“I definitely recommend Wendy!! She’s very very caring, and she was very professional. All of the right questions were asked beforehand. I got consistent feedback/notes on my fur babies and I can tell that they were very well taken care of while I was away☺️. I will 100% be booking with Wendy.S in the near future.”

“Libby was a God send. We are so thankful for finding her on Rover. We have been worried for a long time about finding the right sitter for our Archie dog and Libby is the perfect person. I can’t wait to use her again! We were lucky enough to have another sitter turn us down and then we found Libby. Our Meet and Greet was as smooth as possible. When my husband made a mistake on the date and Libby showed up when she was not needed, she graciously came back the next day at the correct time. We couldn’t have asked for anything more for our dog, who happens to require a little extra attention. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Libby!”

“Rodney was great. He came to greet my pups ahead of the service date. He sent me pics throughout his visits and my pups were content and seemed happy when we got home. We will request Todney again.”

“Hadlie was excellent and very knowledgeable. She was able to address any anxieties we may have had and made sure to provide a thorough report of her visit with our dog Bee. Hadlie has excellent communication and responds quickly if we have any questions. We highly recommend her for your pets care!”

“Heidi was great with Chewie our Great Dane! She was quick to respond to all of our needs, kept us up to date on all Chewies activities and gave us the peace of mind from being away from our baby! Would definitely recommend her for doggy care.”

About: I have had pets my whole life. My first cat grew up with me. My parents got him while I was in Preschool. I have many fond memories of him, and used to help with his care whenever I could. I have house/dog sat for neighbors while I was growing up. I have experience raising a Pitbull, he was an awesome brindle coated sweetheart. He was my roommate's dog but I loved him as I would my own. I also raised a Shiba Inu, she was amazing. So beautiful, and loyal. She was my best friend for 14 wonderful years. Anyone who knows that breed knows that they can be especially challenging, but we got along great. I volunteer at Cascades Humane Society in Jackson. I love going there in my free time to walk dogs, cuddle or play with cats or just try to help with anything I can. Currently my close family (parents and siblings) have six dogs and six cats combined between all of us. I am also the Dogfather to some of them, and they would come to me if anything happened. Right now I have a 13 year old rescue cat named Daisy. She gets special food from the vet, and regular pills. She also gets lots of love and lap time. I also have a Norwegian Buhund puppy. He is super friendly and outgoing. I have walked dogs of all sizes and personalities. From Huskys that want to go, go, go! to lazy little dogs just want to sniff and stroll. With our own fur baby. We have a regimented feeding schedule with our cat. Breaking up her can of food into many smaller meals throughout the day to help her with her conditions. Our dog gets multiple daily walks and lots of attention as he is still just a pup and prone to “tasting” things he shouldn’t. We’re doing lots of redirection. I spent years as a maintenance man for a property management company. I also spent years as an appliance repair man. Respecting people, their homes, and furry friends is nothing new to me. I have been trying to absorb as much information about animal behavior as possible and do my best to communicate with animals in a way they understand. Giving your dog a friendly greeting is very different from how most people greet them. Some need some time and an indirect approach. Walking straight toward a dog head on is instinctually considered quite rude in canine interactions. Cats also have their own language and way of doing things. I try hard to always respect that.

“Susanna was great! Even before booking with Susanna she came and met our cat, Albie, and was very personable in meeting Albie and taking notes on how to care for her. Susanna was great with keeping us up to date on when she was going to do her drop in and even took a few videos of her playing with Albie. Highly recommend Susanna for caring for your "fur-baby" and we look forward to book with Susanna again!”

“Very happy with how well Rachel took care of our boys while we were away from home! We look forward to another booking. The peace of mind knowing our pets are well cared for while away is priceless. Thanks!”

About: I have taken care of pets since I can remember. I have been a dog sitter, a cat sitter, bunny sitter and even a bird sitter. I have a senior dog that is almost 13 and I also take care of my sons 160lb German Shephard (he's a big boy) I also have two Painter turtles. My daughter needed a companion after her dog passed so she took our black cat to live with her. I love all animals and if given the chance I will treat any fur baby in my care as my own. I have taken care of my daughter two dogs. One was a Chihuahua mix who just passed at 16 and the other was a Blue Heeler who just passed at 8 . I have also taken care of my sister's two German Shepherd dogs. One is 8 the other is a rescue and he is almost 2. If entrusted with your fur baby, I will cuddle, kiss, love and protect them as my own. I work night shift and am on a 5/2 schedule so I will have plenty of time to make sure your babies are taken well care of. I will make sure your pets are played with fed and watered and kept safe at all times. They will be well taken care of.

