Kattenoppas in Houten

“De katten waren gelijk op hun gemak bij Marijne, zelfs onze bangerikje die normaal onder het bed springt wanneer er mensen van buitenaf komen, kwam uit haar hand eten. We hebben voor Marijne gekozen vanwege haar ervaring met prikken met een injectiespuitje. 1 vd katten heeft insuline nodig op vaste tijden. Marijne neemt de tijd om de katten aan haar te laten wennen.”

Over: Ik ben vanuit mijn ouderlijk huis opgegroeid met honden en nog steeds. Ik werk partime in de ochtend, waardoor ik veel aandacht kan geven aan wandelingen en aandacht met alle liefde. Ik werk part-time en alleen in de ochtend tot half 12. Ik wil graag oppassen op honden en katten, ik heb daar alle tijd overdag. Ik woon 1 hoog. De hond moet wel kunnen traplopen of opgetild worden om naar boven 1 trap. Ik bied oppas aan in mijn eigen huis of eventueel in eigen omgeving van het dier.

Over: I've taken care of rabbits, turtles, guinnea pigs, goats, cats, dogs, and birds, chickens, and I enjoy the time I get to spend with them. Unfortunately, due to moving, residency permissions, and a few other reasons, I am currently not a caregiver to any pets. But luckily yours is is need of care😊 Setting up and following basic principles of home safety for the animals to be able to live in the safest enviornment. Also being aware of underlying health issues and general health information provided by the owner or vet.

Over: I grew up in a big countryside house in Brazil. Me and family had many dogs, including a Great Dane, Akita, Doberman, Blue Heeler, German Shepherd, mixed, and cats. So I'm not afraid of any size. I always believed in treating dogs with kindness and patience, so even my Doberman is the sweetest dog we have. I have also experienced taking caring of puppies, dogs with cancer, dogs with epilepsy, and special treatments. I'm a student at Utrecht University so my schedule is very flexible. Over: Nederlands Ik heb mijn hele leven katten gehad. Ik erken de verschillende identiteiten die deze dieren kunnen hebben en ik respecteer elke soort persoonlijkheid. Ik heb veel ervaring met dieetvoorkeuren en gezondheidsproblemen bij katten, zoals nierfalen, blaasontsteking, kalkziekte, eetproblemen en tandproblemen. Door deze ervaringen heb ik er geen problemen mee om katten medicijnen of een speciaal dieet te geven. English I have had cats my whole life. I recognize the different identities these animals can have, and I respect every kind of personality. The cats around me have had health issues, such as kidney failure, bladder infection, lime disease, eating issues, and tooth problems. Because of all this experience, I have no trouble giving medicine or a special diet to cats. Nederlands Ik ben een voltijdstudent aan de Universiteit Utrecht, maar mijn studie is grotendeels zelfstudie. Hierdoor heb ik veel vrije tijd op elk moment van de dag. Mijn studiewerk kan ik overal mee naartoe nemen en kan ik ook in mijn vrije tijd doen. Mijn rooster verandert elke twee maanden, dus de komende maanden ben ik op de meeste woensdagen, vrijdagen, zaterdagen en donderdagen beschikbaar, maar dit kan begin februari veranderen. I can bring my study work everywhere and I can also do it in my spare time. Ik begrijp hoe katten werken en zal een kat nooit dwingen iets te doen wat hij of zij niet wil doen (behalve medicijnen innemen). I understand how cats work and will never force a cat to do something that he or she doesn't want to do (except take medicine). I am very respectful of the cat's wishes :)

Over: As cliche as it sounds, I must admit that from my childhood, I’ve always seen myself as a dog lover. My family’s first adoptee, Tom, became a mischievous best friend of mine and I greatly enjoyed spending over 6 years of my life with him. From then on, we’ve adopted two more dogs, and fostered many more. Based on this, I can surely say that I have dealt with an array of characters and personalities, both ‘complex’ and ‘simpler’ ones, and would love to meet many more! From my skill set, I must say I’ve gotten rather confident in most, if not all, aspects a pet caretaker must possess. From such, I’m particularly good at time management with walks and feedings, as well as lengths of walks and entertainment for the pet. At the moment, I’m a laws student in the Amsterdam area. Although at times my availability may be tight due to the number of assessments our course requires from us, I can safely say that most days I’m free. As for pet care specifically, I see it more as a past time for myself during when I can relax and partake in an activity that I genuinely enjoy - thus, I’m always willing to take up a pet visit or walk. Our dogs have an enclosed, green backyard to play in as well as a nearby park in a pet-friendly area. As a precaution, I always make sure to walk my furry friends in areas that are specifically designated for them. Furthermore, I try keep them away from busy roads, and where that is simply not possible, I keep them under a secure watch at all times.
