Over: I began working with animals in 2016 through Paws and Claws, an independent daycare and dog walking service in the UK. My responsibilities included walking, feeding, and caring for dogs throughout the morning and afternoon. I was also responsible for pick-up and drop-off, which involved being trusted with access to clients’ homes. Alongside this, I carried out house calls to help socialise dogs or check in on those who didn’t require a full day of on-site daycare. At the daycare facility, I comfortably handled groups of up to ten dogs of varying breeds, sizes, and temperaments on walks in the local woodlands. As demand grew, I expanded my services to include house and pet sitting across several nearby villages and towns. Over the years, I have cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, and I am also happy to tend to gardens or house plants when needed. After moving to Utrecht for my studies, I began offering my own dog walking and pet sitting services to pet owners that I met in the city or at surrounding walking spots. Over: Van jongs af aan ben ik gek op honden! Liefst honden waar je lang mee kunt wandelen, rennen en spelen. Energiek. Ik ben via mijn ouders, familie en vrienden veel in aanmerking gekomen met honden. Pas nu ook regelmatig op en loop met een hond voor de organisatie Dierenbuddy. Momenteel zit ik tussen twee banen in en ben ik meer thuis. Ik doe vrijwilligerswerk, maar heb veel uren over. Deze besteedt ik al veel buiten (in het bos). Aangezien ik veel van honden houd hoop ik die twee te kunnen combineren! Ik woon in een appartement op steenworp afstand van een hondenlosloopgebied. Voor een langere wandeling steek ik zo door naar het grote bos Den Treek. Thuis zou een hond ook even kunnen vertoeven, maar we gaan natuurlijk vooral naar buiten.

I have two cats back in my hometown, but in my current place of residence (where your cats will be hosted if you request boarding), there are no pets. So feel free to request boarding even if your pet is shy! I'm currently between jobs, so I am home almost fulltime other than a few hours out a day. Therefore I can pay full attention and love for your cats if necessary. On off days I am naturally much more flexible. As it's not possible for me to update my calender with specific times feel free to just message me and we can chat to see what can work 😊 Right now I am living in Utrecht city centre and travelling by bicycle so I am slightly limited by this, but if you don't live too far it can work! I can care for your pet in your home and will follow all guidelines you give to ensure your pet has the best care and you can be worry free. I will of course send regular updates and photos when I care for your pet also.
Over: Mijn vriend en ik zijn beiden gek op honden en vinden het super leuk om op jouw hond te passen. Als je jouw hond bij ons brengt krijgt hij alle aandacht die hij verdient en zullen we heel goed voor hem zorgen natuurlijk! Jouw hond kan de hele dag rondrennen in de tuin en we wandelen graag. Tijdens thuiswerkdagen lopen we een wat kleiner rondje, rond de 30 min. Vlakbij ons huis kunnen we fijn het bos in, waar de hond ook los kan (als die oké is natuurlijk). Op vrije dagen doen we hetzelfde en doen we vaak nog een grote ronde in de Soesterduinen. We hebben zelf een Jack Russel die goed gaat met andere honden en het heel gezellig vindt als er een vriendje bij is zo nu en dan. Als je hond langer komt logeren is het fijn als zij even kennis kunnen maken van tevoren. We hebben een grote tuin waar de hond de hele dag lekker in kan rennen en relaxen en we lopen 1 a 2 keer een grote ronde door het bos met jouw hond. Net wat er nodig is! Goed om te weten: we hebben kippen. Dus het is belangrijk dat jouw hond hiermee om kan gaan (en niet onder de ren zal graven/volle focus daarop heeft). De tuin is volledig omheind, dus daar kan de hond lekker loslopen. Hij mag de hele dag van binnen naar buiten lopen en we houden hem goed in de gaten natuurlijk!

I do not have formal work experience as a dog or cat sitter yet, because this kind of job is not very common in my home country. I will always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, walking preferences, medication if needed, and any safety rules. Over: I have always had furry friends next to me ever since I was little, I currently have 3 cats of my own at home in Mexico and they are the loves of my life. I know how important it is to feel safe when leaving your furry friend in a new place, please know that for me it’s extremely important that both you and your furry feel comfortable at all times! :) I am a full time student which means my schedule can fluctuate a bit, my schedule will always be up to date and house sitting is possible no matter my schedule! Over: Na mijn persoonlijke reis met mijn puppy die ik heb grootgebracht en getraind ben ik mijn liefde voor honden en andere dieren alleen maar meer gaan waarderen. Door mijn eigen ervaringen heb ik geleerd hoeveel rust, vertrouwen en geluk dieren kunnen brengen. Ik bied honden en katten een warm en liefdevol thuis in mijn fijne huis, omringd door natuur. Met rust, aandacht en fijne wandelingen midden in de natuur, langs bossen, vijvers en de duinen. In mijn grote afgesloten tuin en speciaal ingerichte kamer kunnen zij veilig ontspannen, spelen en genieten van alle aandacht die zij nodig hebben. Ik vind het belangrijk dat dieren zich veilig, rustig en vertrouwd voelen. Daarom kijk ik goed naar hun behoeften en geef ik ieder dier persoonlijke aandacht. De aanwezigheid van honden mis ik enorm en daarom geef ik honden en katten met veel liefde, geduld en aandacht een warm thuis. Missschien tot snel! 😊 Ik werk voornamelijk vanuit huis, waardoor de verzorging van huisdieren perfect in mijn dagelijkse routine past. Mijn dagen kan ik flexibel indelen zodat er voldoende tijd is voor uitlaten, spelen, rustmomenten en persoonlijke aandacht. Daarnaast maak ik graag wandelingen in de dichtbijgelegen bossen en prachtige duinen, zodat honden voldoende beweging, frisse lucht en ontspanning krijgen. Ik verzorg huisdieren in een rustige, veilige en huiselijke omgeving met veel persoonlijke aandacht. In mijn ruime huis en omheinde tuin kunnen honden vrij rennen, spelen en ontspannen. Daarnaast heb ik twee aparte kamers ingericht: één voor honden met matten en speeltjes, en één voor katten met een speel- en klimhoek waar zij zich veilig kunnen terugtrekken. Meerdere keren per dag maken we fijne wandelingen en tussendoor zijn er voldoende rustmomenten, zodat dieren zich ontspannen en vertrouwd kunnen voelen.
