“We were passing through Rochester and really needed a very trustworthy sitter for our highly separation anxious three legged Jack. So when we found Alex and Bethany and Jack trotted off with them with no anxiety, we knew we'd found the right match. These people clearly have the magic touch and the dedication to take care of any creature with any kind of special need. So I would recommend them a million times over. Honestly feeling kind of bummed we dont live in Rochester and therefore cant call on them more often.”

About: Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m an animal lover through and through. I grew up in a cat‑loving family with the most adorable tabby and Persian cats. One of our Persians, Sweetie, was especially close to me. She passed away a few years ago, and losing her truly broke my heart—she was with me for so long and gave me so many wonderful memories. I also spend a lot of time with my family’s dogs—a brown Labrador, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and a pair of Boston Terriers—and I always make sure to play with them whenever we’re together. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for a long time. I grew up surrounded by them, but I was lucky enough to work with them as well. I've worked in a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant, as well as volunteered at dog rescues where I helped with rehabilitating dangerous large dogs. I've also worked at a doggie daycare center, where I was responsible for assigning dogs to play groups and monitoring their behavior to ensure their safety. Because of this, I've learned to effectively monitor dog behavior and body language to interpret when they are comfortable, scared, or need to be separated from other dogs. I have experience giving medications and insulin injections, and know how to be careful with older or injured dogs with limited mobility. I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I would be by your dog's side all day. Because of this it can be time for walkies or running around in the fenced yard basically any time doggo needs it. The door to the yard connects to the main living room, so if they want to bounce between being inside and outside it's easy to do so. My son and I also enjoy going for stroller walks around the neighborhood, so doggo gets to tag along with us for that as well to get some sniffs in. I have a fenced in yard for your dog to sprint around, and can take them for walks around the neighborhood. If your pup still gets bored we can take a car ride and go for some walks on nearby nature trails. In my home your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture with me, and could follow me around throughout the day if they were feeling clingy (like my dog). Dog toys are always scattered around the house, and your pup can help themselves. For boarding, dogs also sleep in the same bedroom as me so they will not be alone overnight. (Exceptions being the dog may sleep in a separate room if they have potty issues, as the bedroom is carpeted.) My standard poodle Eleanor will always be with us, and will occasionally want to play as well. She is typically pretty mellow (after initial meeting) and doesn't run around much, but occasionally she finds a dog she clicks with and will want to play chase with them around the yard if they reciprocate with her. Have an older dog? Don't worry, she is just as happy to lay around with them. ***We do have a baby in the home, which is important to note. Baby is never allowed to touch the guest doggos, and is never left unattended with your dog EVER. We may temporarily keep baby and dog separated in different rooms via a baby gate if the baby is crawling around as we get to know your dog and their reaction to the baby. I am very diligent when it comes to ensuring the safety and comfort of your dog while in the same house with a baby, and their interactions will be monitored and in most cases limited. If you know your dog is reactive to small children, please kindly understand our family home is not a good fit for them.

About: I had all kinds of pets while growing up and To earn extra money I often drop in at different neighbors houses to feed and play with their animals. I have experience with medium size dogs and cats as well as some farm animals. I comfortable with most breeds of dogs and enjoy spending time outside on walks around parks or neighborhoods. About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I understand that your dog may either be a nature pet or a couch potato, and I'm able to adapt to your pets needs depending on their personality. I'm clean, quiet, and active when need be. Cleanliness is a priority for me. Cleaning up waste properly and right away is a must, including picking up poop during walks.
About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years, and have always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired. I can come by during the day, including weekends and holidays, whatever works for you and your pet. Please note that I accept in-home stays that are a minimum of two nights. I can come to your home and stay, or visit to let your dog out, walk, or feed. Safety is a big factor and I'll do my best!

About: As a man with a strong love and passion for dogs, I have taken a lot of time to grow my understanding and experience working with these beautiful creatures many call our best friends! My experiences are: -Working at suburban animal hospital - years working at doggy daycare/ training facility’s - studied at animal behavior college for canine obedience training -dabbles in canine fitness - dabbles in canine holistic health and nutrition. I am currently doing pet care as a part time job but as my other endeavors of landscaping and martial arts is flexible, I would love to make a career out of my passion!
