Over: I adopted my own dog Coco a year ago and have gone through trainings with her at de Gabber dog school . Before adopting Coco, I was the go-to dog sitter for my friends’ dogs. I take 3 walks a day with Coco including a long walk in Westerpark. Coco is super friendly and always looking to make new dog friends. I usually work from home from Friday to Monday. I have a routine of walking my dog 3 times a day including one in Westerpark and going to bigger parks on the weekend such as Amsterdamse Bos. I have everything needed for dog care in my apartment since I have our own dog. I also have plenty of (training) toys to keep dogs entertained.

I often go for walks in the mornings; I would just need to receive the appointment the day before. I am available during the week rather than over weekends. I have a large apartment on the first floor of a building, which is close to Erasmus Park. I love taking long walks and runs in the surroundings, so your dog would be active for most of the day.

Over: I’ve taken care of my cat since I was 14 years old. Also, I’ve taken care of my cousin’s and aunt’s dogs whenever they were going on vacation. Already three years since I started to take care of other dogs and cats here in Amsterdam. I am currently working full time at a hotel. I have different shifts during the week, such a as morning and late, but I can be flexible if needed to take care of a furry friend. To take care of my furry friends, I play with them a lot, I like to talk to them, pet them and also going for a walk, give them treats from time to time, if the parents have a nice yard I love to play catch the ball and never get tired of it.

Over: We've always had rescue dogs, a bit on the nervous side but always super lovely, I've moved here for uni and would love to help out with dog walking or sitting. I've volunteered at dog rescue shelter and I've been helping people look after their dogs down here in Falmouth but I have a lot more free time now in the summer and can't wait to spend it with some lovely pets ! I also love cats and fostered a lovely cat last year, now I spend lots of time dog sitting my managers dog and helping my mum train her new foster dog! Now I'm not at University, I have a lot more free time and my only other commitment is part time working but I pick the hours so I can work around sitting/walking! I'm more than happy to do whatever the owner feels is best and safest for their pet as of course each dog is different and their needs will always vary, so whatever makes them feel most comfortable!

Over: Hi, I'm Sophia. I grew up on a small farm in South Africa 🇿🇦, surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve been looking after pets for over 22 years now, from raising puppies and hand-rearing day-old kittens to caring for senior dogs, cats, birds, and even rodents. Since moving to Amsterdam 2.5 years ago with my partner, Geoff, we’ve built a solid base of regular pet-sitting clients. With one of our longtime senior dogs sadly passing, I now have more room in my schedule to welcome a few new furry faces.🐶 I'm currently working hybrid (soon to be mostly home again), and my partner works remotely, so there's always someone around making sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and part of the pack. I am also experienced in giving medication to both dogs and cats 🙌 I currently work at the office on Mondays and Thursdays from 08:00 to 17:30, but my partner works from home full time and can take care of your fury friends in the time I am not home as well. My partner and I live in a ground-floor apartment, with an enclosed back yard where they can enjoy freely. We love dogs to cuddle with us on the couches and often love to play with them with toys. We already have food and water bowls and also have a medium sized dog bed. We also live close to a park, so if your fury friend stays with us, we often love to walk them through to the park.
