We both work from home, so we’re always around to keep an eye on your dog and give them attention throughout the day. - Pets have full access to the house and our secure garden, so they can enjoy both indoor comfort and outdoor playtime. - I provide fresh water at all times and follow the feeding schedule you provide. - Daily walks and play sessions are part of the routine to keep them happy and active. - I supervise interactions with my own dog, Bonnie, to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. - I send regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing.

Over: Hoi, wij zijn Alan en Madeleine. Alan is Italiaans en spreekt Engels, ik ben Nederlands. Wij hebben thuis altijd katten en honden gehad. Wij zijn pas samen gaan wonen in Ede en hebben op dit moment (nog) geen eigen huisdieren, maar missen de gezelligheid van een hond of een kat soms toch wel. Doordeweeks is er bijna altijd iemand thuis omdat we veel thuis werken. In het weekend zijn we ook bijna altijd wel beschikbaar en zijn we flexibel. Ik houd er erg van om lange wandelingen te maken, dus heb je een hond die wat energie kwijt moet, ben je bij mij aan het goede adres! Verder hebben wij een omheinde tuin en een groot huis. We wonen dicht aan de bosrand en hebben snelle toegang tot het bos voor wandelingen. Wij bezitten geen auto.

Omdat het mijn eerste keer was, mochten we van tevoren langskomen — Jiena was supervriendelijk en nam de tijd om ons kennis te laten maken met haar, het huis en de tuin. Dat gaf meteen een vertrouwd gevoel. Ze hield me de hele dag door op de hoogte met foto’s en video’s, luisterde goed naar mijn wensen en ging liefdevol en geduldig om met mijn puppy van 4,5 maand. Hij voelde zich helemaal op z’n gemak en kwam blij en ontspannen weer thuis. Een oppas zoals je hoopt te vinden — ik raad haar iedereen aan! Amazing sitter! Since it was my first time leaving my puppy, she kindly let us visit the day before. Jiena was super friendly and welcoming — she took the time to show us around the house and garden, which made me feel instantly at ease. Throughout the day, she kept me updated with lots of sweet photos and videos. She really listens to your wishes and takes such loving, patient care of your dog. My 4.5-month-old puppy felt completely at ease and came back home happy and relaxed. Exactly the kind of sitter every dog owner hopes to find — I highly recommend her!”

Over: Hello! I am currently doing a Master’s degree in Animal Sciences (Animal Nutrition). My passion for animals inspired me to choose this field of study, and I have gained professional knowledge in pet nutrition, feed formulation, and animal behavior.

I grew up with a lovely cat named Bao, who has been my companion for many years. Although I do not keep a dog permanently, I have over one year of experience in dog sitting here in the Netherlands. During this time, I have cared for different breeds including Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and especially a Shih Tzu named Cola, whom I looked after for around six months. Cola was full of energy (you cannot imagine how such a small dog can be so energetic!), so I walked him three times a day, went jogging together, and visited the dog park twice a week. Since he was not neutered, I was always very attentive to him and other dogs played with him.

I live in a comfortable 30 m² apartment in Wageningen, right next to a big forest and only 500 m away from a pet park. Pets in my care will have plenty of space and opportunities for outdoor activities. As I spend most of my time studying from home, I have lots of time to give dogs and cats the love, attention, and exercise they need. According to each pet’s needs and unique situation, I take care of them based on their habits and make sure their needs are met everyday. In general, I walk dogs at least three times a day, and since I study from home, I can provide plenty of companionship — for example, by hiding treats and playing with toys.

 Since I was in junior high school, my family has had two younger brothers, Cookie and Oreo. Therefore, I have more than 8 years of experience in raising dogs. I have taken care of small dogs (such as Teddy and Bichon) and large dogs (such as Golden Retriever and Labrador). 

If you are willing to let me take care of your dog, I will eat with him, play his favorite toys with him, take him for walks, and let him sleep with me (if he wants). 

Of course, I can also help you take care of your cats! My good friend has four cats at home. I often play with her cats, and sometimes I also will help her take care of them, so I also believe that I can take good care of your cats!

Over: Since I was young, dogs have always been by my side. One was purchased, and three others were adopted; the current one is 12 years old. I can’t bear to take her on frequent long trips, so she’s being well cared for by my parents now. I’m very experienced in taking care of unfamiliar dogs of all ages. I already have pet-sitting experience here in the Netherlands. Some from another App. The customers I’ve served have all been very satisfied. Dogs have brought so much emotional support to me and my family, helping me through many difficult times. Now that I’m living in the Netherlands and working on my thesis while job hunting and making future plans, which, I admit, can sometimes feel quite depressing. So, I truly hope to have dog companions in my life here. That’s why I’d love to offer my time as a dog sitter. My current schedule is very flexible, and I have plenty of time to be with your puppy, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I live in a studio near the end of a quiet hallway. Even delivery people never ring the bell😂. There’s an elevator in the building, so your doggy won’t need to climb stairs, which is especially good for their joints. After every pet stay, I always clean the space thoroughly and do laundry to keep everything fresh and hygienic. Downstairs, there are plenty of green areas and small parks, including two especially for dogs. Your pet will have a great time here, both indoors and outdoors!

