Hondenopvang in Ede

Over: Hoi, wij zijn Alan en Madeleine. Alan is Italiaans en spreekt Engels, ik ben Nederlands. Wij hebben thuis altijd katten en honden gehad. Wij zijn pas samen gaan wonen in Ede en hebben op dit moment (nog) geen eigen huisdieren, maar missen de gezelligheid van een hond of een kat soms toch wel. Doordeweeks is er bijna altijd iemand thuis omdat we veel thuis werken. In het weekend zijn we ook bijna altijd wel beschikbaar en zijn we flexibel. Ik houd er erg van om lange wandelingen te maken, dus heb je een hond die wat energie kwijt moet, ben je bij mij aan het goede adres! Verder hebben wij een omheinde tuin en een groot huis. We wonen dicht aan de bosrand en hebben snelle toegang tot het bos voor wandelingen. Wij bezitten geen auto.

Over: Hello! I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences (Animal Nutrition). My passion for animals inspired me to choose this field of study, and I have gained professional knowledge in pet nutrition, feed formulation, and animal behavior.

I grew up with a lovely cat named Bao, who has been my companion for many years. Although I do not keep a dog permanently, I have over one year of experience in dog sitting here in the Netherlands. During this time, I have cared for different breeds including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and especially a Shih Tzu named Cola, whom I looked after for around six months. Cola was full of energy (you cannot imagine how such a small dog can be so energetic!), so I walked him three times a day, went jogging together, and visited the dog park twice a week. Since he was not neutered, I was always very attentive to him and other dogs played with him.

I live in a comfortable 30 m² apartment in Wageningen, right next to a big forest and only 500 m away from a pet park. Pets in my care will have plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor activities. As I spend most of my time studying from home, I have lots of time to give dogs and cats the love, attention, and exercise they need. According to each pet’s needs and unique situation, I take care of them based on their habits and make sure their needs are met everyday. In general, I walk dogs at least three times a day, and since I study from home, I can provide plenty of companionship — for example, by hiding treats and playing with toys.

Since it was my first time leaving my puppy, she kindly let us visit the day before. Jiena was super friendly and welcoming — she took the time to show us around the house and garden, which made me feel instantly at ease. Throughout the day, she kept me updated with lots of sweet photos and videos. She really listens to your wishes and takes such loving, patient care of your dog. My 4.5-month-old puppy felt completely at ease and came back home happy and relaxed. Exactly the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find — I highly recommend her!”

Over: Hello everyone！My name is Liu Shuting and I’m 22 years old. I’m a master at Wageningen University. 

 Since I was in junior high school, my family has had two younger brothers, Cookie and Oreo. Therefore, I have more than 8 years of experience in raising dogs. I have taken care of small dogs (such as Teddy and Bichon) and large dogs (such as Golden Retriever and Labrador). 

If you are willing to let me take care of your dog, I will eat with him, play his favorite toys with him, take him for walks, and let him sleep with me (if he wants). 

Of course, I can also help you take care of your cats! My good friend has four cats at home. I often play with her cats, and sometimes I also will help her take care of them, so I also believe that I can take good care of your cats!

 What are you still hesitating about? Come and contact me~ I am currently a full-time graduate student and stay at home most of the time, so I have plenty of time to take care of and play with your pet during weekdays and weekends. There are no children in my home, the room is very clean, I don't smoke, and my friends don't come to my house for parties, so I can provide a quiet and comfortable living environment for your pet.

Over: Since I was young, dogs have always been by my side. One was purchased, and three others were adopted; the current one is 12 years old. I can’t bear to take her on frequent long trips, so she’s being well cared for by my parents now. I’m very experienced in taking care of unfamiliar dogs of all ages. I already have pet-sitting experience here in the Netherlands. Some from another App. The customers I’ve served have all been very satisfied. Dogs have brought so much emotional support to me and my family, helping me through many difficult times. Now that I’m living in the Netherlands and working on my thesis while job hunting and making future plans, which, I admit, can sometimes feel quite depressing. So, I truly hope to have dog companions in my life here. That’s why I’d love to offer my time as a dog sitter. My current schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of time to be with your puppy, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I live in a studio near the end of a quiet hallway. Even delivery people never ring the bell😂. There’s an elevator in the building, so your doggy won’t need to climb stairs, which is especially good for their joints. After every pet stay, I always clean the space thoroughly and do laundry to keep everything fresh and hygienic. Downstairs, there are plenty of green areas and small parks, including two especially for dogs. Your pet will have a great time here, both indoors and outdoors!

Over: Despite the occasional neighbor dog walks as a kid, I have taken care of my rabbits for several years as a teenager, which taught me about the beauty of sharing your life with animals. As an adult, I have lived with my housemate's pets (both cats and dogs) for several years, providing help to their owners when needed, joining for walks, giving lots of cuddles, and keeping a second eye on the wellbeing of the cuties. Since I live in Wageningen, I have two years of experience taking primary care of the most wonderful cat, who has added so much joy and love to my life. Getting to know her, understanding her needs and boundaries, ways of communication, and typical behaviours have helped me understand and recognize signs of her wellbeing. Unfortunately a year ago, at the age of 14, she had to be put down, after a difficult time of looking after her when she was sick and needed lots of assistance. While I do not have any specific skills, I have learned about the care of pets over the years by living with different cats and dogs. I have learned to maintain a healthy respect towards them, to give them time to get accustomed to me, and prioritize their boundaries over my love for cuddles. I care for the pets in my life, no matter if it's the neighbour's cat that comes to enjoy the sun in my garden, the dog that I walk once a week, or your pet that I might look after. Currently, I am writing my MSc Thesis, so I am very flexible and appreciate the occasional break to take a dog for a walk, or drop-in for feeding a cat/dog. I promise to respect both your pet(s) and your home, to follow your instructions with care, and to be reliable in terms of the service that I provide, as well as communication.

Over: Ik heb altijd al op dieren gepast sinds mijn 16e dat was vaak van familie en vrienden, je kan op mij rekenen dat ik u hond goed uitlaat en ze goed was en ze goed te eten geef en natuurlijk de aandacht die ze nodig hebben daarnaast heb ik zelf een hond gehad die ik heb getraind vanaf pup helaas is zei pas geleden overleden heb op dit moment 1 kitten thuis maar die doet ze eigen ding wel :) om andere te kunnen helpen en ik mijn passie voor honden en katten ook kan voortzetten verder vind ik dit een ideale baan🥰 Momenteel ben ik een huismoeder dus alleen het hondenoppassen doe ik als werk, ben alle dagen beschikbaar behalve het weekend niet en ik luister goed naar de dingen die nodig zijn. Ik heb een rustig huisje geen dieren dus alle aandacht voor jou viervoerter! , ik heb een heel mooi bos om mijn flatje heen waar ik altijd wandel.