About: I grew up in a 6 cat household at one point, so I have the most experience working with cats, however I've cared for many family members dogs while they are away, such as my sister's very active 5 year old, blue heeler mix (Sora) that she has had since 2021. I am comfortable caring for, feeding, playing, and walking small to medium dogs. My schedule is pretty flexible and open at the moment as I am studying to take a board certified exam and applying to future positions within my field. I can assist in early mornings, midday or in the evenings. Unfortunately since I have two cats at home, I am unable to board other animals at our location. I am flexible and adaptive to caring for your pets in your home for drop in visits, depending on their discussed needs.

About: Former vet assistant and kennel worker who ran an animal care business specializing in horses, German Shepherd breeding, and compassionate pet sitting for cats and dogs. I maintain a regular work schedule but offer flexible pet sitting hours to accommodate your needs, providing reliable, attentive, and personalized care for your pets anytime. At my home, pets enjoy a secure fenced yard, horse stabling, and kennels for boarding. When visiting clients’ homes, safety and comfort in familiar surroundings are always prioritized.

“Aveline has been very helpful! She is an excellent communicator, asked good questions and took cute pictures of our pets while we were away. She really cares and did an excellent job. We highly recommend Aveline!”

About: First off, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Bessie and I'm 26 years old. Animals have always been huge part of my life, whether they're big or small. Besides now, I've always had at least one dog in my life. I didn't grow up without them. At the moment I'm not able to have my own fur baby as my significant other and I decided to explore the world and enjoy our life while we still can. This decision comes with the loneliness of not having a dog by my side. Currently I'm home full time and would love to take care of your fur baby like they are my own, but I will not over step my boundaries. I have volunteered at the KCHS taking care of dogs and talking them for walks. I like my lifestyle to be very active therefore I am able to accommodate your dogs needs with all the exercise and playtime he/she wants or needs. I am a retired US Marine that would be honored to be able to take care of your dog(s) for you when you need that extra hand. I understand it's hard to find someone not only reliable but someone you can also trust with your family member when life gets busy, so I would be very delighted to assist you in loving, spoiling, caring for that special member of your family. If you need someone that understands anything you and your dog(s) asks/wants/needs, I am your girl to accomplish that task!

About: i have grown up around all kinds of animals, but really specialize in dogs. i train and compete. i currently own a belgian malinois trained in bitework/protection and an australian shepherd trained in agility/obedience. i’m available pretty much all the time. just reach out and i’ll work around my schedule! i do work part-time, but i have very flexible hours. i am open to caring for your pet in anyway you’d like. i can adapt to any routine, any training style, etc. i’m very flexible!

About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

Scott C.
“We are absolutely sure that Scott Cooke would loving care for and keep our dog safe in our absence. Actually, we asked him to be the one to take ownership of our dog in the event that something happened to us. Potential clients can leave their pet in Scott’s care knowing that he would be attentive, loving and keep their pets safe as well. We have watched Scott care for his own pets in this manner for many years.”

Robyn H.
“Robyn took extremely great care of my 2 boys when (chihuahua/terrier and a beagle/blueheeler) I asked her to either let them out for me or watch them for a few hours. She treated them as if they were her own and spoiled them way more than she would her own kids! She is really great at giving medications on time and following any directions without any hesitation. I am very particular about my boys to the point where I would leave a page or two of directions and tips to help take care of them. She had no problems following that at all. You will definitely get the best care for animals with her!”

Bessie P.
“We have a rescue dog that is always very apprehensive when anyone new comes in our home. The first time Bessie came to visit I was unaware of her love of animals especially dogs. Our dog Chloe was very leery of Bessie at first but within minutes was responding to her, Bessie was very patient and calm. She spoke to her in a very soft and loving voice which Chloe responded to very quickly. Now when Bessie comes to visit Chloe is the first one to greet Bessie with lots of love and kisses for her. I would trust Bessie with any dog of mine she is very trustworthy I would have her in my home dog sitting and caring for my pets with absolutely no apprehension.”
