About: I’m a dedicated animal lover who relocated to Springfield, MO about a year ago, and I’m excited to continue caring for pets in my new community. I previously volunteered with the SPCA, where I gained hands-on experience working with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I pride myself on being responsible, communicative, and positive—qualities that help both pets and their owners feel comfortable and confident in my care. Whether your pet is high-energy and loves to play or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to meet their needs. I’m very active and enjoy engaging pets with activities like fetch, walks, and interactive play. Having grown up with multiple dogs and cats, I’m very familiar with daily care routines and animal behavior. I also have experience reinforcing basic commands such as sit, stay, wait, leash walking, roll over, and fetch. In addition, I’m comfortable with bathing and providing routine grooming care based on your pet’s specific needs and breed requirements. Building trust is extremely important to me. I use clear communication and patience to create a strong bond with every pet, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and cared for—just like they would with family. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I already lead an active, structured lifestyle. I make time each day for walks, outdoor activity, and maintaining a consistent schedule, which allows me to easily accommodate feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and check-ins. I’m flexible throughout the week and can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs, whether that means early morning walks, midday visits, evening care, or extra attention for pets who need more companionship and activity. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them is something I look forward to rather than simply fitting into my schedule. I tailor my care to each pet’s unique routine, personality, and needs, whether I’m in my home or caring for them in a client’s home. My goal is to keep their environment as comfortable, consistent, and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all provided instructions closely—this includes feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any specific routines your pet is used to. I also make sure your home is respected and kept clean while you’re away. I provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing. When caring for pets in my home, I create a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, attention, and affection. I make sure pets get the right balance of exercise, play, and rest based on their energy level and temperament. I’m attentive to behavior, comfort, and any changes so I can respond quickly if needed. No matter the setting, I focus on building trust, maintaining consistency, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I've been pet sitting for family friends for years but more "professional" since last year. I have no issues with bigger or smaller dogs. I get an hour lunch break I use to go home and check on the pups and after 5:00 I have all afternoon to play. Besides my work hours I'm completely flexible on walk, feeding, etc. times to meet your pet's needs and routine. My weekends are completely free I try to make the pets and you the owners feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. I'm respectful with any boundaries you or your pet may have and I can easily adapt to your pets wants and needs.

About: I’ve loved dogs since I was a small child but as I’ve gotten older I’ve become extremely interested in the training and grooming side of things. I’ve got experience with dogs ranging from 3 months to as old as 15 years old. I myself go hiking and walking with my dogs (2 year old Australian cattle dog mix) on a daily basis so I’m familiar with regularly exercising dogs. I’ve walked dogs for family members and friends so I’m familiar with walking dogs of all sizes, shapes and temperaments. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
