“Rodney and his puppy crew were amazing! He sent pictures and gave updates to let me know that Marshmallow was comfortable and well cared for. Our little girl is looking forward to visiting again!”

“Always such a great experience! Our pup Mila loves them and their home, and we always feel comfortable leaving our pups with Coddy & Bryon. They are understanding and flexible! We greatly appreciate them and recommend their services to anyone.”
“Caroline and her family were great sitters for my “baby”. Our dog had opportunities to play indoors and outdoors. Caroline provided videos and messages to ensure we were aware of how she was doing. She was also responsive to our feeding schedule and questions. I will definitely use Caroline again!”

“There is a reason why Catherine is a Star Sitter on Rover, and we experienced that amply while boarding our 5-year-old Husky and 16-year-old senior Bichon with her for three nights. Both our dogs require medicines and special care, and with Catherine, they got it reliably and wholeheartedly. She took the time to understand our care instructions and went above and beyond our expectations. She asked questions, kept us closely posted, and was supported strongly by her husband and family, all avid dog lovers who provided a secure and loving environment for our pets. When we picked up our dogs, they seemed relaxed and happy. We'd rate Catherine higher than five stars if we could!”

“Thanks so much Sarah! I am new to the area and this was my first time using rover, too. Sarah answered all my questions and send pics throughout the day. We had a great first experience and Sarah was a treat to work with.”
“Mary and Skip are wonderful and caring dog sitters! Jojo loves spending time with them. They give her so much love and attention. We always feel confident that she is well taken care of.”

“We are so grateful to Oscar for taking such amazing care of our puppy Maple this past weekend! Maple had so much indoor and outdoor playtime! Oscar kept us updated with videos and messages throughout the weekend. He was also incredibly flexible with Maple’s pickup time when we got stuck in traffic on our drive home. We recommend Oscar as a pet sitter without reservation and will definitely ask if Oscar can care for Maple again in the future!”

“Our dog Daisy had a great stay. We were sent photos and up dates periodically through out each day. She always looked happy, playing, eating or resting. She came home happy and healthy. We would absolutely recommend and book again!”

“Shashank was great with Smokey, and his dog Chicoo (the same age as Smokey) was such a sweet and friendly companion! I received lots of pictures and updates, which made me feel very happy about choosing Shashank and Chicoo to care for Smokey while I was away.”

“Brooklyn was great. Sent plenty of pictures. Ammo was a little timid at first. Brooklyn sent me picture and kept me updated on his comfortability progression and it didn't take long. Work recommend her for sure!”

“They took good care of my pup. They welcomed us in their home and made sure Snuggz was accommodated. They were even so kind to provide a bowl since I forgot to bring one. The communication was also great when needed. I would recommend”

“Katie took good care of my dog, Tilly, for the weekend. She sent daily photos and updates and opened her home for Tilly’s stay. Tilly seemed comfortable and enjoyed playing with toys. I’d recommend Katie and her family for dog sitting.”

“Highly recommend Amber! Our dogs looked so happy each time she sent pictures or videos, she has a great fenced in yard for them to run around in and even allows dogs on furniture and beds. Hands down my dogs favorite part I’m sure! Her sweet daughter even bought my dogs a toy, they love their new “baby”. Thank you Amber!!”

“Our 1.5 y.o. pup spent 10 days with Mariana and came back happy, healthy, and knowing a few new commands and tricks. Totally trust her and will request her again when we need boarding.”

“Stephanie and Matt were amazingly accommodating. Sent lots of pictures and communicated well. They have a huge fenced yard for lots of safe, outdoor playtime. Highly recommend!”

“Everything went very well. I will be taking Buttons to April again. It was his first overnight and it was 3 nights. I bet he didn't think I was coming back. He was strange the first night, but back to normal the next morning. Can't thank you enough April.”

About: I would love to visit with your furry family members when you are busy. I love all dogs, big or small, old or young. I am available nights and weekends I come to your home or your pups can come visit mine. I can also come take your pup for a walk during lunchtime during the week. I have two fur babies that are 2 years old and they love other dogs and love to play. They are both neutered and up to date on their shots. If your pup requires a crate, I have those available too. We have 40 acres, but none of it is fenced. We like to play fetch and play in the kiddie pool when it is hot outside. Let’s set a up a pup play date.