Over: Despite the occasional neighbor dog walks as a kid, I have taken care of my rabbits for several years as a teenager, which taught me about the beauty of sharing your life with animals. As an adult, I have lived with my housemate's pets (both cats and dogs) for several years, providing help to their owners when needed, joining for walks, giving lots of cuddles, and keeping a second eye on the wellbeing of the cuties. Since I live in Wageningen, I have two years of experience taking primary care of the most wonderful cat, who has added so much joy and love to my life. Getting to know her, understanding her needs and boundaries, ways of communication, and typical behaviours have helped me understand and recognize signs of her wellbeing. Unfortunately a year ago, at the age of 14, she had to be put down, after a difficult time of looking after her when she was sick and needed lots of assistance. While I do not have any specific skills, I have learned about the care of pets over the years by living with different cats and dogs. I have learned to maintain a healthy respect towards them, to give them time to get accustomed to me, and prioritize their boundaries over my love for cuddles. I care for the pets in my life, no matter if it's the neighbour's cat that comes to enjoy the sun in my garden, the dog that I walk once a week, or your pet that I might look after. Currently, I am writing my MSc Thesis, so I am very flexible and appreciate the occasional break to take a dog for a walk, or drop-in for feeding a cat/dog. I promise to respect both your pet(s) and your home, to follow your instructions with care, and to be reliable in terms of the service that I provide, as well as communication.

Over: Since I was little I've cared for dogs, both big and small, and their puppy litters and I've also fostered stray puppies we've found and given them a safe home. Currently I have 2 lovely dogs (one Rhodesian ridgeback and 1 local breed) and 3 cats at home back in Tanzania with my parents. I'm a student taking a gap year before i enter university while also redoing some of my examinations, so I have ALOT of extra time on my schedule everyday. While I'm not studying Rover is an opportunity for me to mix my love for animals while keeping myself busy and exploring new areas of Utrecht that I have yet to see ( AND taking cute pets on walks because who wouldn't want that??!) i dont have any pets living with me at the moment since im in a new country but usually at home my pets are very free around the house as they're behaved fairly well and i take my dogs on regular walks and hang out with both my cats and dogs like i would with my own best friend.

Over: Dieren verdienen de beste zorg, en dat geef ik met liefde. Of het nu gaat om vachtverzorging, het geven van voer, een fijne wandeling of gewoon een moment van knuffelen en aaien – ik zorg ervoor dat elk dier zich veilig en geliefd voelt. Met geduld, aandacht en toewijding behandel ik jouw huisdier alsof het mijn eigen is. Puppy training kan ik ook met duidelijke constructies 😊 een dag van 8 uur (bijvoorbeeld 9:00–17:00) en een dag van 10 uur (bijvoorbeeld 9:00–19:00). Of een dagdeel of alleen uitlaten er is veel mogelijk want honden oppassen en uitlaten wil ik mijn werk van maken. En we kunnen natuurlijk altijd samen naar kijken 🤗. Als u andere wensen of vragen heeft. Ik maak graag een planning van tevoren. Van bijvoorbeeld uitlaten wanneer voeren wanneer spelen wanneer vrije tijd dat alles wat de hond gewend is om te doen we gewoon door kunnen zetten. Ik geniet van wandelingen in de natuur, spelen in de tuin en vooral van het zien dat een dier zich veilig en gelukkig voelt. Graag maak ik eerst kennis, zodat we kunnen kijken of er een goede klik is. Wat baasjes vaak waarderen, is mijn duidelijke communicatie: ik stuur altijd een berichtje bij aankomst en vertrek, deel foto’s en meld bijzonderheden direct. Over: I grew up with dogs, so I’ve had experience caring for them from a young age. At home, my parents had a sweet Cavalier King Charles, and now they have an energetic Ridgeback that I’ve also looked after regularly. Because of that, I have experience with both small, calm dogs and larger, stronger breeds. But well… they live in Portugal now, and I really miss having dogs around. Over: I (Isabella) sometimes look after my mum's dog (a naughty Irish terrier) or my dad's dog (a rambunctious Airedale terrier) when they are away, and I'd love to do so for more dogs! My partner also has previous experience with dogs, having grown up with them. We both regularly take in Momo, a friends' cat, in our home when his parents come to visit, and we love to have him over! I am a researcher working from home with a flexible schedule, so I often take breaks throughout the day to go for a stroll in the neighbourhood. My partner works from home 3 days a week. This means we have quite an open and flexible schedule to take in pets! We also like to go for a long hike on Sundays. We live in a flat with an upstairs section, and a small terrace in the city centre of Utrecht. When our friend's cat comes to stay over, we put some of the houseplants away for safety. In any case, we do not open any windows or doors unless we are able to keep an active eye on the pet. We can discuss any accommodation needed (medication, length of walk, hazards, etc) with you when you contact us!
