Over: I've had family dogs growing up and was always the one to feed them, walk them or generally take care of them. I got my first dog 11 years ago and it's been the best thing to ever happen to me. We added a second dog almost 10 years ago. My first boy made me a dog owner and my second has made me a dog trainer. I've read lots of dog training books and work with my boys everyday using positive reinforcemen. I love taking them hiking, camping, to the dog park or just to the coffee shop. I'm passionate about making sure they get activity every single day and would love to help other dogs do the same. My younger dog is good at playing with small and medium dogs. Despite their age, they're still very active. We walk 10km a day and play.

Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

Over: Hey, I’m Ellen! 🌱 I’m originally from China, and I’ve just completed my Master’s degree in Gender Studies in Utrecht. Before moving to the Netherlands, I spent four wonderful years with my beloved silver-shaded British Shorthair cat, Yuwan. I was there from the moment they were born and watched them grow up, taking care of all the little details of daily life. Through this experience, I truly learned how comforting and meaningful mutual companionship with a cat can be. Living in the Netherlands has also given me a different perspective—being separated from a deeply loved cat. I understand that sweet but constant concern: wondering whether they’ve eaten well, whether their living space is clean and safe, and whether they feel happy and energetic. Because of this, I really relate to fellow cat parents, and I would love to help take good care of your cat so you can be away from home with peace of mind. I am currently a freelancer, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I am generally available on weekdays, and on weekends my availability tends to be more open in the mornings. I am also happy to block out time slots in advance or adjust my schedule based on your specific needs. Back in my hometown, I have a cat whom I have raised for five years. Since we live on a high floor, I am mindful of securing doors and windows to keep him safe. I also pay close attention to adjusting the indoor temperature according to the seasons, to maintain the consistently comfortable environment he has grown up in. Beyond that, I am good at reading a cat's personality — whether they are affectionate and clingy or energetic and playful, I am always happy to spend time with them in the way they enjoy most. Finally, I am also experienced in hands-on cat care, including trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing coats, and applying medication when needed, helping them stay healthy and comfortable.

Over: I am working remotely. I am happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel relaxed while your pet is with me. Cleanliness, attention and good communication are very important to me. I am a responsible, organised and patient person. I currently have a rescued dog myself, which also taught me a lot about trust, routines and understanding different animal personalities.

Over: Hi! My name is Palm. I am from Thailand and I graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I am currently studying for my master’s degree in Utrecht. I do not have formal work experience as a dog or cat sitter yet, because this kind of job is not very common in my home country. However, during my veterinary studies, I gained hands-on experience taking care of animals, including walking dogs at the animal hospital, helping with basic care, and observing their behavior and wellbeing. I am definitely a dog person, but I also love cats. Being around dogs and cats always makes me happy, and I feel that animals can heal the heart in such a special way. I am calm, responsible, gentle, and happy to follow each owner’s instructions carefully. I’m currently a master’s student, so my schedule can be quite flexible. On the days I don’t have classes, I’m happy to take care of your pets, whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company. Spending time with animals also gives me a lot of positive energy. For now, I mainly offer pet care at the owner’s home or dog walking. I will always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walking preferences, medication if needed, and any safety rules. I will make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved, and I can also send updates and photos during my visit.

Over: I’ve taken care of dogs pretty much my whole life, as my family has always owned dogs. As an adult, I’ve taken care of two puppies and a senior dog. On this app, I have Dogsitter many dogs, both for short and long periods of time. I love playing with dogs, helping with basic training, and can walk, feed and brush dogs. I’m away from my dog for a few months and miss her so much, so I’d love to get some time with some doggies. I work remotely and am quite flexible during the week, and I’m able to dedicate tons of time to walking, playing and taking care of pets during the weekend and after 5pm on workdays. As a pet owner I’ve always taken feeding very seriously, so I would make sure to feed your dog only what you feel comfortable with. I would make sure to watch the dogs if they’re playing with toys and make sure they’re not getting into trouble.

Over: I have house sat for multiple pets: cats, dogs of multiple species. I myself have two pitbulls so I am experienced with caring for larger dogs. As a university student, I have windows in time in which I am free to either pop by and check in on a pet, or take your dog for a quick walk. Generally, this time is in the afternoon or evening on week-days, but weekends (and Friday) are more free. I can use the resources available in order to best take care of a pet. I am excellent at following instructions, and understand the importance of details in taking care of an animal!

Over: Vanaf dat ik een baby was hebben we altijd katten en poezen in huis gehad. Soms meerdere katten en heel vaak ook uit het asiel, vaak met een gebruiksaanwijzing. Een aantal jaren ook mogen genieten van een prachtige New Foundlander die als herplaatste hond hele fijne jaren bij heeft gehad. Wegens de ervaring met dit hele grote hondenras vind ik elke (formaat) hond leuk. Inmiddels ben ik verhuisd en ik mis het gezelschap van dieren enorm. Ik deel een huis met een vriendin en zijn allebei masterstudenten. Ik ben laatstejaars masterstudent en werk daarnaast parttime in een koffietentje. Ik kan dagelijks lang de dieren of even met de hond gaan wandelen of een knuffel geven. Ook kan ik op locatie (bij iemand thuis) werken met mijn laptop Heel graag dieren om mij heen, gewend om met dieren om te gaan. Bovendien heb ik veel geduld met dieren en kan ik ze goed lezen.
