About: Hi, I have taken care of my own pets and other people's pets for years. I moved to Mid coast ME 5 yrs ago from Nantucket. I am also a professional gardener, so if you need watering etc while your away. I am currently self employed, so I have a flexible schedule. We can figure out a plan for your pet care. Look forward in planning w you. I have a dog Elka and 2 cats. Elka is easy going dog who loves other dogs and cats. I think the best way is to have the dogs meet and see how things go w them before a care schedule can begin. We have also traveled and cared for other dogs in their homes and everyone gets along.

About: I am available and have a very flexible schedule. I have raised my own dog for many years and love to tend to others as well. Responsibility, reliability and trustworthiness are guaranteed along with ensured fun and care. I care for my own dog with daily walks, and basic care such as feeding and playful fun. I have been doing this for most of my life because of my pets and would love to do it for others. For my pet, I put him in a harness and on a leash when going on walks and going potty. In a different house that’s more secluded with more landscape, I allow him to roam freely with cautious eyes. For my clients, it depends on what they prefer whether it’s keeping them on a harness or allowing them to roam freely as well.

About: I have always been an avid dog lover, and have been blessed by the bond I’ve formed with my own dogs through the years. I love learning more about dog behavior and am constantly striving to learn how to be the best pet parent I can be. I have experience with puppies, reactive dogs, and senior dogs needing medication. I will treat your dog ad if they are my own: being loving, protective, and reinforcing training, if wanted. As long as we communicate, I’m sure I’ll be able to provide a wonderful respite for you and your pups. I currently WFH, making my schedule fairly flexible. I ensure that the pups in my care are getting their desired exercise needs. I will generally only be gone for a maximum of 4 hours. I have an unfenced yard away from any traffic. Whenever the dogs are outside, I’m close enough keep a watchful eye and ear out if they ever need support.

I love to work with puppies on their sit and stays (or really anything you might want assistance with). I can be sure to keep the training going! Nothing is better than a well trained dog! I currently work Monday-Friday but am happy to do evenings/overnights or even weekends for your favorite loved ones! I can also stay overnight during the week as well and go back after I’m out of work if that is ok with you and your pets schedule!! We have a 1 yr old lab who loves to play and is happy to if your pets allow it! We don’t use a leash on him at home as we live in the woods but if your dog is a runner I will keep them on a leash so we don’t have any issues. We have a run we can hook them on to play outside if they prefer to not be on a leash. Lastly our favorite place to hangout is in our basement because our big guy can run around and be in a safe place!
