Over: Hey My name is Martha and I'm originally from Germany but came to Utrecht to study. I'm a Student at the University of Utrecht. Because I have a pretty chill schedule, I like to spend all the time the I have outside. Because I can not have my own pet right now as my flat is too small, I'm looking for a companion to spend my time with outside. I grew up with cats in my life but always had a special love for dogs. Since I can remember I would always take the dogs in my neighbourhood out for walks and take care of them for a weekend. I've never had my own but I spend all the time I could with the dogs of friends around me, giving me the option to learn a lot about them and also learning how to train them. And because I don't have the option of having my own pet right now, I'm looking for options to spend at least some of my time with any animal possible. You can see my passion for animals also with horses, as I've been doing Horseriding since I was 4 and I just spend a couple of moths in Iceland, training young Icelandic horses as well as a young giant German schnauzer girl. I speak fluent English and German, and I understand Dutch completely but I'm still learning how to speed it fluently. I have a very loose schedule regarding my uni which gives me a lot of time to spend outside or with your pet. Giving that I only have about 2 hours of class per day, I can work around those lessons and take the dogs out during the other hours of the day or of course visit them at home. Same with the cats or any other animal. Only when I don’t have class, I would offer a full day of care, as I do not want to leave the dogs home alone. And I’m completely free most of the weekends. We I am pretty flexible when it comes to home visits, as I bike practically everywhere. Because my schedule allows it, I can also spend a lot of time with the animals in their home, play with them and feed them. I’m also comfortable giving medication if needed. My home is rather small so if I have your dog over for a day, I will take them outside a lot and give them a lot of mental stimulation. I do also have a little garden but not big enough to roam around or go potty.

Over: I’ve grown up with animals all my life, but dogs are my absolute favourite! Care and love for dogs runs in the family; we’ve had beagles ever since I was 8 years old and I can’t wait to have my own one day. I often go home to take care of our two beautiful (but very naughty) beagles Remy (6) and Dolly (9), and two cats. Over the years I’ve also taken care of many of my family and friends’ dogs, from small dogs like frenchies and chihuahuas, to large dogs like golden retrievers and Irish setters, and everything in between. So I have lots of experience with different kinds of dogs and their characteristics. I’m easygoing, patient and confident and appreciate every dog is different. I am currently on a career break, spending lots of time outdoors or at home. So I have excellent availability on both weekdays and weekends, with pet care fitting perfectly in my routine. I live in a two story, ground level apartment, on a quiet street, nearby various parks, so it's the perfect location for dogs. I want to make sure you feel confident proper care is given to your dog, and your dog feels comfortable with me. So I kindly ask for a bed to be provided for comfort, and crate (if needed). Dogs are allowed everywhere in the flat, apart from on the bed.

Over: Since 2018, I’ve completed 50 petsits in various countries around the world, ranging from weekend stays to long-term sits lasting up to a year. Most of my experience has been with cats, though I’ve also cared for dogs. I’ve previously had pets of my own, including cats, rabbits, stick-bugs, and fish, and I even spent a year studying to become an animal caretaker when I was younger. Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the time, which allows me to give plenty of attention to the pets. My top priority is making sure they feel comfortable and safe, and I’m always patient and attentive to their individual needs. It depends of the pets of course, but with dogs I go in the morning for a walk, during lunch again and in the evening also (or more or less when needed). With cats I prefer to start the day with a coffee and some cuddles, I like to have some company when I'm working and ready for cuddles in the evening. Always with all respect for the pets and house. I always let the pets get used to have me around and let them come to me when they feel ready. For me it is important that the pets feel safe and comfortable.

