I’ve raised two sibling cats since they were just one month old — they are now over three years old and thriving. I’ve been their full-time caregiver, responsible for everything from daily feeding, grooming, and bathing to playing, vet visits, and even administering medication when needed. In addition to caring for my own pets, I also rescued a stray cat mother and her five newborn kittens back in Shanghai. I nursed them to health and successfully found loving homes for each of them. I’ve also rescued and rehomed a stray Chinese rural dog, and I currently have a sweet 7-year-old pug who’s been with my family since she was 2 months old. I grew up around big dogs like German Shepherds, so I’m confident and comfortable with dogs of all sizes. While I’m in the Netherlands without my pets at the moment, I have the time, energy, and heart to care for yours. Whether it’s a playful kitten, a senior cat, a hyper pup, or a gentle giant — I’m ready to give them the love and attention they deserve. Currently, I’m living in the Netherlands to accompany my family, and I’m not working full-time, so I have plenty of time and a flexible schedule throughout the week — both weekdays and weekends. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m happy to adjust my availability based on your pet’s needs, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for pets feels like a rewarding part of my everyday life, not a chore. Whether I'm caring for pets in my own home or in the pet owner's home, I always prioritize creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. When hosting pets at my place, I prepare a clean and secure space tailored to their needs, with regular feeding, fresh water, clean litter (for cats), and plenty of play and rest time. I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain the pet’s routine and reduce any stress from being in a new place. If I’m visiting or staying at the owner’s home, I make sure to respect their space and maintain the pet’s familiar routine. I keep the area clean, provide updates to the owner, and pay close attention to important details like mealtime, walks, litter or potty breaks, and quality interaction time. Whether it’s a quick drop-in, a walk, daycare, or overnight sitting, I adapt my care style to each pet’s individual needs and personality, offering them patience, safety, and lots of love.

Over: I’ve lived with pets my whole life, and as an international student I really miss having them around. With lots of love and care, I’ve looked after the pets of friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. I am a student, but I only have classes three days a week. My schedule is very flexible, and I am a very active person who enjoys walking a lot I take care of pets at the owner’s home since I cannot have pets at my own place, so I don’t mind traveling to them

Over: I have cared for my own toy poodle, Doudou, for many years back home in China, which gave me a deep understanding of a pet’s needs and personality. During my undergraduate studies, I helped a friend who works at a veterinary clinic take care of their research dogs. As a student, I have a flexible schedule most weekdays except for a few fixed class hours. I can offer weekend visits and make sure to plan my day so that pet care fits around my studies. I always prioritize following the specific instructions and requirements provided by the client, and then carefully adhere to feeding schedules, medication routines, and any behavioral guidelines they required. Additionally, I will ensure a safe environment by securing doors and windows, removing (avoiding) any hazards (plants/harmful materials), and closely monitoring the pet’s health and behavior. I will build trust by being patient, gentle, and attentive, respecting each pet’s personality and comfort level! I will also keep the client updated regularly with photos and messages to maintain clear communication.

Over: Ik heb altijd honden in huis gehad. Waaronder vaak honden die uit het asiel kwamen. Hierdoor heb ik veel ervaring met honden die iets meegemaakt hebben. Daarnaast heb ik drie jaar gewerkt voor een hondenschool en vooral meegelopen bij de puppylessen. Hier heb ik veel ervaring opgedaan met puppy's en heel veel geleerd. Momenteel loop ik stage. Op de maandagen en donderdagen ben ik op kantoor. De rest van de week werk ik vanuit huis en heb ik genoeg tijd om de huisdieren aandacht te geven en honden uit te laten. Ik zorg er altijd voor dat de huisdieren het fijn hebben en veilig zijn. Ik kijk naar de afspraken die ik met het baasje gemaakt heb en zal mij daar altijd aan houden. Daarnaast zal ik blijven communiceren en de baasjes op de hoogte houden.

Over: Naast dat ik mijn hele leven honden heb gehad en veel op honden van kennissen en familie heb gepast, heb ook een eigen hond. Guus is een blonde labrador van 10 maanden. Ik heb cursussen met hem gedaan en ik heb ik inmiddels nog meer kennis opgedaan over honden en alles wat daarbij komt kijken. Ik heb een fulltime baan met redelijk flexibele werktijden, maar ik ben meestal rond 15:30 uur thuis. Ik ben toch al veel buiten met mijn eigen hond dus het is alleen maar leuk om bij te verdienen met iets wat ik toch al aan het doen ben. Op basis van de behoefte van de hond kijk ik of deze aansluiten op de behoeften van mijn eigen hond. Ik zal zeker in het weekend de hele tijd aanwezig zijn. Ik kan wassen, nagels doen, tanden verzorgen, spelen, wandelen, eten geven en gewoon bij je hond zijn.

Over: Hi! My name is Palm. I am from Thailand and I graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I am currently studying for my master’s degree in Utrecht. I do not have formal work experience as a dog or cat sitter yet, because this kind of job is not very common in my home country. However, during my veterinary studies, I gained hands-on experience taking care of animals, including walking dogs at the animal hospital, helping with basic care, and observing their behavior and wellbeing. I am definitely a dog person, but I also love cats. Being around dogs and cats always makes me happy, and I feel that animals can heal the heart in such a special way. I am calm, responsible, gentle, and happy to follow each owner’s instructions carefully. I’m currently a master’s student, so my schedule can be quite flexible. Gee andere huisdieren of kinderen. Rustig. Ik wandel graag bij Amelisweerd/bos met honden. Of knuffel graag met ze op de bank.

Over: I am a veterinary nurse from Ireland with a huge love for dogs and cats. I have a broad range of experience from working in general practice, emergency and critical care, high volume shelters and even a luxury dog boarding hotel! I'm confident caring for dogs of any size and any lifestage, from energetic puppies to golden oldies (my favourites!). I love going on long walks, shorter "sniff" walks, hanging out socialising and playing making sure your pet is getting plenty of mental and physical enrichment. I am also happy to administer medication, do some basic grooming and I can also trim your dogs nails. 🐕 For dog walking or a home visit, I will spend approx 1 hour there. - For young puppies or older dogs who need shorter walks, I can happily split the hour between a shorter walk and some time playing/hanging out socializing with them. - If you need longer pet sitting eg for a few hours at a time, we can discuss this and agree on a suitable fee My weekly work schedule varies: on work days I usually have some time every day for a walk or house visit but it just depends on whether that fits with your desired time. On off days I am naturally much more flexible. As it's not possible for me to update my calender with specific times feel free to just message me and we can chat to see what can work 😊 Right now I am living in Utrecht city centre and travelling by bicycle so I am slightly limited by this, but if you don't live too far it can work! I can care for your pet in your home and will follow all guidelines you give to ensure your pet has the best care and you can be worry free. I will of course send regular updates and photos when I care for your pet also.
