About: Raised among a pack of Golden Retrievers and animals of all types, I have a lifetime of experience in pet care and mischief management!! From raising puppies to cuddling with my senior dogs, caring for animas is second nature to me. I’ve learned from my mom who has been a dog trainer and groomer for my whole life. I am currently a senior at Bloomsburg University commuting from Danville. I have a relaxed schedule giving me time morning and night to take care of some doggies in either area. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities! I will provide a safe and nuturing atmosphere, while respecting your pet’s routines and preferences. Your home will always be treated with respect, and your pet will recieve the attention, love, and playtime they deserve.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life and also have experience with small animals and fish. I am experienced with pets of all sizes. I work part time, so I have lots of time to care for pets. About: *WILL ONLY BE IN THE AREA UNTIL MAY 10* Along with my family's 4-year-old wheaten terrier-poodle, I have experience taking care of dogs from working in a boarding kennel for over two years. My experience includes feeding, exercising, medicating, bathing, and cleaning up after dogs of all breeds and ages (from newborn to senior). I have a genuine love for animals, especially dogs, that makes taking care of them incredibly fun and fulfilling. I am a junior college student home in the area until the end of the semester (mid-May). I am free outside of my school schedule on weekdays for walking or house visits. On weekends, I am available for housesitting. I am not be available to board in my home; however, I will be available to housesit according to my schedule. I will feed, medicate, and exercise the dog(s) as per the instructions of the owner. I am comfortable with crating at night or having the dog(s) sleep with me in order to keep their routines the same. If specified by the owner, I am experienced with bathing dogs as well.

“I have had many dog walkers in the past, but Mr. Van Zijl is by far the most professional dog walker I have ever worked with. Upon our first meeting I was shocked by his striking physique, the man looked like he was sculpted by the Gods. My dog has unlimited energy, and I warned Connor that it may be a longer walk than usual to get my dog to use the restroom. At first I was worried, but Connor smiled from ear to ear and said, "I love me a challenge, especially a four legged challenge!" I then watched him walk my dog into the distance and thought to myself, "Wow, that sure is one dedicated dog walker". By the time he returned, it was dusk, and my dog appeared to have gone through the most intense workout of his life. When Scooter left that afternoon, he had love handles, but when he returned all I could see was chiseled dog abs. Connor did not appear to even sweat on this dog walking expedition. After shaking my hand he slowly walked away to his car and I could hear him mumbling to himself in a sporadic manner, "that's how you take the dogs out". Connor Van Zijl is now my full time dog walker, and I do not foresee ever hiring another.”
