Over: I have worked as a Rover dog and cat sitter in New York, Washington DC, and Now here in the Netherlands. I have 2 different places, one in Amsterdam and one in Utrecht so I'm extremely flexible and I have so much experience with following the needs of your pets as needed. I have a very early schedule so I am always home from 1 PM- to the evening for any drop in visits, boarding, etc. I speak Spanish as well so I can speak to any multilingual pets. My neighborhood is extremely pet friendly and so much space and grass for nice peaceful walks and extremely accessible to trams and metro to go to any place needed and not too far from the vet if there's an emergency!

Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

Over: I am an extremely dedicated pet carer! I grew up taking care of my Mom’s animals in Cambodia (she had 2 dogs and 14 cats!) Im currently a part time content creator so I have some extra time to take care of pets as well during most of the week. My apartment is right near a park for any walks. I also have some of my own pet toys to play with your dogs. Happy to do anything that your pet loves!

Over: I have experience walking big reactive dogs so small ones are not a problem. Also have experience training puppies as well as taking care of elder dogs. I’m currently a PhD student working at the Hubrecht Institute. My big dog recently passed away and would love to take care of other dogs. I have plenty of time in the weekends as well as evenings! I live in an apartment building and I know how important it is for your fur baby to feel safe and comfortable. Willing to discuss their particular needs!

He brindado cuidados a perros y gatos, incluyendo alimentación, paseos, compañía y administración de medicamentos cuando ha sido necesario. Me adapto fácilmente a las necesidades de cada mascota, ya sea un cachorro juguetón o un animal mayor que necesita tranquilidad y atención especial. Me esfuerzo por crear un ambiente seguro y afectuoso para que cada mascota se sienta como en casa. Trabajo medio completo, lo que me permite tener gran disponibilidad para cuidar mascotas durante la semana y los fines de semana. Puedo ofrecer paseos diarios y visitas a domicilio según lo necesites. Cuando cuido a las mascotas en casa de sus dueños, siempre me aseguro de seguir sus rutinas y respetar su espacio. Mantengo su entorno limpio, seguro y tranquilo. Me adapto a las indicaciones que me den, ya sea sobre alimentación, medicación o paseos, para que se sientan cómodos y cuidados como si estuvieran con su familia.

Over: Hoihoi! Welkom op mijn profiel. Ik heb al mijn hele leven huisdieren gehad, maar momenteel helaas niet. Mijn man en ik verhuizen nogal wat en dat is geen rustige thuisbasis die een huisdier verdient. Van jongs af aan paste ik op honden en katten van bekenden. Ik heb ervaring met een hoop verschillende dieren. Ook heb ik als vrijwilliger op een kinderboerderij gewerkt. Referenties heb ik helaas niet op de app, maar kan ik op verzoek geven. Ik pas met liefde op jouw huisdier, hopelijk tot gauw! 🍀 Ik heb momenteel vakantie dus ben tot 15 augustus veel beschikbaar, bijna elke dag. Ik woon in de buurt van een bos dus heb goede uitlaatmogelijkheden. Het is niet niks om je huisdier bij een vreemde achter te laten, dat realiseer ik me. Bij mij zit je goed!! Ik ben een rustig, verantwoordelijk persoon en vind het belangrijk om eerlijk en ethisch met dieren om te gaan. Qua woning zit ik in een fijn appartement op de begane grond met schuifdeur aan een grasveld. Bij ons thuis kan je hond eerst rustig wennen en lekker zijn gang gaan binnen en ik kan hem elke paar uur mee naar buiten nemen naar t bos hiernaast.

Over: Hey My name is Martha and I'm originally from Germany but came to Utrecht to study. I'm a Student at the University of Utrecht. Because I have a pretty chill schedule, I like to spend all the time the I have outside. Because I can not have my own pet right now as my flat is too small, I'm looking for a companion to spend my time with outside. I grew up with cats in my life but always had a special love for dogs. Since I can remember I would always take the dogs in my neighbourhood out for walks and take care of them for a weekend. I've never had my own but I spend all the time I could with the dogs of friends around me, giving me the option to learn a lot about them and also learning how to train them. And because I don't have the option of having my own pet right now, I'm looking for options to spend at least some of my time with any animal possible. You can see my passion for animals also with horses, as I've been doing Horseriding since I was 4 and I just spend a couple of moths in Iceland, training young Icelandic horses as well as a young giant German schnauzer girl. I speak fluent English and German, and I understand Dutch completely but I'm still learning how to speed it fluently. I have a very loose schedule regarding my uni which gives me a lot of time to spend outside or with your pet. Giving that I only have about 2 hours of class per day, I can work around those lessons and take the dogs out during the other hours of the day or of course visit them at home. Same with the cats or any other animal. Only when I don’t have class, I would offer a full day of care, as I do not want to leave the dogs home alone. And I’m completely free most of the weekends. We I am pretty flexible when it comes to home visits, as I bike practically everywhere. Because my schedule allows it, I can also spend a lot of time with the animals in their home, play with them and feed them. I’m also comfortable giving medication if needed. My home is rather small so if I have your dog over for a day, I will take them outside a lot and give them a lot of mental stimulation. I do also have a little garden but not big enough to roam around or go potty.

Over: Ik ben mijn hele leven al een enorme dierenliefhebber. Thuis had ik altijd katten, cavia’s, konijnen, hamsters en vissen om me heen, en sinds vijf jaar zijn onze twee Golden Retrievers erbij gekomen — mijn beste vriendinnetjes. Ik pas al jaren op de huisdieren van familie en vrienden en geniet daar elke keer weer van. Of het nou gaat om thuis zijn bij de dieren, samen spelen, trainen, relaxen of juist lange wandelingen maken door het bos, langs het water of over de heide — ik ben er graag bij, het liefst samen met een viervoeter. Ik voel me het gelukkigst in het gezelschap van dieren. Nu ik net ben afgestudeerd heb ik tot november veel tijd en vrijheid om op vaste basis oppasadresjes te bezoeken, maar ook voor eenmalige afspraken ben ik flexibel beschikbaar. Door het zorgen voor mijn eigen honden heb ik veel ervaring met puppy’s, training en het inspelen op verschillende behoeftes. Elk dier is anders, en ik pas me daar moeiteloos op aan. Ik ben er om te knuffelen en te spelen, maar kan ook duidelijk zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Vertrouwen, rust en aandacht staan bij mij altijd voorop. De komende drie maanden ben ik flexibel inzetbaar. Ik kan een hele dag bij je huisdier blijven, maar ook even langskomen voor een uurtje of een fijne wandeling. In overleg pas ik me graag aan aan wat jij en je dier nodig hebben. Ik pas alleen op bij het baasje thuis, zodat het dier in zijn vertrouwde omgeving blijft. Ik neem de tijd om rustig contact te maken, respecteer de routines die het dier gewend is en zorg voor een veilige, rustige sfeer. Of het nu gaat om gezelschap, eten geven, wandelen of spelen: ik pas me aan aan wat het dier nodig heeft en stem alles goed af met het baasje.

When I take care of pets, I always try to understand their individual needs and personalities. Over: Ik ben bijna dierenarts, ik moet nog 2 jaar studeren, altijd dieren thuis gehad. Veel ervaring met verzorging van dieren. Ik wandel graag en vind alle soorten dieren lief. Ik studeer, dus wisselende beschikbaarheid maar ook erg flexibel. Best een druk leven heb ik Maar voor uw dier zal ik zeker de tijd nemen.
