“Levi is awesome to work with! My dog Alfie absolutely loves going to daycare everyday and comes home so tired and happy, which makes me very happy too. I love the pictures and updates I receive throughout the day and Levi has been so accommodating with schedule changes. Would recommend without a doubt!”

“I really am so happy with the care my dog received here. She was happy and would have probably been happy to stay and play with these wonderful humans! It feels great to know that she is being loved a LOT! Highly recommend.”

“Fritz was amazing and definitely tired Stok-Li and Kali out, they couldn’t even stay up on the ride home! He was great with them and they felt automatically comfortable around him.”

“My second time having Gigi watch my dog Charlie and I’m just blown away with how much she genuinely cares about your animal. She watched her so last minute and gave her a day full of walks and fun times. Can’t wait to have Charlie play with her again!!”

“I definitely recommend Gigi and her husband! They are truly passionate about dogs and go above and beyond to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for their furry guests. Their home is dog friendly and comfortable, with a spacious yard for dogs to play in. They only take in two small dogs at a time, ensuring that each pup gets plenty of attention and care. Their two friendly cavalier mixes are a great addition to the household and help make the experience even more enjoyable for the dogs they're watching. What sets them apart is their commitment to training. They're experienced in working with puppies and are incredibly patient and understanding. My 8 lb chihuahua puppy, Remi, has learned to be confident using the dog door. Most importantly, Remi is always happy and excited to stay with them. I trust them completely and have peace of mind knowing that my pup is in such good hands. I highly recommend their services to any dog owner looking for top-notch care!”

“Very satisfied with Barbara’s care of our senior Yorkie. Barbara was quick to respond to messages and she followed some pretty detailed instructions to the letter. And she sent several pictures during the day.”

About: Hi! My Name is Sam I’ve had pets my entire life and for the last four years, I’ve started caring for others I recently just joined Rover and am excited to be able to help care for more animals while their families are away. I have experience caring for puppies, dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. Growing up, I had a Pitbull, German Shepherd, and a Chihuahua. I also grew up with a cat that had special needs and rescued a litter of kittens and provided all necessary medical care to the four kittens to ensure they were healthy and able to be adopted to great homes. From pet sitting, long or short walks, and boarding I’ve got experience with it all! My goal is to make sure your animal enjoys their stay away from home and is as comfortable as possible. I will maintain any schedules you have for your pet, administer medications if needed, and of course give your pet extra love and attention during your time away. Your pet will get lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. They have free range of the home unless requested from pet owners we do not crate any pets in our care, and we work from home your pet will never be alone! Daycare drop off and pickup hours are between 6 am and 7 pm. Any time after 7 pm would need to be booked as boarding and pickup for the following morning. I offer extended stays as well.

“Kate does a phenomenal job taking care of my special needs puppy. She is attentive to Lucy's needs and gives honest feedback on the days' events. She tells me if Lucy has had walks, poops or naps during the day. Her photos are also meaningful and taken with care. I appreciate her time and dedication to care for my baby. I will continue to have Kate watch Lucy for as long as I can.”

“Quinn took AMAZING care of Jose!! He loved being outside in her yard and playing with the other dogs. I received photos/videos every hour as well as updates on how he was adapting. I will definitely be taking him there again! Thanks Quinn!! 😊”

“Haley and Amanda were great daycare hosts for our dog Jager! We booked a VERY last minute daycare with them and they were exceptional. Pickup and drop off were seamless, there was active communication throughout the day and photos of Jager playing with their dogs. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely book with her again. :)”

MESSAGE FOR RATES AND DETAILS Your fur baby is guaranteed love and absolute care 💙🙏🏽 If needed I will walk them or bathe them. If yard is fenced in, I let them out a couple times during the day, feed them at allotted times or when needed. It also depends on the level of care your pet needs

About: I love animals and previously did rover before ! I own 3 cats and previously owned 2 dogs. So i know what it takes to care of animals ! Weather it’s a small puppy or a huge doggy I am there to sit your animals :)! I’ve also raised my pets up from kittens ! And have owned bearded dragons !! So I have experience will all types of animals big and small! I’ve volunteered with animals . And have skill's training pups as my family has owned various puppies ! And litter trained my cat when she was a kitten :)! When i have off days i would love to take care of animals. I work part time and am only scheduled maybe 2 or 3 times. For the most part I’m open I have a fenced in back yard and also a big house for the animals to roam. If I’m boarding I have no problem cleaning after them in the house and things like that. And also have no problem sending pics when needed

About: *If you are UNSURE if will need boarding DO NOT send me a boarding request unless you are 100 percent sure you need services, please and thanks. Be sure to fill out the questions about your pet fully prior to contacting me, so I can inform myself about your dog. *I must preface that this site is not my primary way of booking dogs so the calendar may not always be up to date. The best way to know my availability is to message me once your service needs and dates are cemented. I provide a specific service accepting one dog at a time. I own a home that I work out of as well. I do a family dog style stay, rather than kennel format I do family style boarding. I can stick to your routine or we can do something different like getting your dog out for more walks. I understand how difficult it can be to find a place for your dog to feel the same security they do in your home with your family. I realize many people are adopting dogs that need strong handlers dogs that may be reactive or have social issues. I also understand how difficult it can be to find a boarder who is skilled in this area and a handler that your dog feels comfortable and confident with specifically if they are reactive with other dogs. And it is for this reason, I only board multiple dogs if they live in the same home. I will not accept a cold booking without meeting the dog first. Based on 24 hour schedule extra days past scheduled time naturally occur extra fees. I work for myself from home so I make my own schedule daily. I can adjust to any schedule. I typically have the dog on a nice regular routine while here. I care for all pets as if they were my own. I only take one animal at a time all of my repeat clients return for this reason alone.

