About: Ever since I was little I've preferred the company of pets over people. My first job was at petco as a sales associate then after in the grooming salon and there i blossomed into who I am now! Currently taking a break from work after my stroke and what better way to spend that down time than cuddling with your babies? My favorite thing to do is work with animals and it truly does not feel like work to me. I dont have a fenced in yard so all walks are on leash. I do have long lines for times they need to stretch their legs and will be adding seperated fenced in areas for the dogs to have some safe secure fun in the good weather times.
“Tracy and her dogs are so sweet and took great care of my pup! He was super excited to go back after the first day, and he came home very tired! I would definitely recommend Tracy!”

“Lexie was great with communication. Huck had a great day with the other dogs! I appreciated that she rinsed him off before I picked him up too. He had fun in the run and got a bit dirty. :). Loved the horses, goats and chickens. Will use again- only drawback is location isn’t very close to my home.”

“Nicole and Telly are AMAZING!!!! They have helped me and my dogs through an incredibly stressful transition moving across country. They treat my dogs like part of the family! My girls look forward to spending their day with them and their dog Apollo. The dogs wrestle together, bask in the sunshine, roll in the yard and go on long walks. When I pick them up they are POOPED and sleep the whole 20 min back to the Airbnb that we are currently staying in. This is so helpful for one of my dogs who has massive anxiety issues, because she’s too tired to stress about all of the changes we’re going through. Nicole, Telly and their kids truly love animals and are fabulous caregivers! I feel so fortunate to have found them!🙏🏻”

About: Hi, my name is Sergii. I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for over 35 years. Now I have 2 dogs: a poodle and a boxer. My wife and I love dogs and they love us. We treat our dogs more like family members than pets. We know how it’s difficult to be away from your pup, regardless if it is only a couple of hours or days. We are a team - two very experienced dog owners. We have experience with senior dogs&cats, and pets with special needs; dogs&cats who are highly anxious, and pets who are hyper activity and need a lot of care and attention. Now we put our animal expertise to our small business for pet services. We aim to ensure your dog receives just as much love and care as it does in your presence. I’m willing to feed, walk and play with your dogs when you are not available. My schedule changes from week to week, as I’m still engaged in the transportation of pets, so always have wife for backup. We really care about healthy life style and guarantee the best care for them. I certified the American Red Cross for pet first aid as well. All animals under my care are insured, insurance policy included veterinarian reimbursement. Meeting new animal friends is something that will always bring me joy. Your dog will be in the professional and loving care when under my watch. If I sound like someone you could trust to care for your fur babies, please send me message. DROP-IN VISIT (At your house) I can go to your home multiple times per day to feed your pets food/water, go outside to potty & play, administer medications, etc. Just let me know how many times per day you’d like me to drop-in to check up on your pets/how much time you’d like me to spend while there and what you’d like me to do during drop-in visits and I will make it happen. A care summary report and photos of my drop-in visit with your pets will be sent after each drop-in. DOGGIE WALKS Walks are 30 minutes long, but can also include playtime if requested (e.g 20 minute walk + 10 minutes of play time). Meals, treats, water, and medication can be given before or after the walk if requested, just let me know and I would be more than happy to do that. A care summary report and photos from our walk will be sent after each walk. HOUSE SITTING I can care for your animals in your own home by ensuring your animals are safe and well cared for. I'll spend as much time with your pet as needed so that they have a true companion in your absence. I believe that the best pet care is done when your pet is in his/her own surroundings. I make sure gates and doors are closed and locked when needed, I follow safety checks in the home to ensure your pets are protected. In my clients home I will happily comply with any instructions to keep your pups safe. Anything that is needed for your fur babies!
“Qais is the perfect rover! Qais was very kind and compassionate to my dogs needs and had awesome communication skills. Qais send picture and videos as well as daily updates. About: Having shared my home with every kind of pet since I was a child, I bring a deep, intuitive understanding to pet care that goes beyond the basics. This extensive experience has given me a special skill for navigating the unique challenges of both ends of the spectrum: I excel at the positive reinforcement needed for training energetic puppies and have the gentle, patient touch required to provide comfort and specialized care for senior pets. When you entrust me with your furry family member, you're choosing a sitter who offers not just reliability, but a genuine, experienced friendship for your pet I have the wonderful luxury of a completely open schedule, which allows me to make pet care my top priority. This means your pet gets my undivided attention, and I can be there for them consistently throughout the day, every day. My approach to in-home pet care is to provide seamless, consistent care while maintaining your pet's normal routine. I minimize their stress by keeping them in their familiar environment. If needed to stay in your own home. If they were to come to my home: I have 3 young kids, however if necessary to be away from kids we could do in your home. When pets stay with me, they become part of my family. My home is a safe, loving, and pet-centric environment where they receive constant attention.
About: Hi! My name is Paige, and I’m passionate about animals and dedicated to providing top-quality care for your pets. As a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent to three amazing dogs, I know just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I’m basically a full-time dog mom and part-time pet care superhero. My three pups rule the house and have taught me everything I know about unconditional love, playtime, and the fine art of treat distribution! I treat every pet I care for like one of my own—with love, attention, and respect. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just a little extra TLC, I’m here to help keep your pets happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away. I am a stay at home mom and a certified veterinary technician so I am always home and available for you and your pets. I have a very open and flexible schedule. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. I have a large, securely fenced-in yard with plenty of space for your furry friend to run, play, and explore in a safe, open environment. I share my home with three of my own beloved pets, each with their own designated areas to ensure everyone’s comfort and compatibility. They’re friendly and playful, and happy to socialize if your pet enjoys company—but I always respect each animal’s individual needs and boundaries. One of my pups is a bit of a grumpy gentleman, so he has his own peaceful space to relax in, away from the action. I provide a spacious shop building for them to sleep in, with plenty of room for crates of all sizes. The space features concrete floors for easy cleaning, excellent airflow, and multiple fans to keep it cool and well-ventilated. The temperature stays comfortably cool, even during warmer days. For added peace of mind, the area is monitored with a security camera, and I personally do a nightly walk-through to check on each pet and make sure they’re safe and settled for the night. I’m home full-time, so your pet will never be short on supervision, attention, or affection. Whether they’re seeking playtime, cuddles, or just a calm and caring presence, I’m here to provide the love and companionship they deserve.
About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.