“Alexis took great care of our cat while we were away! She sent thorough updates, pictures, and was always on time. We really appreciated the peace of mind her care provided. Highly recommend!”

“Hadlie is a reliable help! Our cats seem to like her and are familiar with her. She is trustworthy, friendly, and professional. I rest easy knowing that our cats are well cared for. 💗”

About: I will love and care for your furry friends as I do my own. I've owned dogs my whole life and my family would say it's a passion I've never fulfilled (but will be thanks to rover!) I've owned all size breeds so teacup or a small horse, I've got you covered! I am a Navy Veteran and current full-time student at the University of Michigan and my husband works from home 100% of the time. Your pups will never be left unsupervised. We have two other dogs in the home who love having guests and making new friends. Feedings can take place whenever you deem necessary for you! We have a ton of treats (SCHNACKS) ready to spoil and pamper your puppers as we do our own. I live on 7 acres of land in a private community, and have approximately 1 acre of fenced in yard directly off the back of the house. Your friends will be able to take plenty of potty breaks and nice tranquil walks in the "countryside". They will be kenneled at night (around 11p.m.) in a dark, empty room in a padded kennel. (I know it sounds depressing but is actually super relaxing for doggos!). Doggie bath services are also negotiable.

“Brittany, is amazing!!! She took great care of our Bullet. She sent photos daily and let me know he was fed and happy with every visit. Brittany, will definitely be hired for future vacations. Thanks Brittany!!!!”

“Susanna and Erick continue to provide great care for our cat each time we book! We appreciate their great communication and picture updates, and they water our garden/take in our mail each time. So grateful to know our house and Calvin are safe while we're gone. Thanks for everything!”

About: Hi there, I’m Brittany. Animals make me happy. When I see a pet, I see a child. They are a member of the family. They have the sweetest souls and biggest hearts and I wouldn’t treat them any other way. I have one dog and I was raised with 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have always been an animal lover and I always will be. Every day I take my dog on at least one walk and many times I walk him multiple times per day. I treat my fur babies like family and how I would want to be treated. I am not only here to help you during your busy schedule but to become a friend to you and your fur baby. To house sit during longer durations, I can travel to anywhere. I would need to bring my golden retriever with me if your pets like to socialize and make new friends, he loves other dogs and gets along with them great, he is very social and has been to many dog parks and households with pets, if not I may be able to find someone to take care of him for me during that time. For drop in visits, I can assist on my own or bring my dog for some company. I am also available on certain days for doggy day care and boarding. When I have a dog stay with me I treat that dog like my own and it would have an amazing friend to play with. Pets are allowed on furniture, I have treats, toys, tons of dog beds, and a fenced in yard. I will also take your dog out on walks and play fetch or tug to burn energy. If you choose to book me, thank you for trusting me and I won’t disappoint you! My schedule is very flexible, and I would love to help accommodate what you need help with, whether that is daily or weekly. I am always picking up new work bookings. I have booked a lot off of rover so I have additional referrals if you would like them! I will treat your animals and home as if it were my own, with love, trust, and respect. I have helped out for many years taking care of people's pets and homes. I have many references.
About: I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat of my own and love helping care for other animals. I have experience with high energy dogs, as well as senior cats and dogs. I am now a young 40 something mom and professional who has had pets my entire life! I LOVE animals! I am typically available to provide care in the evenings and weekends, sometimes at lunchtime depending on location, and for extended vacation stays. I only care for other pets in their own homes so I take guidance from you and your pet. Tell me what preferences you have and what your pet's routine is and I will follow that. :)
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 13. I have a puppy of my own who lovesss to socialize. “Rodney was very friendly and approached Scout with patience (he’s a rescue with some past trauma). He clearly is knowledgeable about dogs and cares about them. I would definitely contact Rodney to watch Scout if I’m ever in the area again!”

