About: I have been taking care of animals since I was really young! I had lots of different pets growing up, so I have experience with all types of animals. I have done pet sitting before, by myself and helping my sisters. I am currently on summer break before I go to college at the end of September, so I have lots of free time to take care of pets! I have lots of free time to check on the pets and stay in the house, whatever is needed! I love going on walks, so I have no problems taking your pets for walks or being outside with them!

About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I am just getting back into to Rover after welcoming two beautiful kids into the world. I’ve always loved dogs and animals. They are like built in friends always there and just wanting unconditional love. We have had pets for as long as I can remember. We had small dogs growing up and now we have two fur babies of our own, a German Shepard and a terrier mix, who has no sense of personal space. Over all I’ve had experience with all sizes of dogs between owning them watching them in high school and college. Being that now I’m a mom to a toddler and baby I will bring them with me. So if that’s not something you’d be okay with I totally get it but I’m not the best fit for watching your fur babies. The baby will stay in his carrier for the most part and the toddler will want to play fetch with your dogs lol. I think she likes dogs more then me most days 😂 Our life’s revolve around our kids and dogs lol. I make sure our pup don’t stay shut in for to long for a long period of time. When we get home we either go on a walk or play for a while to burn off all of their built up energy and excitement. Our pups go everywhere with us from hiking, to camping, to going for a ride to get a pup cup. While I take care of your fur babies my toddler and I will just play with them and give them all of the attention while watching/ walking them, taking them outside, and feeding them.

About: I’m in the military and very aware of how difficult it can be to find a pet sitter on short notice. I have 4+ years of a Veterinary background and experience with many breeds and types of animals. If you book with me, you will likely meet my boyfriend Zach, as he lives with me. We are both very active and love to walk and run with dogs! Looking forward to meeting new dogs and helping someone out! I have a very flexible schedule. I can work with you to find the best schedule for your pet and can be available often for potty breaks. I have a fenced in yard and have access to a dog crate if needed. I live on a dead end street so it is a very safe neighborhood.

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals, from horses to turtles, I love learning about new critters! My jobs have all been centered around animals, including as a vet assistant where my responsibilities covered birth to end of life care of our patients. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, and I know how important it is to get medications on time. I personally love quirky animals, or shy ones who need a quiet, confident person that they can trust to take good care of them (and their owners will too!) I am currently working part time on my own schedule, and I would be able to care for your animal in the morning, noon, and at night. About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

About: I have been lucky enough to have grown up with dogs all my life and been around animals in general. I started taking care of my first family pet, Nanny, at a young age, who was a loyal and loving Rottweiler. I have taken care of horses, chickens, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, goats and llamas. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog by the name of Bubba, he is hilarious. I am familiar with grooming, assessing appropriate play, administering medication when necessary, and of course making sure animals are fed and hydrated. I read the book, The Art of Racing in the Rain and have looked at dogs differently ever since. About: I’ve house + pet sat for neighbors and friends from a young age but picked up more consistent work around 7 years ago when I first started college. There’s just nothing better than hanging out with new pets! I have a lot of experience working with reactive dogs like my boy at home, or with cats who are shy/can be aggressive. Going on walks with dogs, keeping a watchful eye for other creatures and people is a piece of cake.
