“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. About: I worked for an AKC dog handler since 2011. 10 years grooming and training all sizes. From a Pomeranian to a giant Schnauzer. I have 1 dog and 5 cats. I am a very active person. I have had animals since I was little. To me they are a stress reliever. I can bathe and dry and trim nails and remove lose hair. I try to find things to do or in nature with my animals as much as possible. I'm 46 and my dog is 8. I am offering boarding and day care. I wake up at 5:30am for the day. About: If there’s one thing I know, it’s pets. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and helped friends foster possums and raccoons growing up. I currently have a 16 year old cattle dog lab mix, an 8 year old boston terrier, and a 3 year old bobtail cat. Raising a senior dog has taught me many things including oral med administration for animals, as well as how to handle general health ailments and emergencies that naturally come as dogs age. I work from home and have a fenced in yard. My animals have free rein of the home, and furniture. Working from home allows me to cater to any dogs schedule. The front half of my yard has a puppy picket fence so that small dogs can not get out, the back yard has a normal picket, but is six feet so that bigger dogs can roam comfortably without being able to easily jump over it. I am able to cater to dogs that need to be crated as well as animals that roam. I’ve used rover as a pet parent for years, so I understand what it can be like to leave your pet with someone new. I’ll make it a point to send you updates at least once a day detailing how they are doing, and send videos and pictures.

About: I've never not known having a pet! My parents got my first dog 2 days after I was born, and just like in The Secret Life of Pets, we were inseparable! Since then, I have owned several types of species of animals, and ever since I became a dad, my love for animals has grown. All of our friends joke that we run a zoo at our house, but I absolutely love watching the bond between my kids and our pets. We currently have 2 dogs, 2 red-eared sliders, and a hamster. About: I’ve had numerous pets throughout my childhood and adult life, including my current dogs, a Chihuahua and German Shepherd, and two indoor cats. Big dogs have my heart, but I love all dogs and have experience with all ages, breeds and sizes, crate and house training, slow feeder bowls, senior dog care, including doggy diapers, and administering medications. Whatever life stage you and your pup are in, I’m more than happy to assist! I currently work a consistent 8 hour shift Monday through Friday and am home by 4pm, so I’ll have plenty of time to spend caring for your pet. Your dog will have lots of attention and play time from my own friendly dogs, cat and teenager. I have an unfenced yard so we will always use a leash for outdoor time. There are near-by trails to walk just a short drive away and the dog park where we can play in the safety of a fenced area if everyone is ok with that. I can crate your dog if that is necessary as I have kennels for all sizes.

“Alec & Aishu have provided absolutely fantastic daycare for my pup, Nova, on numerous occasions. When I had to take a work trip recently, they also provided a wonderful boarding environment for both Nova and my cat, Squeak. Their frequent updates and photos gave me a lot of reassurance that both my girls were getting excellent care and lots of loving attention. Squeak can be quite timid and nervous of new situations, but Alec and Aishu's calm and kind manner instantly put her at ease and she was soon enjoying her time with them, chilling out, playing and being treated like royalty. Their own dog is very sweet and has become best buddies with both Nova and Squeak! I will not hesitate to send my girls to Alec and Aishu for their next 'vacation' when I have to travel!”