About: I’ve been taking care of a variety of pets as long as I can remember, from little fish to big ol’ dogs. I also worked at Irondequoit animal hospital for nearly 4 years so I’ve just about seen it all. My time at the hospital has provided me with experience in oral and injectable medications and other basic medical and grooming procedures. I was involved in the training of a service dog puppy in 2023 and my family and I have fostered puppies with a rescue organization for the past couple years. I am currently a psychology student at University at Buffalo but my schedule should be updated to reflect my availability during breaks! My calendar reflects my school breaks for winter holidays and summer. While I’m home for the summer I work part time Seabreeze, but my schedules are very flexible and I can easily work around things. My cats are scared of everything so they hide upstairs whenever dogs are in the house. I have a baby gate up so the dogs cannot go upstairs. My backyard is not fenced in but I have a dog run cable that leashes can be clipped to so they have plenty of space to run with supervision. In your home I will abide by whatever routines and rules you have.

I provide a calm, clean space where pets feel at home, with regular updates for your peace of mind. Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. I dedicate time each day for feeding, exercise, play, and cuddles, ensuring every pet feels loved and cared for. Whether in my home or yours, I maintain routines, offer playtime, feeding, and plenty of affection to keep pets happy and comfortable. Safety and cleanliness are always top priorities.

About: I own a house with a big and long fenced in back yard, great for fetch and playtime. I have a 95 pound chocolate lab, Hunter, and a 75 pound black lab mix, Ozzy. They love playing with each other, but absolutely LOVE guests and have no problem sharing toys. I love animals more than people, specifically dogs. I have been around dogs my entire life. My dogs are treated like my children and I would do anything for them. I keep them on a daily routine all the way down to night time when they line up to get their teeth brushed. On the rare occasion that I need someone to watch my boys, I know how difficult it is for me to leave them. But knowing how well they are cared for and how much fun they have gave me such peace of mind. Granted I still felt guilty, but I knew they were being loved so much while I was away. I want to be that person for you. I work a hybrid schedule so I'm home most of the week. On the weekends, it's ALL about them. Hunter, Ozzy, and I LOVE going for walks and going on new adventures together. We have a ton of toys here for inside and outside use. You can bring a few of your own as long as your dog(s) don't have a problem sharing. Our Rules: 🐶 I accept one dog per night. Please let me know if you have more. We can always try to work something out. 🐶 My earliest drop off time during the week is 7 am and 8 am on the weekends. If you need to drop off earlier then you will be required to book an additional night 🐶 My latest pick up time during the week is 6 pm and 7 pm on the weekends. If you need to pick up later then you will be required to book an additional night. 🐶 Please submit your ESTIMATED drop off and pick up times at the time of booking so that I can make up my schedule accordingly. 🐶 I will pick up and drop off your dog(s) at your house for an additional $30 added to your booking 🐶 Meet and greets are required on the weekend before booking. Please message to set these up. 🐶 The only things your dog(s) needs is their collar, leash, food and medicines if needed. 🐶 If you feel more comfortable having them bring a special toy, bed, or anything else. Please let me know prior to arrival. 🐶 Keep in mind that I will do my best that none of their belongings get ruined, but if they do, I can't be held responsible. 🐶 Please bring a special harness or collar for walks. 🐶 If I am gone, your dog(s) will be separated from other dogs. Unless they become best of friends and it is requested they stay together. What sets me apart: 🐶 I have cameras set up in my house so that I can check in when I'm not home and also assure their safety. They notify me of movement (animal movement and human movement). I also have smart smoke detectors that will notify me, heaven forbid something of that nature were to ever happen. First responders are immediately called. 🐶 Collars come off and stay off at all times while inside my house. My dogs won't have collars on in the backyard, but if you would like yours to while outside that's fine! 🐶 Your dog(s) can sleep on furniture and have free reign. 🐶 We have a huge fenced in yard. 🐶 I am experienced in med administration. 🐶 They can have an egg mixed in with their breakfast 🐶 They will onlyever be left for a max of 4 hours at a time 🐶 We spend a LOT of time outside, no matter the weather. 🐶 I take and send a TON of pictures. 🐶 Your dog(s) are treated like my own. Everyone knows me as "that" dog mom. 🐶 I stick to your rules 100% 🐶 We can be Instagram friends for real-time videos. 🐶 Need or want something more? Let me know and we can try to arrange it! 🐶 I am very flexible and want to make sure you have peace of mind when your dog(s) are with me. I work a hybrid schedule and am home for the majority of the week. Your dog won't be left alone for more than 4 hours at a time. I have cameras, smart smoke detectors and a fenced in yard. I take all collars off while indoors for safety. When it comes to meals, I make sure that the dogs rest for at least an hour before and after they go for a walk or have playtime. This helps assure to bloat happens and they can digest their food well.

North Gates dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough good things about our experience with this dog sitter! Rachel is truly amazing—so warm, attentive, and responsive. She treated my senior girl Morgan like one of her own, and it shows in every photo she sent. Seeing Morgan snuggled up on the bed and relaxing on the sofa gave me so much peace of mind. It's clear Rachel provides a loving, comfortable environment that feels just like home. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for my girl, and I’ve already booked another stay. Highly, highly recommend!