“Arling and Mary took great care of my 8-month-old Pomeranian pup. He was comfortable and content with them and they took him on multiple walks and provided great care! Sent updates and took photos. Would use them again in the future and recommend.”

About: Ive been taking care of dogs my whole life. We actually had Beagle puppies born in our bathroom 13 years ago. I've raised 5 dogs all together. We have 1 left. He's our baby. I will love your dog like my own. I will take care of them like you do. I'm not working so I have plenty of time to walk, play and love on your pet! I am available most weekends and holidays as well. I have a fenced area in my yard, a doggie door and a very friendly senior dog. He's a little loud sometimes, since he's a Beagle but it's all love. Your fur baby will be super happy here. If you prefer I come to you that is perfectly fine too. I will make sure your pet is happy when I leave!
“So very nice! This was an unplanned trip for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Catherine was available last minute. She was very flexible regarding my needs to visit someone in hospital. My dog was very happy at her home. It was a relief to know he was being taken care of so well. Highly recommend.”

“Nicole and her family were amazing with our puppy. She even made a concerted effort to try to use the same methods of training we have been using at home. My kids and puppy love her. As someone from out of state with no friends or family in the area, Nicole will be my first "go to" for the future! It's hard to trust folks with your lil ones sometimes!”

“Thank you Caroline for taking such good care of my Ku'uipo. The video's and pictures you sent of her eating and playing was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be coming back the next time we're in Michigan.”

About: I've had different dogs in the house for my whole life. As a kid my family brought dogs in for foster care. We've taken care of multiple dogs with disabilities, including deaf dogs and partially blind dogs. Dogs get along with me well and I'm good at getting shy dogs to warm up to me. I've also volunteered with the Jackson County Animal Shelter, working with the cats at PetSmart. I've also taken care of relatives'/friends'/neighbors' pets. Currently I spend most of my time at home working on my online classes so I will have plenty of time to spend caring for your dog. On the rare chance that I'm not home at least one of my parents are in the house and will be able to fill in for me while I'm out. The dogs that I own eat at the same time everyday and go out as needed, but if your dogs need to be treated differently it will be easy to change things for them. Just fill me in on what your pet needs to be taken care of properly and I should be able to get it done.

About: Your dog will be my dog while in my care. I am a huge animal lover who has always made my animals a part of my family, not just an animal. Starting May 4th, I will be training for a new job. My training hours will be 8-5, if you can work around those time please reach out. My yard is not fenced so your babies will only be outside when I am out there with them, leashed if required. I do not agree with leaving a dog alone all night when they are already seeing a difference with their family being gone. If they are dog friendly they would have socialization as well with my friends and family dogs so they could get some interaction and extra exercise! I currently work from home so frequent potty breaks or administration of medication would not be an issue. We would be one big happy family all day long My dogs are not crated when I leave the house but do have an extra large one if required for your baby. If you need me to do a drop in visit, my hours for availability are in the air for the next couple of weeks until I am given my new works hours.
“Katie is just great. Immediately felt comfortable with her and you can tell she has tons of experience. She has a great set up, Rodney had an awesome time and loved hanging out in her deck. Will definitely use her again.”

“Lauren has been watching my Daisy for a couple weeks now and she is awesome!! Daisy loves her and already knows when we turn down her street that she’s going to daycare. Highly recommend!!”

