About: As a lifelong dog owner, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve owned four Labrador Retrievers over the years and currently have one lovable lab, Ellie Bear, who absolutely loves making new furry friends. My experience goes far beyond basic pet care — my first dog, Nala, had a litter of 8 puppies, giving me hands-on experience with canine pregnancy, birthing, newborn puppy care, feeding schedules, socialization, and raising puppies in a safe, loving environment. I understand the importance of patience, routine, exercise, affection, and making pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, or simply having companionship, I treat every dog like family. 🐾 🐾 Availability & Care Schedule 🐾 Your pup will never be left alone — someone will always be home 24/7, whether it’s myself, Pep, or Kevin. We provide a safe, loving, family-style environment where dogs receive constant attention, care, and companionship. Each day includes: • Plenty of playtime and exercise • Snuggles, affection, and personalized attention • Potty breaks and outdoor time • A cozy, stress-free environment where your dog is treated like family 🐻🐾 I am currently available for: • Weekend boarding • Extended stays when needed • Flexible scheduling depending on availability My goal is to make every pup feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away! Your pup’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. We provide a loving, family-style environment where dogs are treated like one of our own. We have a large fenced-in yard perfect for running, playing, fetch, and getting lots of energy out safely. Our chocolate lab, Ellie Bear, absolutely loves making new friends, chasing tennis balls, and cooling down afterward in the pet pool on warmer days! 🐻💦 For boarding stays, I can easily accommodate your dog’s sleeping preferences. If your pup is crate trained, I’m happy to crate them when needed, or they can relax in a cozy dog bed for bedtime. And if your dog is used to extra snuggles and sleeping close to their humans, we don’t mind cuddles in bed either — we want them to feel as comfortable and at home as possible. Most importantly, your dog will never be left alone. Someone will always be home 24/7 — whether it’s myself, or Kevin — so your pup will always have supervision, companionship, love, and care.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.
About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and would love to be a companion for your pets! Young to senior, low to high energy I’m there! I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my girl Olive is still finding her confidence as a previous stray and working on her leash reactivity! I work full time as a registered nurse and have every Monday off and then every other week off. I’m pretty flexible! Let me know what you need! Although I can’t care for your pets in my home, I can offer dog-walking, drop in playtime/hangouts, enrichment games and even take your pup hiking if you’d like!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life, my own pitbull along with friends, families, and neighbors dogs. I have experience with small and large animals, working with horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, cats, lizards, geckos, and fish! I have been a pet sitter for 5 years. I also have a lot of personal experience taking care of dogs who require medications. I will ensure your dog gets the best treatment possible! I’m currently studying at Saint Michaels College and have classes on weekdays. I have an open schedule on weekends. I am also available all day on Thursdays. I prioritize the best care for my pets, giving them lots of love and care! In my home, I have two dogs who love attention. I have one senior dog who requires lots of snuggles and medications and one high energy 3 year old, who requires lots of playtime. Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your North Hero. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in North Hero.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

- 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
