Amanda was so welcoming and was able to take our two on last minute for a day while our house was being painted. I am sure our dogs were much happier having friends to play with. I was so impressed with Amanda, this process and my dogs. This was such an easy and great experience. Thank you Amanda!!!

About: I work from home, so your pup gets constant care and company. I have experience with both playful puppies and gentle senior dogs, tailoring my care to their needs. Plus, our friendly dog makes every guest feel right at home! I’m able to give pets attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. Morning and evening walks, yard play sessions, and plenty of snuggles are built right into my routine—so your pet will feel loved and cared for every moment they’re here. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, comfortable environment with a fully fenced yard for outdoor time and plenty of supervised play. I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, and rest to help them feel at home. They get lots of attention, exercise, and snuggles—plus playtime with our friendly dog if they’re social. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and stick to the same schedule, rules, and routines their pet is used to. My goal is always to keep them happy, healthy, and stress-free while you’re away.

About: • All breeds, temperaments, sizes & quirks • Administering medications • Decade of dog care and training experience Hi, I’m Kylie! I’ve been working with dogs for over a decade, including time spent learning under and alongside professional dog trainers. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and quirks. I run my services out of my home, where every dog is treated like family. We’ve created a dedicated dog room designed for comfort, structure, and relaxation, giving pups their own safe space when needed. Our fully fenced-in yard provides plenty of room for supervised play, exercise, and fresh air, so your dog can enjoy a balance of activity and downtime. I do my best to keep each pup’s daily routine as close to their at-home schedule as possible, which helps them feel comfortable and lowers stress. My care is always personalized—whether your dog needs extra playtime, calm companionship, or structured guidance, I adjust to fit their needs. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I make sure every pet in my care feels loved, secure, and well taken care of. During the day, dogs in my care follow a balanced and structured routine designed to keep them happy, comfortable, and engaged. Potty breaks are offered every two hours (unless an owner requests otherwise), giving each pup plenty of chances to go outside and stretch their legs. Playgroups are always supervised and matched based on each dog’s likes, dislikes, and play style, so social time is safe and enjoyable. Mini training sessions can be worked into the day upon request, reinforcing good manners and keeping pups mentally stimulated. To help dogs recharge, I include structured nap times where they can relax in a calm environment. And of course, there’s plenty of time to hang out with humans—whether that’s lounging on the furniture for snuggles or just enjoying companionship. This balance of activity, rest, and affection ensures every dog feels at home while staying with me. As a stay at home wife my entire day is structured around our own dogs and our visiting dogs. In my home we do boarding and daycare! Boarding dogs are on a slightly different schedule than daycare dogs, as they’re with me all day instead of only during the day. Boarding dogs routines vary based off energy level, temperament and their usual routine at their own homes. Depending on the dogs temperament and who they get along with we swap play groups around just to ensure the best time for everyone! All dogs in my home are treated like family. I’d want my own dogs to be treated as such during boarding or daycare, so it makes sense that i treat all client dogs the same.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and sizes, including puppies, adult dogs, and cats. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, playtime, and providing lots of love and attention. What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, reliability, and ability to adapt to each pet’s unique needs. I’m comfortable working with puppies who are still learning routines, including leash walking, potty breaks, and maintaining consistent schedules. I prioritize safety, clear communication, and consistency. I follow your pet’s routine closely to reduce stress and keep them comfortable while you’re away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy at all times. My goal is to give both pets and owners peace of mind by providing dependable, compassionate, and attentive care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my schedule to allow dedicated time for walks, feedings, playtime, and check-ins, ensuring each pet gets consistent care and attention. I’m organized and reliable, so I’m able to stick closely to your pet’s routine and timing. I’m available for regular weekly care as well as occasional or short-notice bookings, depending on availability. I communicate clearly and confirm schedules ahead of time so you always know when to expect me. My goal is to provide dependable, stress-free care that works smoothly with both your schedule and your pet’s needs. I care for pets in their own home whenever possible so they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and household rules. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure at all times and keep a calm, attentive eye on pets during visits and walks. I treat every home with respect and maintain a clean, safe environment while I’m there. I’m mindful of potential hazards, keep pets away from unsafe items, and always prioritize their well-being. I also provide updates and communication so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free experience built on trust, consistency, and genuine care—for both pets and their owners.

My kiddos wanted to go to the waterpark before returning home from our beach vacation but my fur baby wouldn’t be allowed…. Lucky, I was able to find Jessica last minute thru Rover and everything worked out perfectly! I’d never used Rover before and was a bit nervous to entrust a stranger with my lil girl but I ended up being worried for nothing! Lola loved her play date with Jessica’s fur baby, Peanut, and having some time out of the hot sun! Thanks Jessica, you are amazing! I’ll definitely hit you up next time we visit Emerald Isle!

About: I have multi-dog household experience. There has always been at least two dogs in my house growing up, they’re my favorite animals. I have a chocolate Labrador named Whiskey, and a Schnoodle named Max. My chihuahua sadly passed away. I love to meet and have other dogs in my house. I’m comfortable administering oral medication if needed. I’ll send daily photo updates. I’m a stay at home mom so there’s always time to care and play with our furry kids. I wake up between 6-8am and go to bed by 10pm. When I need to leave the house to run errands, I don’t take longer than 3 hours at a time, so I make sure my pets are taken outside for potty and water breaks. There is a fenced area in the back of our house, and a big open area. I can take them out on a leash if needed or crate them if they’re not house trained.

About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available, they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots, heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed

About: There is nothing I love more than taking care or sweet fur babies. I’ve had personal experience taking care of dogs of any size for over 11 years. I have one small dog of my own that is old and very easy going. I currently work full time with kids with Autism. I usually work from 10-4. I prefer dogs that are crate trained and that can be left alone for a few hours. I am also available to dog walk before and after work! I have a large backyard area, however; it is not fully fenced. I make sure dogs are leashed when we hang out in the backyard!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in North Topsail Beach on Rover is $44.4 per day (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 237 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across North Topsail Beach. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your North Topsail Beach commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 237 sitters in North Topsail Beach, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
