About: I have been taking care of animals since I was really young! I had lots of different pets growing up, so I have experience with all types of animals. I have done pet sitting before, by myself and helping my sisters. I am currently on summer break before I go to college at the end of September, so I have lots of free time to take care of pets! I have lots of free time to check on the pets and stay in the house, whatever is needed! I love going on walks, so I have no problems taking your pets for walks or being outside with them!

About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I am just getting back into to Rover after welcoming two beautiful kids into the world. I’ve always loved dogs and animals. They are like built in friends always there and just wanting unconditional love. We have had pets for as long as I can remember. We had small dogs growing up and now we have two fur babies of our own, a German Shepard and a terrier mix, who has no sense of personal space. Over all I’ve had experience with all sizes of dogs between owning them watching them in high school and college. Being that now I’m a mom to a toddler and baby I will bring them with me. So if that’s not something you’d be okay with I totally get it but I’m not the best fit for watching your fur babies. The baby will stay in his carrier for the most part and the toddler will want to play fetch with your dogs lol. I think she likes dogs more then me most days 😂 Our life’s revolve around our kids and dogs lol. I make sure our pup don’t stay shut in for to long for a long period of time. When we get home we either go on a walk or play for a while to burn off all of their built up energy and excitement. Our pups go everywhere with us from hiking, to camping, to going for a ride to get a pup cup. While I take care of your fur babies my toddler and I will just play with them and give them all of the attention while watching/ walking them, taking them outside, and feeding them.

About: I’ve had all types of pets since I was 7. I’ve taken care of all types of unique and different types of dogs as well. About: I’m in the military and very aware of how difficult it can be to find a pet sitter on short notice. I have 4+ years of a Veterinary background and experience with many breeds and types of animals. If you book with me, you will likely meet my boyfriend Zach, as he lives with me. We are both very active and love to walk and run with dogs! Looking forward to meeting new dogs and helping someone out! I have a very flexible schedule. I can work with you to find the best schedule for your pet and can be available often for potty breaks. I have a fenced in yard and have access to a dog crate if needed. I live on a dead end street so it is a very safe neighborhood.

About: I grew up on a farm with many types of animals, from horses to turtles, I love learning about new critters! My jobs have all been centered around animals, including as a vet assistant where my responsibilities covered birth to end of life care of our patients. I have experience with diabetic dogs and cats, and I know how important it is to get medications on time. I personally love quirky animals, or shy ones who need a quiet, confident person that they can trust to take good care of them (and their owners will too!) I am currently working part time on my own schedule, and I would be able to care for your animal in the morning, noon, and at night. I am not able to bring your animal to my home, but I will ensure that your home is clean when you return, and that your animal will be loved and cared for while you are away!

About: I have a true love for all animals, and I am dedicated to helping people take proper care of their pets. If you want someone who knows what they’re doing, and will love your animal dearly, give me a try! I have a 4-year-old pup at home whom I care for every day. For this summer especially, my schedule is more open and flexible, allowing me to easily help out you and your pet. I am always super gentle and friendly with animals, and am good at reading body language. I have had animals all my life, and feel confident that I will keep your pet safe and happy!

About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

About: I have been lucky enough to have grown up with dogs all my life and been around animals in general. I started taking care of my first family pet, Nanny, at a young age, who was a loyal and loving Rottweiler. I have taken care of horses, chickens, rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, goats and llamas. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog by the name of Bubba, he is hilarious. I am familiar with grooming, assessing appropriate play, administering medication when necessary, and of course making sure animals are fed and hydrated. I read the book, The Art of Racing in the Rain and have looked at dogs differently ever since. I think each dog has a special and different personality; I love discovering what that is and showering them with affection. I am grateful for the animals that have been in my life, as they have taught me about love, loss, joy, and grief. I am very flexible when it comes to walking or visiting times. I will have plenty of time to play with and love on your pups! I have a yard for some fresh air and parks nearby. Water is always accessible and full. The environment is clean and calm and would be wonderful for any animals.

About: With over 10 years of experience caring for pets, I’ve been someone that my friends, family, and roommates can call when they need someone reliable to look after their animals. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all types like young, old, high energy, low maintenance, anxious, and affectionate. I’m comfortable handling everything from the basics like feeding, walks, and playtime to more involved care like medication, crate training, and senior routines. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals they tend to trust me quickly, and I take that seriously. I approach each pet with patience, respect, and a steady presence. Whether your dog needs a running buddy or your older cat just wants a quiet companion while you’re away, I’ll meet them where they’re at. I understand how important it is to keep your pet’s routine consistent and stress free. I treat every animal like they’re my own with attention, care, and a commitment to making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. As a Social Work student at Evergreen State College, I take online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule to focus on caring for pets. Outside of class, I dedicate my time to walking dogs, house sitting, and caring for pets while their families are away. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, and it fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m reliable, communicative, and available throughout the day for check-ins, playtime, walks, and overnight stays. When im taking care of your pet, safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely to keep routines consistent, whether that means specific feeding times, crate use, medications, or special accommodations. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and mindful of your pet’s boundaries.

About: I’ve house + pet sat for neighbors and friends from a young age but picked up more consistent work around 7 years ago when I first started college. There’s just nothing better than hanging out with new pets! I have a lot of experience working with reactive dogs like my boy at home, or with cats who are shy/can be aggressive. Going on walks with dogs, keeping a watchful eye for other creatures and people is a piece of cake. I have also grown up taking care of my two budgies and countless stray cats through my childhood and the trust that I seem to build with animals of all temperaments comes quickly and naturally. I’ll always give them a loving cuddle or extra space as needed. I’m a lover of all pets at all stages in life ❤️ I work full time from home, so my schedule is extremely flexible! I love taking my laptop over to work while pet sitting and house sitting, and for drop-ins/walks I can easily take my lunch or go on a break whenever needed to get the lovely creatures taken care of. I’d be thrilled to come stay for overnight visits with your pets! 🌙 At home, my dog is reactive with other creatures so I can’t bring your babies into my home but I’ll bring myself to them in the comfort of theirs 🏡 🐕 Message me anytime and we can talk about the details!
