About: Hi, I’m Jaclyn! I’m new to Rover, but not to pet care. I’ve always been an animal lover. I have taken care of family, friend’s, and coworker’s pets for over 15 years. I have been consistently pet sitting since 2020. This ranges from cats, kittens, senior dogs and puppies, to rabbits, guinea pigs, and tropical frogs. I make sure to keep your space clean; laundry, dishes, vacuum, take in the mail, take out the trash. I want your home to be a safe haven when you get back, with nothing to tend to when you return. I am a wonderful companion, and I make sure your pet is happy, clean, litter scooped, fed, walked, and they will get lots of love and playtime. I always respect their cues and boundaries for everyone’s comfort. Animals love me! Whether they enjoy playing ball or walks, or snuggles on the couch, I want to make sure your fur-babies are happy and cared for in your absence. There are references on my wix website which I’m happy to share upon request. I provide a free meet-and-greet before sitting dates; I want to meet you and your pet, and ensure they are comfortable with me ahead of my visit. I will go over your regular routines for your furry family member, and chat about what keeping your pet safe looks like. I love a good harness for walks, and carefully supervised backyard playtime. Wood trails are great for walks and I always keep a close eye to make sure your pet is not getting into any mischief! I exercise the utmost caution when walking on the street, keeping alert for traffic or any other hazards. I carefully assess dogs we may meet on the street to ensure safety and distance if necessary, with skills I’ve learned working at a doggy daycare. I care for dogs in a reassuring, calm way, with lots of praise and patience. I have a good eye for ticks and I am always finding them, but your dog should be treated for this, too. Your best friend is in good hands with me!
About: I have had dogs and cats as part of my family all my life. I have taken care of puppies and kittens to seniors and every step in between of my own and friends and family. My job is based on volume and is generally 6 to 8 hour day. I work 5 minutes from my house and at anytime if needed I would be able to run home for a potty or medication break My dogs are my world. I provide the up most safety standards for all of the furry paws that come into my life. I believe in treating everyone pets in a manner that I would expect mine to be. I have gone above and beyond to provide a secure fenced in yard. I also have a gate between the living area of my house and the front door to keep dogs from running out.
