About: I have taken care of a variety of pets my entire life, ranging from cats, dogs, rabbits and other small rodents. I have an open spare room which I use for separate housing if needed for case by case bases. I have three cats and a dog of my own that are spoiled beyond measure but the spare room comes in handy for new friends to be separated. I have worked as a waitress for the last 5 years but after suffering a shoulder injury I am currently looking for opportunities to work from home. I am currently only working one day or two out of the week, meaning I have just about complete open availability. I do my best to provide a safe environment for all of the pets I chose to bring into my home. I do have camera set up in each of my hall ways and living room where I can watch what my pets are doing while I am awhile. There are few times, if any, when I am not one on one with the animal during their time staying with me unless they personally prefer space but I try and keep an eye or camera on them at all times. Plenty of appropriate toys and treats will be provided. There is a closed off spare room provided for pets that need to be kept separate, as needed case by case. I have a medium sized yard that is not fenced in. For dog cases where appropriate I will bring pet to dog park that is close by. Mainly will be walked on leash on side streets and around the yard. Your pet will be treated as one of my own. I do want to mention 2 flights of stairs are required to get in to the building so while I’ll do my best to accommodate all animals, ones who struggle with stairs and need frequent yard time need to know.

About: Hi! I’m Sofey, and I work as a kennel technician in Scarborough, caring for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities every day. I’ve spent my entire life around animals—volunteering at shelters, helping out with farm animals, and caring for everything from puppies and kittens to senior pets, including guinea pigs, rabbits, and more. I’m experienced with walking, basic training, administering meds, and handling all kinds of temperaments. I live with my own sweet dog, Freddie, and two adorable guinea pigs, so I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Whether your pet is shy, playful, energetic, or just needs some extra love and patience, I’ve got them covered 💛 My schedule revolves around my job, which has no set days, but I work four 10-hour shifts a week, usually gone from about 6:00 AM to 5:30 PM including my commute. On my days off, I love focusing on caring for animals, whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or just spending quality time with them! I’m unable to offer pet sitting in my apartment due to a no pet policy, but I’m more than happy to pet sit in your home, stop by for walks, feeding, playtime, and whatever else your pet needs!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years before I became a stay at home mom to my daughter, Jordan I love this opportunity on Rover, because it joins my two favorite things—animals and the outdoors. This is a great way for me to teach my daughter animal husbandry. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible. My daughter usually tags along with me. She is also an animal lover. I currently do not own any pets so I am free to take care of other animals. If I need to check on an animal, I usually spend about an hour with them. (Letting them out, feeding and watering, snuggling). If I am walking, I will walk for an hour. Or an agreed time frame.

About: My background in animal science and time in the veterinary industry make me the ideal sitter for your pups safety and well being while you're away. I live on a small horse farm that I own and operate with my two dogs Petey and Boomer, and cat Willow. My home allows for various accommodations for your pets need whether that me hanging out with my pet or a relaxing space to themselves. I am able to take pet that may have medical requirements during their stay as well as with any other special needs. Potty breaks an be as frequent as they are needed. With that experience I am comfortable creating an environment for your nervous Nelly or high energy pup that needs time let off steam in the yard! On days that I go into the office pets staying with me can be left loose in their own room or crated/in a small pen as necessary. My office schedule is flexible and unless your pet is staying the full week I try to arrange my office days outside sitting days! I have a small fenced area as well as 7 acres for you pup to enjoy while on the farm. Depending on your pets need I have space to keep them separate from my own and other pets staying in the home or they can enjoy the company of others.

About: I have experience in training puppies. My own dog is a mix of high energy dog breeds so I have experience with those breeds as well. I work for my husband’s self employment business and can do walks during the week. I can be flexible with the time of day for walks. I have extra leashes if need be, and plenty of doggy bags. I have a pup of my own to keep your dog company. My husband will likely be on the walks as well so there would be another pair of eyes and hands to make sure all pups are well taken care of.

About: I’ve always loved animals. I grew up dog sitting and taking care of my aunts husky. My family had a husky when I was growing up as. I recently just got a puppy of my own. I’d be a great dog walker, playmate, companion for your pets. I’ve experience training obedience with my dog and a few others as a 4-H member in my teens. I’m incredibly easy going and passionate about the happiness of the dogs I’m taking care of, and prioritize their personal needs. I have some experience with cats as pets in home and watching them in yours. I’m hoping to have a more flexible schedule as I work to transition into being a full time artist. I currently work 30hrs a week, trying to transition to working for myself from home and open up my availability to walk and board client dogs. I'd love to have 2-3 regular dogs to walk weekly. Bailey loves her stays at the farm and Jessica sends pictures to us throughout her stay there. We would highly recommend Jessica M, she is a true animal lover.”

Ashley C.

“Ashley was great! She sent updates and a lot of pictures during her stay with Henry, and we came home to a content pup.”

Trinity J.
“Trinity has a connection with all animals almost instantly, in fact a bit bull terrier mix who had previously bitten a stranger met her for the first time, lunged at her, and while in the air with the dogs mouth wide open suddenly changed its mind and melted and acted like She had grown up with the dog. This is one of many stories about aggressive animals doing no harm and receiving no harm from her. She’s currently training an 8 year old stubborn Aussie mix new tricks almost monthly. If it’s an animal she can train it. Her positive reinforcement goes extremely well. She’s raised many animals including 5 flocks of chickens, reptiles, hedgehogs, rabbits, hamsters, cats, and her own siblings! As well as the rest of the zoo. Point is, she loves animals and they love her so if you’d place your animal in her care it will come home exercised and enriched. That’s how I want it. Look her up!”
