“This is the first time I have ever written an online review for anything. However, I have decided, in this case, a review is very much warranted. I needed a cat sitter for two trips that were only a few weeks apart. From my first meeting with Heather prior to my first trip to return home after my second trip, I never once worried about the care my cats were receiving. She was an absolute delight to work with. From the very first request to cat sit the communication was phenomenal. I loved that she didn't try to "force" herself onto my shyer cats like so many people try to do. She knew some cats will only accept you on their own terms with their own timeline. Heather was kind enough to roll my trash can to the street for pick up day and move it back to the house afterwards, and she washed up cat dishes even though I told her originally that she didn't have to do that! For those that are looking at costs, yes there are some sitters that have cheaper prices. I am also here to tell you that you will absolutely not regret booking Heather for your pet care needs. You will not worry if you know she is in charge of your fur babies. She does not treat pet sitting as a nice side job to make extra money. Heather knows she is responsible for members of your family and she takes that job very seriously. I will absolutely use Heather again in the future, as long as she is able and willing as well. Thank you, Heather!”

“Leslie did drop in visits with our two boys, Oliver and Junior (aka AC Slater), and did a great job. The photos and videos were very welcome and toward the end of the week Oliver was falling in love! Leslie kept us informed as to their behavior and eating patterns, which we really appreciated. I would rebook with Leslie in a heartbeat!”

About: I've taken care of multiple types of animals over the years! Dogs, cats, birds, bugs, reptiles, rodents, amphibians and fish! Much of my experience comes from working at PetSmart and owning most of these animals myself! I have 2 Rottweiler/Husky mixes, 2 cats, a cornsnake, 5 birds (Sun Conure, Green Cheek Conure, Cockatiel, and 2 Budgies!), 3 axolotls, one tank of Koi and Goldfish, and another tank of tropical fish! I currently work part-time at PetSmart as a pet caretaker! I have Thursdays off, but my work schedule doesn't normally get in the way. I always wait for an animal to greet me first to avoid stressing the pet out. I normally have calming chews and treats on me to try to encourage the animal that I am not a threat.
“Chantal did an exceptional job caring for my 3 babies. She went above and beyond in every way, and I felt completely at ease knowing they were in her care. My dogs absolutely loved her, and she treated them with so much love, patience, and attention. She did everything and more, and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and truly amazing with pets.”

“Demi did absolutely amazing with my foster cat Benito! This was my first Rover experience, and I had full peace of mind while I was away because of Demi’s promptness, communication, and enthusiasm. She sent detailed updates and so many photos for each drop-in and even left a printed collage of some of the pictures she took of Benny 🥲 Would not hesitate to recommend Demi for loving pet care and will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

“Aly did an excellent job with our pups! We loved the pictures she took and her communication with us was very good as well! We are hoping to utilize her services again soon!”

“Lindsey was great with our pets! She was on time, stayed for a good visit, was amazing with our senior bulldog who is particular with strangers and needs a slow introduction to care givers. He loved her, and the high energy puppies got their dinner and a great bit of break outside. Thank you so much!!”

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and care for their pets. As a pet owner myself I understand the loving care that needs to go into our furry loved one. I am currently a Stay at home mom with flexible hours to provide care for your furry family member. I’m available 7 days a week. I believe in spending time with your loved one and making them feel loved is so important while their owners are away. Lots of Snuggles, playtime and walks!
“Lauren was great. We went out of town for 2 days and she communicated at every step. We have a new dog who requires medication, on short notice and there were no issues. Will be using her help in the future.”

Well I am definitely that reliable person for your loving family members!!!! I will always make sure your animals are safe no matter what. I will walk your dogs on a leash. Your animal will be my number one concern!!!!
“This is our second time using Cynthia! She was amazing yet again and we can tell by how happy our pup is! She was great also with a last minute visit. We appreciate her so much and are grateful she took care of our fur baby so well!”

I currently work at a dog boarding facility so I am very familiar with canine needs! I grew up with various breeds of dogs AND cats so animals are nothing new to me :) I work full-time at a Dog Boarding Facility! I am also able to dog pet boarding at my home or yours, which ever you are comfortable with! “Michelle is absolutely wonderful! I cannot recommend her enough. She is reliable, thorough, and caring with pets! You can tell she has a true love for the animals she cares for. She took amazing care of my elderly dachshund, going above and beyond to make sure I knew he was doing well each day, and he loved her! She can be trusted to care for your furry friends ☺️”

About: I have had dogs my entire life. Cats since I was 11. I have ridden and worked with horses since I was 5. I do all my animals vetting minus their rabies vaccinations. I have a senior Husky, a three year old German Shepherd and an eleven month old Pitbull/German shepherd mix. I have a ball python as well as two eight year old tuxedo cats. I love them all! All my babies are spoiled rotten and I share in the spoils! I currently stay at home and I'm a football mom so I have an open schedule around practices and games to take care of needs of others! I currently do not offer boarding as I do not have a fence. My dogs and I love to lounge around, play and adventure the yard for all the new smells. My babies have my full house to roam and are only put up when I leave as they are mischievous and get themselves into trouble. We go out every few hours to potty and roam the yard to smell all the smells, because you never know who has been in the yard in the last two hours! We must patrol! Lots of walks and toys! In your home, it is whatever you and your pet need! Walks, playtime, medication, pop-ins.
About: I have over six years of experience in animal care and am eager to continue my career. My goal is to work at a veterinary clinic or hospital, or establish my own mobile grooming business after completing grooming school. In my previous role at Sobo Dog Daycare, I gained experience maintaining a safe environment for dogs and recognizing canine body language and behaviors. I'm currently working from home part time as well as doing this part time. My hours are flexible and I'm usually always able to adjust my schedule to accommodate to my rover clients schedule! I can provide care to both, long stays at clients residence or I can provide boarding services in my home!! Whatever is the best for the client and also for the pet parent as well! If im boarding I suggest bringing anything that is favorable, toy or bed, blanket ect its easier for them to get adjusted to the new environment if they have something familiar from home with them.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Nollville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
