“I am so thankful to have found Caitlin. I had a last minute issue with my previously arranged pet sitter and turned to Rover hoping for the best. With less than 48 hours turnaround from contract to start of my extended vacation she was able to accommodate a meet and greet and was more than willing to take on my entire menagerie, even making herself comfortable with a rat and a bearded dragon! She was great at following the extensive directions I left and she communicated with me on the regular, sending me pics of my happy, happy crew. I’ll definitely be using Caitlin again, if I can ever afford another vacation after the last one!”

“Maggie went above and beyond! This was our first time using Rover, and I’ll admit I was hesitant. We have a diabetic, blind dog and another who gets incredibly down whenever we go away. But Maggie was amazing from start to finish. She sent us photos and updates that showed both dogs were not only doing well, but genuinely enjoying themselves. She even got Fiona, our shy girl, out of her room for walks and playtime outside! On top of all that, the house was tidied up when we got back, which was such a thoughtful surprise. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes - I grew up with Labs and took on dog sitting when I was 18. Now 22, I have 2 dogs of my own and care for them like they’re my children. I have experience with dogs from Labs to Corgis to Huskys - I also have experience in training my own dogs with a local program, so I am well versed in being a responsible care taker. I work from home! A lot of what I do on a daily basis can be done through my phone and my schedule is very flexible. In our home, we love to keep our dogs active and socialize them. We take them on short trips to Hocking Hills, play in the backyard and go on walks to the local park. In a client’s home, I am always considering the dog’s typical routine to keep them happy while their owners are away.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals my entire life that include a wide variety of medical needs to reactivity from puppies to seniors. Willing to provide the best care to your fur baby with daily photo updates. I am currently back in school and work remotely so I’ll be able to be as hands on with your pet as needed throughout the day I will follow all instructions and comfortable administrating medications from injections to pills. I also have experience with reactive large breed dogs as well as high energy working dogs. You can expect a a daily update with pictures.

I make sure they are fed on time and have access to fresh water throughout the day. I take dogs for regular walks to keep them active and happy, and for cats or other pets, I ensure litter boxes are kept clean and fresh. I love interacting with animals—whether it’s playing, cuddling, or just keeping them company. I want them to be comfortable and feel cared for! I also give treats (with permission) as a way to reward good behavior and build trust. Every pet in my care is treated like family.

About: I have dogsat for many friends and families over the years and have my own little guy at home! I love animals and love to be able to spoil them any chance i get! I am a full time student but have a lot of flexibility, I have my own puppy at home I am currently training as well and a full grown puppy as well! I have spent many years around dogs in my day to day routine. I find that keeping animals on set schedules helps with their anxiety and keeps them comfortable and confident! I love to gives dogs a happy and healthy life and I think playtime and fun should always be included into every routine!

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats. As an adult, I have three cats and one dog. I have house-sat for a few families over the years and have really enjoyed it! I am a stay-at-home mom. I volunteer throughout the week and have planned activities for my children, but my schedule is quite flexible. I am happy to work with you and your pet’s needs! For dogs who are boarded at my house, I will provide at least one walk per day (distance will vary on dog’s ability, but I usually take mine on a 3-mile walk). I will have play time and will accommodate any feeding schedule necessary. For dogs being cared for in YOUR home, I will happily work with you on his/her needs and schedule. :) Same for cats and other pets!

“Abigale was great! She stayed at our house for over 10 days to watch our English Mastiff, Meera, and our short-haired cat, Starlord. Abigale took great care of our animals, giving us picture updates regularly. We will definitely be using her again. A helpful tip for anyone interested in the 'House Sitting' service: On top of the Rover fee, we offered to provide a fully stocked fridge and pantry with items of her request. We also tipped her for the care she provided. These are not required, however, it does seem like something that should at least be offered to the sitter.”

So when it comes to pet sitting in my home , depending on how trained the animals are I am some times able to have them roam free with my pets along with supervision or I tend to leash walk if that’s way doesn’t work out . I prioritize myself on keeping my pets safe and other people’s pets safe as well.

About: I've never not known having a pet! My parents got my first dog 2 days after I was born, and just like in The Secret Life of Pets, we were inseparable! Since then, I have owned several types of species of animals, and ever since I became a dad, my love for animals has grown. All of our friends joke that we run a zoo at our house, but I absolutely love watching the bond between my kids and our pets. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 red-eared sliders, and a hamster. I have experience caring for puppies/kittens, elderly dogs/cats, pregnant dogs/cats, aggressive animals, and animals who need medication administered. I can't wait to love your pet(s) as my own! About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats for over 4 years. I worked at a kennel what I did there is I let dogs out, feed, clean crates, and bathe them. I would do the same to your pet. I am available anytime any day 6am-10pm. I am happy to help take care of any dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians. I will respond once i get a message. I have a barn that is a dog kennel with dog suites built in totalling of 12 rooms with one area for in/outing dogs. it also has a dog grooming facility.

About: I have had some sort of pet most of my life! I've had birds, fish, hamsters, dogs and cats. I can potty train puppies too!! I can make my schedule flexible to fit the needs of your pet(s). I currently have 2 dogs and a cat at home but my son can take care of them if I need to travel.