About: I have been taking care of animals for over 20 years. I'm comfortable with animals of all ages and sizes. I have experience with administering medicine, post-surgery care and multiple animals in one setting. I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I have plenty of time to spend with your sweet pups. There will be a lot of cuddles and playtime! We live on 6 acres and have a poodle, a sheepadoodle and two children. We play outside often. About: I’ve worked professionally as a horse trainer, wildlife rehabilitator, zookeeper, animal cruelty investigator and farm animal sanctuary manager. As of 2026 I now offer sitting and boarding for dogs and cats in my home or yours. In my home, your dog or cat would have the space exclusively to themselves as there are no other animals or kids in the house. I can also service horse farms including feeding, cleaning and overnight stays. I know how much trust it takes to leave your animals with someone else, and I don't take that lightly. I guarantee that your animals will feel safe and comfortable with me, and you'll rest easy knowing they're in experienced hands. I look forward to working with you! I work mostly from home, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day. I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and companionship without long absences. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable experience based on each pet’s personality and needs. In my home, dogs have a peaceful environment and access to my fully fenced backyard for supervised outdoor time. Because I work mostly from home and don’t have other animals right now, I’m able to give them consistent attention, companionship, and a relaxed setting. For cats, I have a private bedroom available for those who may feel uneasy at first or need their own space. The room includes a cat tower, cozy cubbies, and a full bed with soft blankets arranged into comfortable nesting spots. This gives them a quiet place to decompress and adjust at their own pace, while still receiving attentive care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal feeding, exercise, and care routine so things feel familiar and low stress. I’m respectful of both the pet and the home, and I’m attentive to details like energy level, mood, and overall wellbeing. I also provide regular updates so you know your pet is comfortable and doing well.

About: I am the person my friends turn to when they have a behavior problem with their dogs, although I am a pet sitter, not a trainer. I have an affinity with dogs. I love to read their expressions and body language to understand their moods. I am retired and stay at home almost always. I have lots and lots of time for the dogs that are entrusted to my care. I have about 2 acres, fenced. I have 3 couches in the living room where me and dogs can get comfortable. I let dogs in, I let dogs out. We spend good weather outside. About: While I'm more used to cats, I do also love dogs. Have a dog with separation anxiety? I can keep them company for a while! I will be working part-time Monday-Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. I will be available to watch your pets from 9:30 am-1:30 pm on those days (despite what options this site gave). On Saturdays and Sundays I'll be available from 3 pm-8 pm. If I am unable to watch a pet at any time, I will let you know ahead of time by at least a few days. I currently own a cat, Higgins, who is a big lovebug and fairly food motivated. I've been in charge of feeding him breakfast and dinner since we rescued him in 2015, along with scooping his litterbox. He's also needed nightly medication for some stomach issues, so I have experience giving him a pill. I can feed your pet, clean up after them whether they have a set schedule or not, and provide medication if necessary.
“Wendy was AMAZING!! We came to town for a funeral. She went to our hotel picked up our fur baby and walked him 2 separate times, and gave him dinner. She posted photos to the Rover app, and stayed in constant contact with me the entire time. I would recommend Wendy to ANYONE!!”

“Ashlee was absolutely fantastic. She was professional and clearly cared about my dog. Communication was great from start to finish, and I felt completely confident knowing my dog was in good hands. It’s obvious she takes her work seriously and goes above and beyond. I’ll definitely be booking with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality care.”

About: Welcome to the care of Mariana and Denys! 🐾 Caring for animals has been a huge part of our lives for as long as we can remember. Together, we have over 20 years of combined experience caring for dogs/pets, and we truly treat every pet like family. We both work from home, so your pets are never left alone and always have someone around to watch over them, play with them, and give them affection throughout the day. We have a nice big yard where dogs can safely run, play, and burn off energy, and we make sure every pet gets the attention they need based on their personality and routine. We also have experience caring for pets who need a little extra support, including administering medication, caring for senior pets, puppies, and pets that aren’t fully potty trained. Mariana is CPR certified, giving you added peace of mind when it comes to your pet’s safety and well-being. We’re both originally from Europe and can’t wait to meet your pups. We know how important it is to feel connected while you’re away, so we always send plenty of updates, photos, and videos to help give you peace of mind. No matter the size, age, or personality, we do our best to make every pet feel important, comfortable, and cared for like they’re our own. We’re so excited to welcome your furry family members into our home. 🐶🐱💙 Our daily schedule is very flexible since we both work from home. This allows us to stick closely to your dog’s routine, including regular walks, feeding times, play breaks, and rest. We provide a calm, clean, and secure home environment where dogs are carefully supervised and treated with patience and respect. We follow your instructions closely, maintain routines, and take every precaution to make sure each pup feels safe, relaxed, and truly at home while in our care.