“Jennifer and her husband were so kind and made me feel so comfortable with my first Rover experience! They have a great fenced in backyard for dogs to play in, and their dogs are very sweet. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a sitter!”

“Teia had a great time and came home ready for a nap. Lyndsay sent beautiful pictures which we will treasure. And really appreciate her flexibility and agreeing to our last minute request for daycare. See you soon!”

“Jessica was amazing! She helped out last-minute when my other sitter canceled. She asked questions to make sure she had all info needed for Cooper. Communicated throughout the day and sent lots of pictures. Clean house and even went extra the before Cooper came over to make sure any small things were picked up off the floor since he’s a puppy and puts everything in his mouth. Her kids were an absolutely delight for Cooper to play with. Will definitely use her services again!”

“She is such a wonderful person! We had great communication, and she always kept me updated on how my puppy was doing. She sent me pictures and videos every day, which I really appreciated. I definitely recommend her! 🫶”

“Buttercup had a great time with Kira and friends. She came back happy, tired, and well taken care of. Kira was friendly and helpful with our new baby fears. Buttercup will be back for sure?”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little, growing up my grandma had a lot of dogs which started my love for them. I have taken care of many stray dogs around my area, i’ve also dog sitted for many local people in my hometown neighborhood. I’ve handled cats, rabbits, horses, and even turtles lol. Small or big , Reptile or mammal I love them all unconditionally :). I currently just got out of the military, so my schedule is always free. I’m available monday-friday maybe even during the weekend. I don’t really take too many trips so I could be available during holidays as well. I have a fenced in backyard where your fur baby is free to play whenever. I have 3 fur babies of my own, very friendly to other animals and they love to play. I also interact with them outside daily so if your fur baby loves to play he or she will have lots of company to do so.
“Caroline was a gem we are so thankful we were able to find her with such short notice since we were in town for my brothers army graduation and glad she was able to work with us and our fur baby. We can tell Toby( our fur baby) just had an amazing time with her and the other pups she was very appreciative to him and updated us throughout his day. Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your North commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
