About: Hi, I have taken care of my own pets and other people's pets for years. I moved to Mid coast ME 5 yrs ago from Nantucket. I am also a professional gardener, so if you need watering etc while your away. I am currently self employed, so I have a flexible schedule. We can figure out a plan for your pet care. Look forward in planning w you. I have a dog Elka and 2 cats. Elka is easy going dog who loves other dogs and cats. I think the best way is to have the dogs meet and see how things go w them before a care schedule can begin. We have also traveled and cared for other dogs in their homes and everyone gets along.

About: We each have over 8 years of experience caring for dogs and cats for family and friends. We truly love animals and enjoy giving them dependable, loving care while your away! We both have flexible schedules, so pet care fits easily into our daily routine. We’re home most of the day, which allows us to give pets regular walks, playtime, and attention. We follow all instructions, keep a secure environment, and make sure pets are always supervised, especially on walks or outdoors. About: Hi, I'm a Wildlife Conservation, Animal Behavior and Biology undergrad that LOVES being outside! I have grown up alongside animals my entire life, and I know how to recognize behavioral signs before the reactions occur. I have experience with all ages and breeds of dogs, cats, barnyard friends, and exotic reptiles/birds/mammals etc... I am very seasoned in the patience department, and I love making fun puzzles with treats or toys. I frequently go on long walks/runs with energetic animals, and I've got a mean overhand throw that is guaranteed to tire them out! With senior animals, I like to read out loud to them and sunbathe out in the yard (if they are outdoor pets). I am also able to take pups out on field trips to the beach and hikes :) I live by the fact that all animals deserve the upmost respect, love, and support. I have dedicated my life to conserve the animals that populate the Earth and the habitat they depend on. I look forward to the next adventure with you and your pet! I am incredibly flexible with my travel radius and scheduling, reach out with any questions! I am available every day of the week unless the space is booked. I simply ask for open communication and kindness when scheduling/canceling. I will be here until Feb 5th, then I am leaving for study abroad in Australia until June 29th. About: I had beagles growing up and was totally fascinated by them and they brought a big smile to my face with their antics. Later on, I adopted a red Doberman female dog and loved her to pieces taking her on all sort of outdoor adventures - she was highly athletic! I had a poodle who was a bit shy but nevertheless I gave her a great life with endless throwing of the ball for fetch and taking care of her when she went blind - older poodles have that tendency. I have a 11 year old cockapoo who is lean and trim and well loved! Yes could have used more training but what an awesome, well adjusted dog who is super friendly as I my two year old female cocker spaniel who is an absolute joy of sweetness. I have integrity, I think quick on my feet and am very responsible having raised a family and pets. I am a dog whisperer who can tune into all different kinds of dogs and dispositions. I am a semi retired man and so have much more free time. I love outdoor adventures and sunshine and I know dogs do too! First off, every dog is different and has his or her own quirks from dietary to social interactions with other dogs. It’s great to love dogs but it’s also important to provide them structure and pay good attention to their health needs. Not every dog is cut out for lengthy walks so I tailor the experience to whatever brings the dog most joy!

About: Hello my name is Brooke! I am a recent high school graduate at I will be attending college at Smcc studying early childhood, I will be commuting to and from daily ( this makes me have a pretty flexible schedule to help! )I am free most days of the week and have 2 German Shepard dogs of my own ! I also have grown up around dogs the last 18 years of my life. Something that sets me apart from the other sitters is that I have experience with senior dog care and being able to take it slow, or if you have the complete opposite dog im able to meet their energy needs as well. I have handled big dogs that are reactive, have sensitive triggers, and small dogs of the same, im able to meet their needs! I do not at this time do overnight stays, im okay with coming to hangout and play, take them outside, or feed the dogs or cats but I will not be staying in the home. Looking forward to hearing from you! I am a newly graduate from Morse high school and I will be going to Smcc to study early childhood development and in my off time I enjoy dogs and cats a lot that I choose to help others who may need help in my off time from school, this makes me have a very flexible schedule. I prioritise making a safe environment for every pet in my care, in your home or out on a walk, I take the time to understand their routines and get to know them. For dog owners, I am very confident in walking big and small dogs, those who may have reactivity or need extra leash awareness making them enjoyable for the animal. For cat owners, I will be able to stop in for a time limit we discus and meet the needs of the cat for the day, I make sure each cat feels safe while you are away.

About: Currently I am between caregiving clients trying to decide what my next move is. I was born into an animal loving family, extended family, etc. I am 59 years old and have never been without at least a cat or two. I've also had 2 of my own dogs since 2005. My last senior dog passed the rainbow bridge in 2024. Born in Connecticut, lived for 45 years in Maryland and now I am living in Maine where I love it! One reason I fell in love with Maine is you can bring your dog almost anywhere here. They are a pet loving no-kill state! I have administered just about every kind of pet med out there. Every single pet has their own personality and I am very patient to learn that personality so we will become friends. I have a pretty open schedule with no real deadlines, so when ever your pets need walks, feeding, medications or just spend time with them, I am there. My own pets get feed twice a day. The time varies depending on my pet sitting schedule. But usually Its about 10am and 7pm. Whatever instructions left for me for a pet sit, I will follow to the letter. I will ask questions or text later to make sure I understand everything your pet needs. I've never run into an animal not liking me, but I am very aware of them not be comfortable with me at first. That can be stressful for them of course, so its very important that their care instructions are followed to keep them as anxiety free as possible.

About: Iv been raising newborn kittens and fish my entire life. I grew up with big dogs too! Past co-workers would often say I have a funny personality and a calm demeanor. My attention to detail is my strongest skill. I have done volunteer work for camp sunshine, the animal refugees, and we run a youth group called Gaming for Christ. Im an artsy person; im in college for horticulture and I hope to work as an agricultural specialist. Veterinary assistant experience from York County Community College. About: I've had dogs, usually one at a time, my entire life. My current dog, Rupert, was adopted from a shelter. Rupert has enriched my life so very much. I know that my wife, the spare parent, is just a bit jealous of how much Rupert and I love each other. I'm working at a job with flexible hours. I would be available for pet care during times when I'm not working my other job. It would be great to be able to coordinate pet care jobs near my human care job. I make sure my dog goes outside for walks, and to go to the bathroom, several times a day. I also like to take Rupert on longer walks on nearby trails at preserves. I make sure he is well fed and watered. Lots of cuddle time. For Lucy, the cat, I am the one that feeds her and takes care of the litter box. Lucy cuddles with the wife more than with me, but still plenty of cuddles and play time together.