About: I’m knowledgeable in breed-specific needs and maintain consistency to keep them mentally and physically happy! I have previously taken dog behavior courses and am familiar with dog body language. I have worked with dogs of all sizes and ages! No dog is “too much!” I am comfortable with administering medications and providing grooming for long haired/high maintenance breeds. I have worked with puppies all the way up to senior dogs so I am comfortable handling all ages. I have a full-time job but am more than happy to fit time in to take care of your lovely fur baby. My typical shift is 8:00-4:30pm M-F. I have open availability on weekends to provide housesitting! If you are looking for constant care (pet cannot be left alone for 4 hours or more), I am happy to provide that however, I do charge a constant care rate if during the work week as I will need to take those days off and I will need to recoup lost salary. For constant care pets, I do require at least a month’s notice ahead of time so I can get that time off to accommodate. I will never take a sit if my work schedule cannot accommodate it—your pet’s care and safety is extremely important to me. I will work with you to decide if I am the right fit for your pet’s needs and routine. Nothing is worse than upsetting your pet’s routine and comfortability! I now offer drop-visits as well! This is great for people who might need someone to check in your fur baby a couple times a day but does not need around-the-clock needs. I am happy to drop in before work (8am) and can drop by after work! If you’re someone who works longer shifts, this is perfect for you! I am comfortable crating your pet if requested but they are also more than welcome to share a bed with me if they are used to sleeping with you! If you have an unfenced yard, I will keep them on leash at all times. If you have a fenced yard, I will stay out and monitor them until they are ready to come inside. Doors will be locked at all times whether I am in the home with your pet or if I’m at work. If you have any home-alarm systems, I will use them as well.
About: I've been taking care of both dogs and cats since I was around 12 or 13, both my own pets and others, and have dog-sat multiple breeds and sizes of dogs for pay as well as for family/friends. I have experience cat-sitting for pay as well and volunteered at a cat shelter, which I loved, that gave me experience with some special needs cats. I have experience dealing with hermit crabs, since I had them as pets for several years, as well as fish. I love animals so I took any chance I was given to take care of them! I work part time for my mom's company, so my schedule is pretty flexible and I'll have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I'm available weekends and weekdays, I'm a full time grad student so I'll update you with what times I'm available during the semesters whenever you contact me. don't hesitate to ask about anything you need, I'm fully willing to discuss it even if it's outside of my usual parameters. I would also like to note that I do not do recurring walks; my walking service is mostly open for one time walks for clients who can't get home for their pets. If you are within ~15 minutes of either where I am or where my classes are, my price for drop-ins is discounted to $15 instead of $25. I also do not have house sitting open right now due to classes but feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss it to see if I might be able to accept it. :) I can easily crate your pets if needed and I'm good with leashes/harnesses. I never leave doors open, so you won't have to worry about your pets escaping.

“We are so grateful for Susanna! She is great with our 1 year old puppy, Cooper. She took the time to get to know him and go at his speed in the beginning and is fantastic at following his lead each time she comes to walk him! If he doesn't feel like walking, she makes it a game or plays with him in the yard! She is super responsive and communicative. I know that if any issues were to come up, she would promptly convey them to me. I know our Cooper is in great hands with Susanna!”

About: I had 2 Pekingese that I lost in 2021 and 2023. I love them deeply and miss them every day. I’m not quite ready to take the leap to be a pet owner again but I miss the companionship and unconditional love of a dog. I would love to spend time with your dog! I love to take them for walks or runs and I also love to snuggle them or go for rides. I truly love animals and want them to feel loved as well. Our lives get busy with work and travel and I know having a pet and leaving them behind can be stressful. It’s hard to find someone to trust! Let me ease the stress of finding that person, I will love them and treat them with as much compassion and care as you. I currently work part time and have Friday through Sunday off. I run most of those days so would love to bring your active dog along! But I also love to knit and read and would curl up with them in a warm bed. I do not have a fenced yard but live in the country and I can leash your pet and take them out for walks or runs. Your pet is allowed on any furniture in my home, whatever makes them(and you) comfortable.

We recommend Oscar as a pet sitter without reservation and will definitely ask if Oscar can care for Maple again in the future!”