Over: Ik ben mijn hele leven al een enorme dierenliefhebber. Thuis had ik altijd katten, cavia’s, konijnen, hamsters en vissen om me heen, en sinds vijf jaar zijn onze twee Golden Retrievers erbij gekomen — mijn beste vriendinnetjes. Ik pas al jaren op de huisdieren van familie en vrienden en geniet daar elke keer weer van. Of het nou gaat om thuis zijn bij de dieren, samen spelen, trainen, relaxen of juist lange wandelingen maken door het bos, langs het water of over de heide — ik ben er graag bij, het liefst samen met een viervoeter. Ik voel me het gelukkigst in het gezelschap van dieren. Nu ik net ben afgestudeerd heb ik tot november veel tijd en vrijheid om op vaste basis oppasadresjes te bezoeken, maar ook voor eenmalige afspraken ben ik flexibel beschikbaar. Door het zorgen voor mijn eigen honden heb ik veel ervaring met puppy’s, training en het inspelen op verschillende behoeftes. Elk dier is anders, en ik pas me daar moeiteloos op aan. Ik ben er om te knuffelen en te spelen, maar kan ook duidelijk zijn wanneer dat nodig is. Vertrouwen, rust en aandacht staan bij mij altijd voorop. De komende drie maanden ben ik flexibel inzetbaar. Ik kan een hele dag bij je huisdier blijven, maar ook even langskomen voor een uurtje of een fijne wandeling. In overleg pas ik me graag aan aan wat jij en je dier nodig hebben. Ik pas alleen op bij het baasje thuis, zodat het dier in zijn vertrouwde omgeving blijft. When I take care of pets, I always try to understand their individual needs and personalities. I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved — whether that means going for long walks, playing their favorite games, or just chilling together on the couch. I stick to their routines, give them the right food at the right times, and of course, keep their environment clean and cozy. Over: I’m an experienced dog sitter, have many years of experiences. Your pet will have extra care and cuddles with us in kid and other pets free home I am not working currently, so your pet will not be left alone. Your pet will have long or short walks 3-4 times a day in the park near to us. We don’t have kid or other pets, so your pet will be the only kid in our place. Have a small garden with the fence. But I live on the first floor with Dutch stairs. I usually carry the small ones if they are afraid of stairs and comfortable to get carried.

Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

Over: Ik ben Lebrina, 31 jaar en woonachtig in het centrum van Utrecht. Hier woon ik in een ruim huis met 2 andere dames op 1 hoog. Een tuin hebben we helaas niet, maar het Wilhelminapark en Lepelenburg zitten op loopafstand. Ik ben freelance fotografe. Hoewel ik door mijn werk geen eigen hond kan nemen, geniet ik er enorm van om op honden te passen en lange wandelingen te maken. Mijn werk maak mij erg flexibel. Ik kan veelal doordeweeks, in de ochtenden/middag/avonden en af en toe in het weekend. Momenteel pas ik regelmatig op de Cockapoo van mijn beste vriendin, en ik weet hoe belangrijk het is dat je hond in goede, liefdevolle handen is. Ik ben een zorgzame, betrouwbare oppas die er graag op uit gaat met je hond. Voor een koffietje in de stad of voor een lange wandeling in het bos. Updates met mooie foto's van je hond krijg je er gratis bij ;) Momenteel werk ik freelance. Ik doe dit vanuit huis. Ik ben dus erg flexibel en veelal doordeweeks beschikbaar om op te passen of een wandeling te maken. Ik heb geen tuin. Wel woon ik op loopafstand van park Lepelenburg en het Wilhelmina plein. Verder heb ik een ruime woonkamer waar de hond kan spelen.

Over: Nou ben ik sowieso al graag buiten en maak graag wandelingen, en al helemaal met een hond. Vroeger hadden we thuis een hond en mijn beide oma s hadden ook een hond. Nu kan ik helaas geen hond nemen, want ik woon alleen en dan ben je ook wel eens weg. Ik mis het echter wel. Na een ziekte probeer ik door beweging terug in vorm te komen, en daar helpt elke dag een wandeling met een hondje bij. Rondje met hondje. Tijd en ruimte dus over. ik ben onder de 50. Momenteel zit ik in de ziektewet, tijd over en eigenlijk geen verplichtingen. Momenteel heb ik alleen maandag avond wat staan, maar in overleg is altijd wel wat te regelen. Het liefste kom ik eerst even langs bij het baasje ter kennismaking. Ik laat de hond driemaal per dag uit, houd hem aan de lijn en laat hem niet los. Daarna kan ie thuis rusten. Inclusief af en toe aaien en knuffels. Lekkernijen zijn thuis aanwezig. Halverwege de dag stuur ik meestal een foto naar het baasje om te laten merken dat de hond het goed heeft.
