. Because of this I will have afternoons free to help care for your pets! Pet sitting in your home I will try to keep your pets schedule the same as when you are home as much as possible. I am comfortable spending the night with pets who need it, or waking up early to accommodate pets schedules. I am married so my spouse will be home to care for our pets meaning I don’t have to split my time.
About: I have had a wide variety of animals throughout my entire life. From dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs and snakes, I love them all. I have mild experience with farm animals but am comfortable and enjoy being around them. I have also had some professional experience watching animals when working at a pet daycare/boarding facility. On top of this I am about to graduate with a bachelor’s in Zoology so I’ve been able to gain a lot of knowledge through that as well! I am currently working towards my bachelors in Zoology at NMU. I live outside of Escanaba and travel daily so I am in a lot of places during a day. I have very few long stretches' of classes so I am pretty available to make sure your fur babies are well taken care of. I unfortunately cannot have animals in my own home but I do have one very friendly dog if you are looking to socialize your baby while you are gone. I can be very versatile with care as I have had animals while living in the woods and also the city. I am very overprotective of my animals and have a constant eye on them to ensure they are happy, safe and well taken care of.

About: I've been taking care of pets for over 10 years. My own pets have been cats, dogs, rabbits, mice, horses, and most recently rabbits. Through these various pets I've learned to work through potty training issues, giving medications, getting older pets out and about for walks, and much more. I've also helped friends and family with their various pets. I have walked and taken care of dogs of all sizes and personalities, bathed cats that hated it with every fiber of their being, and even taken on the daunting tasks of brushing dogs teeth and clipping nails. Every pet family I work with is different and I enjoy working to find the what works for them. I currently have a hybrid schedule that often has me working from wherever I can set my laptop down.So whether your dog needs a quick walk or you need house-sitting for a week I can make it happen. When it comes to pet care I come to you. As long as you let me know your about your pet and their needs I'm happy to stick with normal routines to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible.
