Kattenoppas in Nieuwegein

Over: Hey My name is Martha and I'm originally from Germany but came to Utrecht to study. I'm a Student at the University of Utrecht. Because I have a pretty chill schedule, I like to spend all the time the I have outside. Because I can not have my own pet right now as my flat is too small, I'm looking for a companion to spend my time with outside. I grew up with cats in my life but always had a special love for dogs. Since I can remember I would always take the dogs in my neighbourhood out for walks and take care of them for a weekend. I've never had my own but I spend all the time I could with the dogs of friends around me, giving me the option to learn a lot about them and also learning how to train them. And because I don't have the option of having my own pet right now, I'm looking for options to spend at least some of my time with any animal possible. You can see my passion for animals also with horses, as I've been doing Horseriding since I was 4 and I just spend a couple of moths in Iceland, training young Icelandic horses as well as a young giant German schnauzer girl. I speak fluent English and German, and I understand Dutch completely but I'm still learning how to speed it fluently. I have a very loose schedule regarding my uni which gives me a lot of time to spend outside or with your pet. Giving that I only have about 2 hours of class per day, I can work around those lessons and take the dogs out during the other hours of the day or of course visit them at home. Same with the cats or any other animal. Only when I don’t have class, I would offer a full day of care, as I do not want to leave the dogs home alone. And I’m completely free most of the weekends. We I am pretty flexible when it comes to home visits, as I bike practically everywhere. Because my schedule allows it, I can also spend a lot of time with the animals in their home, play with them and feed them. I’m also comfortable giving medication if needed. I live in a big apartment with my partner with a little balcony. It’s pretty good for dogs and cats there as they have a lot of space to roam around and furthermore, I have a lot of options to go on walks outside. I have 2 big parks 15 min walk from my house which is perfects for nice long walks.

Over: I have experience with taking care of my uncle’s dog from time to time, and generally really like animals! Doggies are so friendly and require a lot of interaction, I am up for the challenge! I am currently working part time, only 1-2 days a week, which give me plenty of free time to play with your loved ones! With more experience, I'd ove home board as well:3 I guess you can call my apartment a free range roaming area for your pet! With approximately 85 sq meters of space, your fur baby can explore all they want!

Over: I have many years of experience caring for pets, and what truly sets me apart is my patience, dedication, and genuine love for animals. I live with five senior dogs whom I love as if they were my children, so I am very familiar with the special routines they require: from gentle care, constant companionship, and medication, to a very respectful and affectionate approach. I have also cared for younger, more active and playful dogs, so I can easily adapt to their energy levels and personalities. Over: I have experience walking big reactive dogs so small ones are not a problem. Also have experience training puppies as well as taking care of elder dogs. I’m currently a PhD student working at the Hubrecht Institute. My big dog recently passed away and would love to take care of other dogs. I have plenty of time in the weekends as well as evenings! Over: Mijn hele leven ben ik al gek op dieren. Nu heb ik zelf 2 katten. Ik ben gek op honden maar heb er zelf geen tijd voor! Ik heb regelmatig in de ochtend tijd om te zorgen voor huisdieren omdat mijn kinderen naar school gaan. Helemaal zin in! Zo leuk om te doen! Ik vind het heerlijk om met dieren te knuffelen of te spelen. Zorgen dat ze zich comfortabel voelen en genoeg te eten en drinken hebben.

Over: I have various experiences in looking after many types of animals with differing personalities, needs and ages. I am knowledgeable in first aid for animals and medical and behavior of pets. I am currently doing an internship part time, so I am pretty flexible with working times after 17:00 on particular work days, but mostly free on the weekends! Over: I have worked as a Rover dog and cat sitter in New York, Washington DC, and Now here in the Netherlands. I have 2 different places, one in Amsterdam and one in Utrecht so I'm extremely flexible and I have so much experience with following the needs of your pets as needed. I have a very early schedule so I am always home from 1 PM- to the evening for any drop in visits, boarding, etc. I speak Spanish as well so I can speak to any multilingual pets. My neighborhood is extremely pet friendly and so much space and grass for nice peaceful walks and extremely accessible to trams and metro to go to any place needed and not too far from the vet if there's an emergency!

Ik pas op in en in de buurt van het centrum en kom graag langs om je kat(ten) aandacht te geven of de hond uit te laten. Zet in je aanvraag daarom alsjeblieft ook waar in Utrecht je ongeveer woont. Bij een bezoek aan katten zorg ik voor de standaard zaken als voer, water en de kattenbak, en op verzoek zijn ook dingen als de post of planten water geven geen probleem. Ik blijf minstens 25 - 30 minuten, en naast de praktische zaken zal ik je kat vooral veel aandacht geven om hun dag te verrijken. Afhankelijk van waar je kat behoefte aan heeft kan dat aandacht en aaien zijn, maar ook flink spelen met een speelhengel, zodat ze lekker afgemat en moe zijn, en voldaan een groot deel van de dag wegslapen. Na elk bezoek stuur ik een update met hoe het gegaan is. Ik heb ervaring met alle kattenkarakters - van de relaxedte zelfverzekerde kat die zich in elke situatie wel redt tot de angstige kat die vooral ruimte en voorspelbaarheid wil. Mijn huidige kat is een schat, maar hij komt uit het asiel met een moeilijk verleden. Ook bied ik hondenuitlaatservice aan. Ik hou van wandelen en ga graag op pad met je hond, om te zorgen dat deze lekker zijn energie kwijt kan. Niets leuker dan met een maatje op pad! Depending on what your cat needs, this could be attention and petting, but also a lot of playing with a toy rod, so that they are nice and tired and contently sleep and doze away the rest of the afternoon. I have experience with all cat characters - from the relaxed, confident cat who can manage himself in almost any situation, to the anxious cat who mainly wants space and peace. My current cat is a sweetheart, but I really had to gain his trust after he came from the animal shelter with a difficult past. I also offer dog walking services. I like going for walks myself and walking with a buddy is much more fun! I like to make sure your dog has a good time and can let out all of his or her energy! I only walk dogs without big behavioural issues. I also use a similar platform as rover for my own cat for holidays and weekends away, so I know from experience how nice it is when you know that your cat or dog gets the right attention when you go away for a few days. Over: I have always had furry friends next to me ever since I was little, I currently have 3 cats of my own at home in Mexico and they are the loves of my life.
